OOC: Yes Ryan the HP numbers will count up to the max number of your HP. Had them counting down at the start of the last fight but it got a bit confusing as the goblins were going upwards!

A burst of flames ignites the watery chamber, lighting up the entire room.
Goblin 3 Dexterity Save: 21 Synas Spell Save DC: 13
The patrolling goblin, sees a spark and dives aside a split second before the fire engulf the area. A wave of heat hits the party waiting at the tunnel entrance.
Zyltris' attempt at sneaking up on the nearest goblin does not go well. He slips on the wet floor, scraping stones as he stops himself. The goblin, turns at the sound and spots the elf coming.
OOC: After Syna's suprise attack it's probably easier to just roll initiative before things get confusing!
In the first round: Goblin 1 will spot Zyltris so no suprise. Goblin 2 will still be suprised, so will not attack this round. Goblin 3 has dodged Synas attack against him and is now alert to an attack.
Beetle I will restart you back at your starting position as we probably should start back with initiative order. Zyltris I've allowed you to attempt a stealth approach, assuming that you would arrive whilst the spell is being cast.
Sildar raises his looted Goblin shortbow. Firelight flickering in his eyes he steps out of the tunnel and aims an arrow at the goblin patrol (G3).
Sildar attack roll: 20 Damage inflicted: 7
The black feathered arrow is released quickly, splitting the air as it heads towards its target. It bursts through the intense bonfire flames and smashes hard into the goblins collarbone, knocking him backwards.
"GOTCHA!" exclaims the veteran soldier. "Come on lads, there's only three of them!"
Goblin 1 distracted by the explosion of fire, turns on the spot as he hears Zyltris slide towards him. Drawing his scimitar quickly, the goblin strikes a blow against the approaching elf fighter.
Goblin attack roll: 15 Damage inflicted: 4
The scimitar lands a glancing blow into the elfs side, snapping a few small links of chain mail.
Having dodged the bonfire and taken a dramatic hit from Sildars arrow, the patrolling goblin (G3) turns away from the ensuing chaos in the cavern. He disengages from the battle and sprints away, wet naked feet slapping against stone. In a second he has disappeared out of sight.
OOC: Sorry Zyltris, forgot you were between these two! Take your turn and if you G1 gets killed off then he obviously doesnt attack you
OOC: I'm about to get ready for my night shift so I'm going to post my action now, since it is not likely to change, no matter what happens next.
Serak: Having to change his plan of attack at the last second, Serak sprints after the fleeing goblin. As he runs he yells to the others, "Don't worry, I'll get him!"
Running at full speed, Serak makes it to the bottom for the stairs up which the goblin fled. If he has line of site on the fleeing goblin, he'll attempt to shoot him. Otherwise he'll shoot at the nearest goblin.

