Tiths unexpected fury catches Curascious by surprise as the raging goblin slides on it's back under momma bear and slashes across her stomach. He seeits entrails fall out before she collapses on top of Tith. For a moment all is still... then the she bear shifts! One should moves, then the other followed by crunchingsounds... suddenly the water blade flashes in a ring around the bears neck, the head falls free as Tith crawls out of her now exposed throat cackling maniacally. Once free he picks up the head and let's out a possesed roar of victory as he holds his trophy up! Tossing the mother's bears severed head in front of the cub "I am the mightiest! Share your mother's fate, fight and die! Flee in terror, starve and die! Or I show you how to fight, make you big and strong and you try to kill me when you stand a chance against my fury!! CHOOSE YOUR FATE!!!"

The bear cub screams, "Mommy!" Tears stream down his face as he realizes what has happened. "Momma can't be dead. No. No. That's not true! That's impossible! I'll never join you!" He turns angrily to Tith.
"Okay bye!" Tith waves heartily at the bear cub. "Alright den let's chop chop some meats!" He will attempt to skin the bear, keeping its claws, and butcher it. Placing the carved meat on the skin to create a makeshift bag. He whistles while he does this.

Curascious stands there, covered in bear blood. “Not sure what just happened,” he says, probably a bit in shock. “Wash off in the river here...assuming you have the ability to butcher the animal.”
Curascious will do his best to wash off the blood and grime from his armor.
Tith is able to skin the bear and get a fair amount of meat, though the job he did makes it evident that he is not a master butcher nor skinner. The job is done and you end up with"
50 pounds of useable bear meat

bear skin bag

// It is mid-morning now. There is some time before the funeral. Anyone back at town want to do anything before the funeral or shall I fast forward through to the funeral//
Most of the town has turned out for the funeral of Rodrik. His father Jagrin and brother Kurst are there along the side of Brinya and Omast Frum who has a hand around the shoulders of Katrezra helping him to stand.
The high priestess Tyari Varvatos is officiating the ceremony at the Flame of the Fallen. She walks around sprinkling herbs and praying softly. She holds a ceremonial hopeknife in her hands and it slowly rises up. Flames surround it and it quickly begins to glow red hot. She lowers the blade into a large ornamental bowl full oil. The hopeknife sizzles then turns a deep black.
In moments the hope knife is retrieved and dried then place in Brinya's hands. The blade seems cool to the touch already. She lowers her eyes, tears flowing down her face.
After words are said from family and friends, the whole ritual takes maybe an hour or so. Afterwards Jagrin walks up to you.
"Because of you, we at least know Rodrik didn't disgrace himself with an unnecessary suicide."
Time passes and Curascious and a bloody Tith arrive back in town, Tith wobbling with his large bundle of bloody meat and bear skin.
As the sun sinks below the horizon, the peaceful evening is shattered by the brazen calls of signal horns. Shouts and screams from the town's lower quarter join the clamor, followed by a crash as an airborne boulder smashes into one of the guard towers.
Trunau is under attack. With most of the town at the funeral only skeleton crews of soldiers are throughout the city. Jagrin immediately begins to order people about. Children run to safety with their parent to the long house.
Kurst runs up to the group. "Help us, I need to get the militia assembled. Damnit, they knew we were not ready, not today. Can you light the beacons for us?"
//He details out there are 3 key beacons that need to be lit.
Commons Beacon
Inner Gates Beacon
Hopespring Beacon
Secondary objective is to secure as many areas as possible as you make your way to the beacon and help townsfolk from danger. The beacons are around the edge and you are toward the center. They are about equal distance to you. The most important beacon will be the commons beacon.
The beacons are used to alert the more remote sections of town that the town is under attack and for civilians to take shelter and militia to arm themselves. They also provide light for the humans to be able to see in the night. Additionally they call in militia that are stationed outside the town.
During the time before the attack Tith would have given the pelt to a tanner to make a coat/cloak and to get the skull cleaned so he can make it a helmet for Orik. He ate some of the meat on the way back, gave 25 pounds to the butcher to cure/dry/salt and would be trying to cook and share some with the party. Once action starts he draws his choppas and runs toward the blacksmith, or the beacon nearest that direction. Stopping at every fight he encounters though.
Herd points at Tith and comments to Mozu, "Your ward is running off on his own, again, Mr. Mozu."
He then turns towards Red to follow him, commenting, "Strategy dictates we attempt to light the commons beacon first - it is the most useful to the town and likely to draw the most enemies."
Mozu cracks his neck, “Indeed.” He raises his fingers to his lips and looses a whistle, “TITH, DA CHOPPIN’ IS BEST DAT WAY! YOU UNDERSTAND, YOU GIT?” Mozu points toward the commons beacon and begins to make his way toward it.
Ok, Tith, they will have your stuff ready in the morning. The shop keepers looked like they wanted to get you in and out quickly. Total cost is about 20sp.
The funeral was at the Funeral of the Fallen so you are actually closer to the Commons Beacon. For brevity I will assume that Tith and Curascious have met up with you around the Flame of the Fallen.
Tith skids to a halt looking to Mozu and the promise of violence, then towards the Blacksmith he is clearly crushing on. After a moment he runs back to the group "let's get choppin, show dez orcses dat gobbins be the bestest!"
As you approach the commons beacon you hear a familiar scream. Brinya has been cornered by a bunch of humans who are yelling at her.
The leader a human male with a wicked looking mace hanging at his waist is yelling at her, "It's all your and your kind's fault. Our kids are gonna be killed or worse by savages like you."
In the distance you can hear the sounds of combat and can clearly hear orcish being yelled out as orders.
Brinya is scared and crying holding the blackened hope knife that she received during the ceremony.
Herd charges forward to intercede, shouldering anyone in his way out of his path.
He places himself between Brinya and the leader of the mob, yelling, hammer and shield at the ready, "You dishonor Mr. Rodrik's memory by threatening his betrothed! Find your bravery and prepare for the battle that comes from OUTSIDE these walls!"
Mozu follows behind, “As it stands, I really don’t care about any of you humans that I have not already met. Therefore, you and the fools assailing this town are roughly equal in my mind. So, unless you would like to end up in the same mass grave as them, I would suggest you listen to the iron giant.”
