Erric, you don't see any floating heads in the relief of the bull. The reason the relief seems out of place is because everything up until now has depicted some unusual monster, but this one is of what appears at first glance to be a run-of-the-mill animal.
Maldorn, you know that a gorgon looks like a metal-plated bull. You've heard tales of them. You don't know anyone who has hunted them or taken one down, but you've heard stories of people who know people who know people who have seen them. From what you've heard, they sound fearsome.
"Do any parts of the statues seem moveable, like the buttons and things in the previous ones?" Erric, please be a little more specific about what you're doing, please.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
He's looking for anything that seems like different-colored stone, or something like the tiles that might be able to be depressed or pushed, or even something like that antler that's out of place. A manipulatable option. Also, once again, checking the plaques for any way to move them, or perhaps odd writing or lettering.

"So, any ideas? A cyclops, a big bull, an then the witch, and the werewolf. If the pattern holds, the cyclops and the witch would be first, right? First to do what? Also, what do you think is the deal with the beholder and the small ones back there? He didn't like me goofing with them I don't think. Or he just really doesn't like fart jokes."
"This gorgon doesn't have armor," Jambiya notes after Maldorn's description. "I wonder if we need to give it some... or..." she looks about for anything that might work for that. "Or something," she finishes lamely.

Erric and Jambiya each take a relief, Jambiya inspecting the cyclops while Erric checks the bull. Looking closely, and remembering the puzzles from past rooms, Jambiya intuits that the eye of the cyclops is loose. Similarly, Erric can feel that the bull's head is moveable.
"Raman felled the cyclops, according to the plaque, I think. So the cyclops first. Maybe we can take out the cyclops' eye and get the bull to eat it? Or stick it on a horn? Or somehow try to get it on there? Maybe that's too gross, but they did enlist a bunch of flatulent beholders to guard the place."
How does the bull's head seem moveable? He's not touching anything, still nervous about flames shooting from corners...
Maldorn observes the smalls for now, offering any help he can give.
He then looks at Ebokk: "Do you think it is part of the adult beholders' contracts to train the little ones to take over once their watches come to an end?"
Erric, when you were physically touching the relief, you noticed that the head moved a little when you touched it, but you didn't do anything further with the head to be safe. You know it isn't just another carving like the rest of the relief, but that's all you know for now. Same with the eye. Once Jambiya felt it wasn't secure, she immediately stopped touching it, so she's not exactly sure what can be done to it yet.
Maldorn states the obvious: "I say we follow the order indicated by the plaques."
Then, continuing his conversation with Ebook, he sanswers the dwarf's question with a guess: "They'd maybe earn a better contract for themselves, to begin with?"
"The plaque says that Raman 'bested' the cyclops, and Grath was 'claiming the Gorgon's head.'" Jambiya says. "So, maybe we pluck the eye, then take the head off?"
Maldorn waits a second and, if nothing happens after Erric pokes the eye, he'll try to remove the gorgon's head. IF the eye doesn't move inward, Maldorn will wait for Erric to pull the eye out before fiddling with the head.
Erric pushes the cyclops's eye into the relief, and it clicks, locking into place. After waiting a few seconds and nothing happens, Maldorn pulls on the bull's head. It also clicks into place, angled on a hidden hinge so that the head faces the floor. With the second click, there is another louder clank, and a 10-foot section of the wall opposite the way they entered the room rises into the ceiling to reveal another lighted hallway. As soon as the sound of the door rising ceases, the party can hear the distant sound of splashing water echoing toward them.

Ebokk follows the others into the room to have a look around.
I think those creatures are trapped like we are. Their agreement might be to help trap as many people as they can.
He turns around to see if the creatures are near and with a lower voice says
They cannot be trusted id say.
Jambiya had earlier investigated the relief of the Cyclops, per #3654, fwiw.

Maldorn pokes Erric’s shoulder and shares with him what little he knows about gorgons. It mainly comes down to gorgons actually being bulls.

"Is the cylinder cyclops missing anything? Remember Raman always went first..." Erric says, looking at the cyclops.
Jambiya returns to investigating the cyclops relief. (With her 16 from #3654)

Jambiya relays her find, and backs away to let Jack manipulate the reliefs. "Raman goes first, so we should do the gorgon's head first right?"

Ebokk thinks for a moment then nods. That would explain why they are stuck with the little ones. But what do they get out of it?
He looks around. Not much other then us here.
