Shale recoils as he takes to more strikes. He carefully steps away from the two spirits in front of him and retreats behind the goblin. "Get you narrow ass up there and hit something!" Having hopefully reached some safer position, the cleric draws back and throws a spectral spear at one of the spirits (looking most hurt). The spear lunges out to its target after landing at its position.

Brix watches as Shale posts up behind him and responds, "WHAT IS IT YOU THINK I'VE BEEN TRYING TO DO, SHALE?!" He then moves back into his previous position and attempts two more attacks against S2.
Movement -- F10 to H10 (10ft)
Action -- Attack: 23 Damage: 11 Extra Attack: 26 Damage: 12 (Going to include Brutal Critical die from now on for convenience)
(If S2 falls after first attack, Brix will move to H9 and redirect Extra Attack at S5. If S5 is already down from Shale's attack, Brix will redirect Extra Attack at SP instead.)
Balian, still hiding next to the pedestal, nocks another arrow and aims it as the nearest spirit. "We've got them on the ropes now gents, at least metaphorically, unless someone wants to try tying one up!"

Balian's arrow flies true, poking a big hole in its target (S2) (17 damage).
CON save vs. spores: 7
The lead spirit snarls as Jarl's spores swarm around it, though they're more of an irritant than a serious threat (1 damage). His acid covered claws are dodged entirely, however.
Squiggles's fire bolt has a much bigger effect, searing the spectral being (lead spirit) with magical flame (25 damage).
Brix's first rapier thrust pierces right through the spirit's (S2's) torso (5 damage), and it dissipates into nothing. Notching his third kill of the battle he rages toward the other fighting spirit minion (S5) and strikes with even more force, as a hole opens in its ghostly form (6 damage).
Shale's spiritual weapon follows up Brix's attack with a slash of magical force, causing the spirit (S5) to wail in pain (9 damage). It's looking pretty ragged, if an incorporeal being can look ragged.

The lead spirit continues its melee duel with Jarl, slashing at him twice with its sword (Attack 1: 14 Damage: 5, Attack 2: 26 Damage: 12). Jarl dodges the first swipe, but the spirit gets him with the second while he's ducking (11 damage).
The three turned spirits (S1, S3, S4) continue to cower in the corner.
The remaining unturned minion (S5) turns its attention to Brix, swiping twice at the nimble goblin with its longsword (Attack 1: 17 Damage: 8, Attack 2: 11 Damage: 9), but it can't make solid contact.
Still in the corner, Balian follows a few targets around the room, looking down the length of an arrow shaft. As one of the spirits swings wildly at Brix, he launches another arrow, this time high and right of the goblin's head (aimed at S5).

"Now, see there. That's more like it! You just needed some encouragement," Shale says with a wide grin on his face as the goblin connects and one of the spirits disappears. He moves up to the middle of room between Jarl and Brix (H10), as he moves so does his spectral spear - to Jarl's opponent, and it strikes out. The cleric then holds the staff close to himself to take advantage of the healing that it can provide.
The goblin appears rather pleased with himself as he gets his third kill, only to barely get his shield up in time against S5. As he moves to riposte, he hears an arrows whiz right above his right flank, causing the spirit to disappear. He turns around at Balian and says, "AGAIN?! Ugh, whatever."
Brix then refocuses his rage against the lead spirit, stepping back to H10 (5ft Movement)
Action -- Reckless Attack: 22 Damage: 6 + 11 Fury of the Small Damage
Just as Brix is about to claim the unlife of the other fightin' spirit minion, Balian swoops in and steals his kill (11 damage, S5 down).
Jarl valiantly but impotently spars with the lead spirit, which is unaffected by his halo of spores, and again dodges the razor acid claws of doom.
Squiggles points his fingers and incants something or other toward the cluster of spirits cowering in the corner, and a fire appears next to all three of them.
Deprived of a kill by Balian, Brix focuses his rage on the head spirit honcho, stabbing it through where its heart would be, and opening a hole in its middle (11 damage). His second thrust, however, only manages to swish through the already open hole, doing no additional damage.
Shale supplicates his spiritual spear to spear the spirit, which it seeks subserviently and successfully, causing it to recoil (9 damage). The healer then apparently hears a voice in his head saying, "Healer, heal thyself!", and responds with a jovial "Don't mind if I do!" (11 HP healed).

The lead spirit begins to wish it had some more interesting tricks up its sleeve than continuing to hack away, but instead it continues to hack away, this time at Brix (Attack 1: 15 Damage: 7, Attack 2: 14 Damage: 10). (oops, forgot to roll w/ advantage from reckless attack:
A1, 11
A2 11
Didn't matter.)
Despite the barbarian's seeming imperviousness, it actually manages to connect with the first of its blows, though the raging goblin only takes a scratch (3 damage).
The spirit remembers that it does have one other trick up its sleeve, and its eyes glow brighter as its sword is momentarily suffused with a deep black glow. It swings it again at Brix (Attack: 15 Damage: 18).
As this swing connects with the goblin's hide it seems to suck some of the vitality from the barbarian's flesh. (10 slashing/necrotic damage after factoring in bear totem rage resistance). However, this power attack seems to leave the spirit temporarily drained of some of its agility, rendering it susceptible to attack (all attacks have advantage against it this round).
The three cowering spirits continue to huddle in the corner around the toasty campfire provided by Squiggles.
Brix is unfazed by the lead spirit's first attack, dodging the follow-up. Just as he's about to counter, the spirit swings again, taking the goblin by surprise. "That was...NEWWWWWWWW!"
He screeches back at the spirit, looking for an opening.
Shale will move (to M8) in close to Squiggles to provide some manner of protection to the injured gnome. He reaches out, and with a glow from his staff, provides some relief to his companion's wounds. (Cure Wounds, 1 charge, 9). He then commands the spear to strike out at one of the spirits (priority on Lead Spirit. If Brix killed it above, then move spear to N10 and attack S4)
Spiritual Weapon Attack: 11 Damage: 10 (Adv if on Lead Spirit, 21)
