Realizing that the guards weren't taking that moment to enter the cell, Kisii relaxed slightly and allowed her eyes to move between her fellow prisoners. Most of them were pathetic, but a few might be willing to make a stand if it came to it. When the moment came, she would see who was worth more than their weight in zorbo shit.
(Gauging people's reactions or seeing if they're telling the truth would be an insight roll.)
Bupiddo smiles at Qiao, displaying somewhat pointed teeth.
"Yes, yes. Derro are native to the Underdark. We mostly live in Gracklstugh, though, so I'm not surprised you haven't seen any of us. Tell me, friend, how did you come to be here? You're obviously no native to the Underdark."
Bupiddo seems clever and charming, and Qiao can't tell if he's concealing anything, or what way he might lean. You can assume he's no friend of the drow, but other than that . . .who knows?

In Kerook's meditation, he will focus on listening to the drow guards. How often do they come by and check on us? Do any of them seem to be weak or sympathetic?
At some point he will approach Shuushar and speak in a discreet voice, "Do you speak common?"
If so:
"I used to live my life on the seas, and I've never seen one of your kind. I'm fairly new to the underdark, and I don't trust many of the folks down here, but you seem honorable. What can you tell me about this place?"
Kisii watches some of the prisoners begin speaking in low tones to one another. None of them appear to be formulating a plan to act against their captors.
She realizes that they are all afraid. Her eyes close and her head drops and she begins to whisper under her breath.
A successful medium (due to the whisper) difficulty Perception check will hear her words, but will need to understand Halfling to know what she's saying (though an Easy Religion check will recognize 'Ubtao':)

Mialee walks over to Ront. "Hey, wake up ya big oaf. You're big and burly, how would you like to become my new right hand man... er... uh... Orc? Theres gold in it for you when we get out of here and back to Menzoberannzen.

“Everyone should be free to pursue their own livelihood.” She recites back to you like some sort of Mantra. “Ironic that some folks livelihood puts others in chains. This is why my family fought against the slave trade for so long. Honestly, it’s probably why they’re dead.
Sure,” she says while she stands up, eyeing the male drow in the back of the cell, “you can count on me. Do you have a plan yet?”
“If we were in Menzoberannzen, I might have a pretty good idea but from what I can tell, we are not. What I do know, is that Drow are notorious slave owners, and I would expect to be moved to the slave market in Menzoberannzen at some point.... except me.... I can’t imagine whomever has me here wants me to be seen in the capital. They will either have me taken somewhere else or will come here and execute me where ever “here” is. They can’t afford me returning to the capital.
Have you managed to figure out where exactly we are?”
Honestly, not to shabby. Hrunting retorts, scratching his chin.

Bupiddo glances around nervously.
"We really shouldn't talk about such things. Drow ears are amazingly keen, yes?"

Stool says nothing, but starts trembling.
Ront looks up blearily, and then goes back to sleep.
”Piss off.”
