Roux, as you investigate the doll house, you take note of some of the architectural featires, which from your experience line up perfectly with the house you are in right now. Secret rooms and all. One secret door in the attic of the doll house atrikes tour interest. Beyond it lies a tight spiral staircase which begins in the attic and spirals downward, presumably below the first floor of the house.
As you touch the dollhouse to pull back the secret door, you hear a shrill girls' voice,
"I don't like when people touch my things!"
Everybody assembled in the room watches as two ghostly figures emerge from the pile of bones in front of you, Rose and Thorn Durst, the children who brought you here. The girls' figure pouts and flys flys to meet you, Roux,
"Didn't anybody tell you to ask before you touch other peoples' things?"
Yesqirelle, the bones give no indication of the cause of death.
Though clearly disturbed by the gruesome discovery of the bones of the Durst children, the hobgoblin didn't scream in terror as the jumpy, thieving man-cat did.
No, instead, he knelt down, meeting the spectres eye to eye.
Anyone familiar with hobgoblins would certainly find it a strange sight: Krolbrik's race were reputed for their brutality, cruelty and savagery outside of those like him and his clan, and yet, in his intense yellow eyes was a gaze of sadness and sympathy at the little spectres.
"You poor children. Neither one of you deserved this."
Ericina looks at the children as they appear as ghosts, moving over to kneel down next to them as well. Once there hobgoblin companion finishes speaking she will move to speak as well. "My husband is a ghost to. So if you ever meet a half elf by the name of Quinn tell him that I am waiting for him to haunt me. I miss talking with him."
Roux will fall on his rear hard in surprise "O-oh h-hi, I'm sorry about that. I didn't realize that you were here." He stammers " based off of what my friend said you arent the same two we met out side, are you?" Doing his best to ignore the fact that he is talking to ghost children, but is obviously uncomfortable.
Hearing the sound of screaming, Aka runs up the stairs only to be greeted with ghosts. Ah, great. You are dead. Of course you are. Are you all right? Has anyone found the baby yet? (Wow I leave for a parade and there's 2 more pages.) Aka tries to identify the cause of death. Investigation:7 Medicine:20
Aka, the extreme age of the bones makes it difficult to determine. There's no signs of external damage, however.
Bala, this dust-choked room contains a slender bed, a nightstand, a small iron stove, a writing desk with a stool, an empty wardrobe, and a rocking chair. A smiling doll in a lacy yellow dress sits in the northern window box, cobwebs draping it like a wedding veil.
Ericina, Rose turns to answer you, "We're trapped here," she says, "We can't pass on."
Roux, Thorn's ghost does his best to hide behind his sister while peeking his head out from behind her spectral form to watch you all with suspicion. He doesn't seem to recognize any of you from earlier and is much more reserved now.
"Why can't you pass on?" Still sitting on the floor Roux will ask as gently as he can understanding that even though they are ghosts they are still children.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Wait...a bedroom on the second floor, kids bedroom is across the hall, there's supposedly one more kid..."Who the heck slept in here? An uncle?" Bala will search around for anything interesting before moving on to the room to the left of the kids bedroom.
Ericina pouts at this and loses interest in the two child ghosts and the other in the room to go and explore room that is across from the children's room, opening the door and peaking inside but not stepping in.

The children don't know how to pass on, they shake their heads when you ask.
Bala, it seems like this room is just a spare. As you push open the door next to the children's room, you see another spare bedroom with a slender bed, a nightstand, a rocking chair, an empty wardrobe, and a small iron stove. A quick search reveals little of note.
Krolbrik and Yesqirelle, between the two of you, you puzzle out that the reason these spirits can't pass on is because they haven't been given funerary rites. They will need to be laid in the ground before the can't can pass on.
"You two have been subjected to a misery that no young ones should ever be forced to face. On my word, as a paladin of Torm, I shall do what I can to find out whoever it was that comitted this horrid act upon you two." Krolbrik's yellow eyes were filled with sympathy for the two youthful specters. "If we can... do we have permission to potentially find somewhere to bury your remains with the dignity you two were never given while alive?"

(I would be right behind bala following...I thought. Sorry.)
"Oooooohhhhh shoot. We in deep now" Roux will walk over to the dollhouse carefully and investigate it.
Investigation: 18
"What did I say!? What. Did I. SAY!?" Demon children!" Bala will point the hand crossbow at the skeletons. "Why are we helping ghosts!?"
“The real question is, what killed them? Also, the children we talked to weren’t undead. I would have sensed it.”
Yesqirelle will try to see what killed the children.

"Illusions?" Ericina asks in a surprisingly lucid state, seeming to be more aware once she calms enough to see the skeleton children.

Hm. Was there a way to help these children pass on? Krolbrik pondered this.
(Do you want me to make a roll for something like Religion, Trans?)
Would Yesqirelle know anything about that, given her background?
Religion just in case: 18
