Dredge turns towards Grixx. ”Unfortunately, it’s not your time yet. You may be a fanatic, but your companion stands against natural law!” With that, Dredge looks over at Jury, looking for any pieces of metal that make up the warforged. Seeing pieces of armor plating that are made of battered metal, he casts Heat Metal at fourth level, the wizard’s components glowing white hot, bringing pain to the warforged (**OOC: Thanks @ Lerus for helping to clarify**). Spell cast, Dredge then morphs again into the Ankylosaurus and charges towards Jury.
Nox use his racial trait feline agility (+30 movement) move to D69. Once there the owl fly off the tabaxy shoulder to B70.
Owl Action: help distract drago (first attack with advantage)
Nox BA: Hexblade’s Curse on drago (+4 damage, crit on 19-20) Action : Eldritch Blast Attack(advantage from owl): 26 damage: 18 Attack: 28 damage(crit on 19): 19 Attack: 15 damage: 13
all damage are force damage and focused on the elf
I will expend 2 lucky points to add rolls for the two attacks that hit me - Lucky point 1: 15 Lucky point 2: 6
I will choose to use both rolls, I should have specified which goes with which I was assuming current order. Lucky point 1 (doesn't change the outcome of attack #1) and Lucky point 2 ( should cause attack #2 to miss)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(@Hydra I assume by components you mean his body/main 'plate' armor? Because aside from the shield and sword on his back, those are the only other visible metal bits on him)
Jury's Reaction(Prior to his turn): Counterspell(4th level) on Heat Metal. As they are both equal, the Dredge's spell automatically fails unless the spell is also countered. (Looking at you Nox and Lot)
Jury cocks its head at Dredge and makes a curt waving motion releasing grey, arcane energies aimed at devouring and disrupting the spell. Whether the reaction succeeds or not, the warforged goes on to say, "The only /law/ that matters is the law of Erathis, Sweet Prince."Then Dredge shifts and comes charging at Jury, eliciting an "Oh my" from the construct as it snaps into a ready position.
Either through his own accord or some other machination, Verdict clamors around to Jury's side pouch, producing a small packet. Without hesitation he casts the stuff into the air, turning Dredge, Jury, and Jury's minions all invisible for 6 minutes with Dust of Disappearance. When next Justiceat least appears it is mid-flying leap into the face of Karwin.
(@All By RAW, creatures that are invisible do not provoke OoA unless a creature posses enemy hostile creature possess a means to see through invisibility, or are not reliant on sight. Ie. Blindsight, Tremorsense, and etc. And any attack at said target's location will be made at disadvantage.)
Bonus Action: Command Justice.
(@Lerus Exact mental command in spoiler)
'Kill my enemies in order of Karwin, Lot, Nox, then Dredge.'
S/N: Verdict will continue to ride Jury to his next position until he teleports, and then hover in the new space.
Justice's Action: Venomous Claw Attack: 22 Damage: 7. If hit, Karwin must make a DC 11 Con save or be consider Poisoned until the end of his next turn. (At advantage due to attack from an unseen position from just south-ish of Karwin).
As for Jury and Verdict, the former re-materializes at H-75 holding his staff in his off-hand, "Rule Thirty-Four: Everything is permissible so long as the hand remains tempered by a sound mind." If allowed to complete the spell, Jury disappears again in the blink of an eye, reappearing only in fleeting moments to strike out at Karwin, Dredge, Nox, and... Nox's Owl! Upon impact, the four would feel as if the weight of the blow carry unnatural Force behind it. When he finally does stop teleporting around, he will appear at B-71.
Jury's Action: Cast Steel Wind Strike (5th Level) at Karwin, Dredge, Nox, and Nox's Owl.
Attack vs Karwin:To Hit: 25 Force Damage: 29. Attack vs Dredge: To Hit: 23 Force Damage: 36. Attack vs Nox: To Hit: 10 Force Damage: 30. Attack vs Nox's Owl: To Hit: 9 Force Damage: 51.
(@Lerus If at disadvantage due to Jury's Counter Spell being counterspelled, here are the disadvantage attack numbers in order of top to bottom: 28, 11, 15, 18, 17)
(@Dredge Due to the nature of the item, your first attack on anyone will be at advantage due to attacking from being unseen. Otherwise, until you attack or cast a spell, you will remain invisible for the above mention duration).
Future Reactions in order of most priority from top to bottom for quick DM reference:
In response to the first of /any/ enemy spell cast within 60ft Jury, he will cast Counterspell at third level. For expediency, add the roll to the summary as usual if necessary for a spell above 3rd level)
If Karwin, Nox, or Dredge make an attack on Jury that hits an AC of 22 to 26, he will cast Shield.
