OOC: Concerning the gnoll mix-up, the only thing I can think I got confused about is when Mingo said they'd aim at the yellow gnoll unless they were the one running away. Sorry about that, and thanks for being flexible.
Jambiya, who seems to have a knack for targeting hiding gnolls, hits the (blue) gnoll again with a blast of eldritch energy! (blue -19 hp) Erric targets the bossman gnoll. (DC14 WIS save: 4) Despite being somewhat hidden, Erric can see the creature shakes its head and then hits its temple a couple of times with its fist in response to his creepy song. (white -11)
As the (yellow) gnoll heads for home, both Maldorn and Anafrey target it. Maldorn's arrow lands in the road right at its heels, but Anafray is able to pierce the creature in its upper back. The gnoll yelps, grasps the arrow head jutting from its chest, then stumbles and falls to the road, not moving.
The bossman gnoll stands, throws its bow, and rushes at Erric. On the way, it grasps the glaive on its back and swings it at the halfling. Then, it gets even closer and attempts to bite him! (glaive Attack: 21 Damage: 5; bite Attack: 24 Damage: 7) The (blue) gnoll struggles to its feet and fires another arrow at Jambiya. (Attack: 23 Damage: 12) Erric's eyes widen at the charging canine humanoid, but the bard is able to dodge both attacks by the hair of his chinny chin chin. Jambiya is not so luck. The arrowhead cuts another angry gash along her arm.

Maldorn moves to get a better angle at his next target, still hoping to benefit from some cover (moving to P-19). He makes sure to keep move his Hunter's Mark along as well.

Erric gawks at the near-miss of the glaive, realizing he's in a pickle. He draws both his silvered rapier and dagger and tries to stick the gnoll with the pointy end of each. If he can run under the gnoll, between his legs, to get behind him, he'll do that (he's able to move through the space of a creature larger than him). More for flavor than likely any functional benefit.
"Doesn't it feel good Anin... To fight against the gnolls... to make the land safer" Anafrey says to her flail as she releases an arrow towards the last of the visible gnolls.
The bossman is no longer hiding, so you're just shooting through the crown of the tree from where you are (15 feet up), so it gets +2 to its AC. If you move down five feet, it will receive no bonus to its AC.

Maldorn moves to the other side of the tree he's been using as cover and fires another arrow. His hurt shoulder fights him the whole time, and he finds it causes him to aim incorrectly. The arrow flies over the gnoll's head.
Trying to talk sense into her strange hitchhiker, Anafrey fires her own arrow at the (blue) gnoll. She has better luck, landing a shot in its side even as it cowers behind the hedge. She watches as it slumps to the ground and moves no more.
All that's left is the leader gnoll, and it is being thoroughly harassed by both Jambiya and Erric. Jambiya once again fires a well-aimed blast of green-white energy, hitting the gnoll in the shoulder, though it only has eyes for Erric. (-14) The halfling, in a sudden and delightful show of skilled double-swordmanship, cuts the creature twice — once rather deeply and the other shallowly. (-33)
The gnoll wields its glaive again, swinging it at Erric and then lunging with its mouth of sharp teeth. (glaive Attack: 6 Damage: 6; bite Attack: 11 Damage: 4) The bard is able to duck under the glaive's arc, but the creature then strikes like a snake, catching Erric off guard. Its teeth take a small chunk of flesh out of his neck.

"Don't fail me now, shoulder. Eric needs my help." Maldorn pleads as he painfully releases another arrow. He passes his Hunter's Mark to the boss-gnoll and moves to S-19.

Seeing Erric get sliced, Jambiya runs down the tree and then moves NE as close to P5 as she can get, yelling, "Try that one someone your own size, you flea-infested gnome lover!" When she sees the gnoll, she points her witchy stick at him and calls out magical words, and lightning arcs from the tip of her stick to(wards) the creature.
Move: Down the tree 10', then NE 20' Action: Cast Witch Bolt on the gnoll boss. 25 to hit, for 15 lightning damage.

Erric, just before the gnoll releases him from his bite, whispers into the gnoll's ear, "Most people find me appetizing, just not like this"casting dissonant whispers for 6 psychic damage on a failed WIS 14 save.

I'll just have Anafrey attack.
Maldorn moves to the edge of the road and fires another arrow, this time aiming for the final gnoll. He pushes past the pain in his shoulder and releases the projectile into the air. It arches through the air and lands in the creature's thigh, causing it to yelp in pain. (-46) It reaches down and clutches its leg, looking as if it is almost ready to collapse.
Jambiya runs down the tree like a squirrel and then begins moving through the grass toward Erric as she raises her new witchy stick. A blast of sickly green electricity extends from the end of the stick toward the gnoll. Unfortunately, the creature bends over in reaction to Maldorn's arrow at just the right time, and her crackling bolt flies over its head and dissipates.
DC14 WIS save: 20
Taking advantage of the gnoll's momentary distraction, Erric leans in and fills the creature's head with psychic magic. It drops its weapons and grasps the sides of its head before collapsing to the ground with a final pitiful moan. (Also, the gnoll you had cast suggestion on was taken out by Anafrey as it was running away.)
Erric looks up at the group, blood streaking down from his neck, and says, "I've never killed anything with a one-liner. Not literally, anyhow. Everyone else alright?"His legs give out from underneath him and he falls to thee ground, sitting, just beginning to catch his breath, staring at the gnoll. He doesn't even immediately begin to search through its pockets for valuables.
"You might be the one who took the hardest knock, Erric." Maldorn checks on the halfling. "Perhaps we should find a proper campsite for the day. Rest for longer than we'd otherwise need."
Unless Erric calls for immediate aid, Maldorn then proceeds to search and collect his arrows. He only finds three of them in reusable condition. He rubs his sore shoulder the hole time, and lights up a cigarette.
Jambiya runs over to the crumpled form of Snap with a whimper, careful of the arrow stuck in him, she cradles the little dragon in her arms. "Snap? Snap..."

Erric, as soon as he sees Jambiya run to Snap, casts healing word on the little dragon friend for 6 hp, unsure if it's in time or not. (Honestly I as the player forgot about poor snap, so if Erric would easily see the pseudodragon in front of him on the road, he would immediately cast it as soon as he had a spare bonus action.
Anafrey would put her bow on her back and move to collect her arrows. "Everyone OK? she asks as she sees her companions gathered around the small dragon.
Erric's magic forces the point of the spear out of the creature's side. It falls to the road as the wound heals completely. The pseudodragon's eyes flutter open. It looks up at Jambiya, who immediately feels a telepathic wash of lingering pain and fear that warms into gratitude and comfort.
Maldorn repeats his suggestion, this time in the form of a question: "Should we call it a day and rest up before continuing on our way? I'm sure Snuggles the Dragonling wouldn't be the only one who appreciates it."