The goblin unaware of the danger he’s in turns to see the huge figure of Beetle charging his way. In a split second he draws his scimitar and comfortably parries away the paladins longsword. The warming air of the chamber swirls wildly as the bonfire begins to burn at full ferocity.
Syna steps into the intense firelight of the cave. The goblin engaging with Beetle stands not fire from the raging furnace, his body sweating with the intensity of the heat.
Goblin 2 Consitution Save: 16 Synas Spell Save DC: 13
The wood elfs spell fails to affect the goblin through the warmed chamber air. Any ice that Syna had created quickly melts as it forms on the goblin.
Meanwhile, Serak having to change his plan of attack at the last second, sprints after the fleeing goblin. As he runs he yells to the others, "Don't worry, I'll get him!"
Running at full speed, Serak makes it to the bottom for the stairs up which the goblin fled. Ahead of him the dimness of the chamber provides plenty of hiding places.
Serak:
Serak stands at the entrance to a large chamber. Inside, darkness. The embers of an extinguished fire pit glow faintly in the centre of the room. Along the opposite wall and the wall to Seraks left, lie a vast collection of crates and sacks, most marked with a distinguishing symbol of a blue lion. In the western portion of the chamber, two large stalagmites dominate a smaller chamber, between them the floor begins to slope slowly downwards towards a narrow opening that descends into darkness.
Serak stares into the chamber crossbow ready. Movement ahead of him catches his eye. A goblin trying to hide in the cargo crates. Serak fires at the cowering beast.
Serak fires at the goblin directly ahead of him:
Attack: 21 Damage: 5
Seraks arrow sails into the mass of sacks and boxes, splitting a small sack of grain before plunging into the goblins chest. A strange feeling comes over the bard. This isn't the goblin he chased in here. A low menacing growl comes from his right. Bright yellow eyes shine out of the gloom from behind a stalagmite. A wolf, bares its teeth.
OOC: Have to try something a bit different here, as you're getting a bit spread out. It'll all become apparent!
Beetle, Sildar, Zyltris and Syna:
If Syna decides to follow Serak this turn he can use Seraks map for planning his attack. Zyltris and Beetle can follow Serak but would need to use an action to disengage.
Serak:
G3, G4 and G5 have half cover unless they come out from behind the crates. W currently has 3/4 cover unless you move to get a better shot.
Distracted by Sildars sudden appearance, the goblin is caught off guard. Zyltris morningstar smashes into the goblins head, a loud crack echoes off the adjacent boulder. The goblin, badly injured, continues to fight on. Blood gushing from a gaping wound on its temple.
The goblin (G1) staggers, dizzy from the impact and sudden blood loss. Surrounded on both sides, trapped with no where to escape, he has no option but to fight. He swings his sword wildly at Sildar.
G1 attack roll: 12 Damage Roll: 5
The flailing sword catches Sildar in the neck. The veteran is badly injured. Clutching at his neck he staggers backwards, deep red liquid flows freely down his arm, dripping quickly onto the cave floor.
Across the chamber, Beetle and another goblin are still engaged in a closely fought battle. The goblin slams its shield into Beetles chest, then follows up with a lightning quick sword swipe at the paladins legs.
G2 attack roll: 23
The sword clangs harmlessly off Beetles chain mail,as his knee flashes upwards and catches the goblin hard in the stomach in retaliation, winding the beast.
Serak:
In the southern chamber, Serak finds himself alone at the mercy of a goblin ambush. Ahead of him, the half hidden goblin stands bleeding over a set of sacks, to his right, a wolf steps into the firelight revealing itself. A sudden crash of crates from Seraks left and a second goblin (G3) emerges from hiding, bow in hand.
G3 attack roll:4, (Sorry selected wrong option on the dice roller), 18 Damage Roll: 3
The goblins arrow flies away from the crates, hitting Serak squarely in the side.
The goblin ahead of him (G4) has now notched an arrow, aiming his way. Its vengeful eyes narrow as it takes its shot.
G4 attack roll: 21,(I've done it again, this one doesn't get advantage), 21
Serak sees the attack, and ducks just in time. The arrow narrowly sails overhead.
A third and final goblin (G5) has jumped out from the crates on the left of Serak. With his comrades finished their arrow barrage, he charges towards the elf, scimitar drawn.
G5 attack roll:17 G5 Damage Roll: 6
The scimitar catches Serak hard in the shoulder, slicing his skin from shoulder to neck. As the wolf approaches, the goblin takes a few steps backwards to allow it through. The goblins around the chamber dance in glee to see their trap has worked. One of them leads a cry of "Dhuur Khurgorbaeyag!" as the wolf approaches, preparing to charge at the shell shocked bard.
OOC: Sorry Almarath, those were difficult rolls to make, and I had to make them right and fair, hence the corrections. I rolled the goblins stealth checks earlier and compared them to your passive perception. The ones left hidden, (G3, G5 and the Wolf) got advantage rather than surprising you mid battle.

OOC: my iPad goofed while adding this so sorry. No change in die rolling
OOC: Goblin 2 still has a turn before I go
OOC: haha yeah the dice rolls are a bit sensitive! Wouldn’t think you’d manipulate rolls for those results anyway! Lol
Beetle you’re up next, Ive put Goblin 2 down as surprised this round, so he’ll skip this first round
Beetle continues his charge at g2, as he closes he brings his sword toward slashing across the foe...

Then we’ll be onto round 2
OCC: I love doing the random roles in pen & paper... and turning the sand timers.