If viable spell is cast from outside of Jury's 60 ft range to counter spell, he will use Absorb Elements.
@Ori keep in mind that Dredge is now invisible. You can’t actually target him with Steel Wind Strike unless you can see through invisibility, as it says you must be able to see the target.
-> First attack would hit with a 26, but Drago uses a Luck point to make that roll a 24 instead. The attack still hits.
-> Second attack would also hit with a 28 and count as a critical due to Hexblade's Curse. Drago uses a second Lucky point to make that a 15 instead. The attack misses.
-> Third attacks misses.
-> None of the Lucky point uses count as a reaction for Drago. Nonetheless, Drago still takes 18 force damage (Drago - HP: 81/99).
Seeing the exchange of spells between Dredge and Jury, Lot will intervene by casting Counterspell (4th level) as his reaction for this round. He is targeting Jury's own Counterspell (4th level) with his casting, which would fail automatically unless we go down a Counterspell spiral...
-> Dredge casts Heat Metal (4th level) on a single piece of visible exterior armor plating that is part of Jury's body.
-> Jury tries to Counterspell it but is itself Counterspelled by Lot. The original spell persists. Both Jury and Lot have used their reactions for this round.
-> From our OOC conversation, I'll assume that Dredge targeted one of the plating pieces in Jury's face. Jury takes 16 fire damage (Jury - HP: 73/89).
-> Jury must roll a CON saving throw {DC 15}. I'm rolling this on Jury's behalf here: 13.
-> As per the spell's description, Jury must drop his facial plating if he can. I'll say that this is possible, but it is up to Jury whether to do it or not as it wouldn't exactly be a "drop" and more of a "rip." During Jury's turn, if he so chooses, he can use his free [Tooltip Not Found] action to "drop" his facial plating. Doing so would temporarily drop Jury's AC by 1 point until he is able to repair it. Repairing it costs an action as we will say that the warforged is proficient in repairing itself. Alternatively, Jury can keep his facial plating and continue to be affected by the spell for its duration and/or concentration.
-> DredgeWildshapes into an Ankylosaurus. and moves to {I79}. (@Hydra: when detailing movement in this form, please take the center square of the Ankylosaurus' Huge form (3x3) as the point of reference).
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
JURY'S TURN
-> Verdict (familiar) uses Dust of Disappearance, affecting itself, Justice (minion), Jury, and Dredge in his dinosaur form.
-> Justice (minion) moves to {G79} and attacks Karwin from an unseen position dealing 4 slashing damage (Karwin - HP:52/116). Justice is no longer invisible.
-> Karwin must succeed a CON saving throw {DC 11} or be poisoned until the end of her next turn. I'm rolling that saving throw on Karwin's behalf here: 26. Karwin is not poisoned.
-> Jury moves to {H75} and casts Steel Wind Strike targeting Nox, Karwin and the Owl (familiar). These three attacks are made at disadvantage because of Heat Metal.
-> The attack on Nox (14 or 16 to hit) misses.
-> The attack on the Owl (17 or 26 to hit) hits. The owl takes 41 force damage and disappears (Owl - HP: 0/1).
-> The attack on Karwin (16 or 9 to hit) is a critical miss.
-> Jury reappears at {B71} and Verdict flies to the same space from his previous position at {H75}. Jury is no longer invisible but Verdict still is.
Nox watches his owl blown to smithereens. and say to Jury "oi oi don't you think that was overkill? It was just an owl if that wasn't an spirit there wouldnt even be a body left only blood"
(@poke: Jury’s undead minion, Justice, is within 5 feet of Karwin. Otherwise, the next closest opponent is Bone in the northeast corner and then Drago and Jury at the northwest corner. Are you still moving? If so, what square would you move to?)
((Sorry! Busy with work!))
Bone will fire his longbow aimed at Karwin. While also casting Hunter's Mark aimed at Karwin as well.
Action:
Attack: 28 Damage: 14
Attack: 27 Damage: 7
Additional Attack from Dread Ambusher: 13 Damage: 17
Bonus Action:
Casted Hunter's Mark at Karwin.
Kandalou Dle'tan - Level 9 Githyanki Fighter (Champion) - Rrakkma PbP
-> Karwin becomes targeted by Bone's Hunter's Mark.
-> The first two Longbow, +1 attacks hit, causing a total of 21 piercing damage (Karwin - HP: 95/116).
-> The extra attack due to Dread Ambusher misses.
-> Bone did not move this turn, staying at {B83}.

"Let's ease the numbers first." Karwin says, seemingly being focus-fired. She raises her symbol and attempts to banish Grixx.
