Thank you sir. The Burgomister had some specific requests...not sure if you can accommodate
Davian already explained, in response to this, that the usual delivery to Vallaki will (likely) satisfy the burgomaster's request, and be sufficient for the coming festival(s).
It is my vineyard, and my winery. The wine we make, we do not sell. I give it freely to the taverns of the valley, because I know how the people suffer.
You say you want to see the winery? Well, I want to show it to you. I promise you will never anywhere else orchards such as these, which have been powered by magic for many years to keep the grapes coming in this wretched place.
A week ago, these druids stole one of the magic stones that powers the orchards. Without it, the grapes will stop growing. So, we went to get it back. We are, he looks around him, few in number and not great fighters. We were defeated, and as punishment, two days ago they came back and ran us out of the winery.
You would talk to them first? Even a moment's delay could spell your doom. You will find they are not much interested in talking.
But I want to show you the winery, and I want to supply the taverns with wine once again. So please, do not die.
Davian explains.
Without the magic stones, the grapes will, soon, stop growing. And we are not much for fighting, so we will soon enough be defending ourselves from the same forces that took the winery this time.
It is time to make the trip to Vallaki. We are in your debt and you have our gratitude, but I cannot say we will be here if you wait too long to return. Of course, if you were somehow able to defeat the druids at their home at Yester Hill . . . His voice trails off as he looks you all over with apparent concern for whether that could be successful. I do not know.
Be that as it may, you have bought us some time with your heroism today. Many thanks.
OK, so...Take car. Go to Mum's. Kill Phil - "Sorry." - grab Liz, go to the Winchester, have a nice cold pint, and wait for all of this to blow over. How's that for a slice of fried gold?
I've started a Table of Contents in the OP. I imagine your displays paginate the same as mine. It'll help me, and possibly help you as well. And you might enjoy a little trip down memory lane, if the entries entice you.
I'll follow up with the journey back to Vallaki soon. Congratulations! You all wrapped up the Wizard of Wines without much trouble.
Ok, the table of contents is done, for now. I know it will help me, and perhaps it will help you as well. Now I have to dig out one thing I forgot during your long rest.
Barnaby, after waking up in the middle of the night and going back to sleep, had the most wonderful, relaxing dreams he can remember having in many years. He wakes up deeply refreshed, looking forward to returning to Vallaki, and perhaps having a delicious pastry.
Lucento, as well, has a wondrously restful night, full of soothing dreams and a deep, deep sleep. He, too, awakes, looking forward to a bright day and a happy, easy return to Vallaki. Perhaps, he thinks, he will celebrate his return to civilization by enjoying a pastry.
Lucento and Barnaby, make Constitution saves. Make 'em today, and you're done with your pastry thing.
Also, you two may each take 1d6 temporary hit points for the day.
Barnaby has freed himself from his attachment to the pastries, but he will certainly remember the revelation that there is something sinister about them.
While we wait for Lucento to (1) pick his spells for the day and (2) roll a CON save to see if he, too, is free from the charm of the pastries, let's wind the clock.
You walk along the road north, back toward the main road - the one that runs essentially east/west in this part of the valley - that will take you back to Vallaki. Now, you are accompanying a wagon loaded with a barrel and bottles carefully stowed, and two young men accompanying it. You return to the crossroads where you encountered the hunters the day before (was it just yesterday?), and turn to the east.
Everybody make a Perception check. And Lucento, catch up. :)
You have all heard movement in the underbrush since you left the winemaker. Now that the wagon has made the turn to the east, back toward Vallaki, Kif sees three large wolf creatures closing on the wagon. You can see for yourselves on Roll20. Roll for initiative!
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Barnaby: Ah, I suspect these are the same pups we encountered on the way here. I don't recall how much trouble they were. It feels like it's been months since we saw them last, though it was only yesterday. Perhaps we didn't fight them at all that time. Initiative: 21
Chubs initiative: 22
There's a couple creatures to the right of the wagon. Are they really there?

Kif points out a total of 3 wolf creatures. You should be able to see them all. Two to the right, one to the left.
They are trotting toward the wagon. Everybody is up. What do you do?

Cool. I’ll put you on the road soon.
Davian reminds you all that he thinks the winery is in terrible danger. He urges you to return as soon as possible.
Wait. Why is the winery in terrible danger? I though we just saved it.

I’m sorry Kif. 💨

Excellent! Lucento, too, is free from the burden of the pastries. Also take 1d6 temporary hit points to help you in the coming battle.
