The answer was expected, of course, and Aseid just nodded. Still, Dirk's request had to be fulfilled, so, an matter what at least he was going there. "If we are going to the ruins anyway at the morning," Aseid did not mention the reason - treasure - out loud, "we might find the answers to our questions there as well. Looks like now we can only guess blindly."
He thanked the kind hosts again - Maldorn was right, a blanket by the fire is all a traveller needs to rest soundly, and, deeming the conversation over, prepared to get some sleep.
Jambiya is suddenly overcome by a huge yawn. “Oh! I’m so sorry, I’m just, it’s late and we’ve been on the road and it has been a busy day. You are so kind to let us stay, Ebokk’s family continues to be good to us beyond measure.”
She will put her bedroll out and then, as is her custom, ruck it into a nest of sorts, where she will curl up and drop off almost immediately, gripping her spoon tightly.

ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he). Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. I love it so.
Erric's fine to hit the hay -- is there room to cast tiny hut where they are sleeping in such a way that wouldn't disturb the Lockforges? He'd wait till they went to sleep, and wouldn't do it if it would be awkward. Just another layer of protection.
He makes similar, eloquent thanks and apologies to what Jambiya said, regardless.
The hut is ten feet in radius so I assume it’s larger than the room! But my understanding of the spell was that it was a barrier but it could pass through walls, and contain part of the room and walls and house and furniture. If that’s wrong, let’s scrap the idea and no hut tonight!
I did a little reading, and I think your logic is sound. The parts of the house inside the dome would just be in the dome. So, if you want to, you can cast it. The whole room is 15' x 20'. Are you wanting to avoid the Lockforges seeing the dome at all?
Erric didn't want to freak them out, so he'd try to wait until they were asleep to ritually cast it. But if that wasn't an option, he'd just ask if he could sing a little blessing song of protection to help keep the bad spirits away for the night, and cast as a soothing background musical interlude.
Before the Lockforges retire for the night, Maldorn is sure to thank them once again for their hospitality. In this case, he'd rather err on the side of being too grateful, even if their hosts were to tire of hearing so many "thank yous."
The tiny hut is opaque from the outside (any color you choose). It is only transparent from the inside. Unless you created it around them and they didn't leave, they'd see it. And they're sleeping in a separate room.
After a nice rest in the warm, dry home (hit those long rest buttons), the party wakes to the sound of Fenellen tending to the fire again. When she sees you stirring, she smiles and offers you bread, cheese, fruit and juice for breakfast. The bread is chewy, the cheese is sharp, the fruit is only slightly soft, and the juice mostly tastes like water, but is refreshing. The rain has lessened to a drizzle, but has perpetuated, leaving the day dreary. From the window, you can see the occasional traveler moving through the Square. Some are alone. Some pairs move through. Some have animals. Some of the individuals stop into the Cadaver's Arms. You can see that Geth and Munchy are outside encouraging passersby to stop in for something to eat or drink.
"What are your plans for the day?" Adrik asks over breakfast. "More adventuring?"
Maldorn munches on a piece of bread with cheese, making sure to swallow before answering: "Well, first item on the list is to get out of your hair. You have been more than generous with us. We hope to be able to repay such hospitality one day if and when you come to visit us in Seldom Spring."
"You are the most gracious hosts," lowered his head Aseid before joining the breakfast and expanded a bit on old hunter's offer: "Should you need any help, we would be glad to provide it." He glanced at the others not really expecting objections but checking. "Otherwise we might visit the temple while kelemvorites are not there." He added a little question mark at the end. Yesterday it seemed everyone was on board to go to the temple to retrieve the treasure, but Aseid was not sure the group's own errands were done.
Jambiya has busied herself trying to help, and gently being put off by Fenellen. She eventually gives up and just enjoys the meal, chipping in her thanks and welcome. "Any of Ebokk's family will be welcome in Seldom Spring, I'll be sure to tell my dads."
"I think we might visit the temple, there's a mystery there I can't quite put my finger on."

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Erric plays quiet music before and as breakfast is served, smiling and engaging in conversation as appropriate. He surreptitiously leaves a gold piece hidden on a shelf or a piece of nearby furniture to be found later: Sleight of hand 24
He thanks them with sincere warmth and agrees that the temple seems the best bet today, now everyone is better.
Maldorn turns to Erric: "The temple it is, then. That settled, wouldn't you want to send word to your old gnomish lady friend or her caretaker about what happened here. They'd want to know we managed to at least talk to one of the sons. Or was it a cousin? Anyhow, I am sure they won't like to know they claimed having no business affair with her."

Anything to add, Erric? Or are you ready to hit the hay, so to speak?

The tiny hut will not fit in the room unless all the "sitting" furniture was pushed to one side.

Jambiya snores quietly from wherever she has settled, either in front of the hearth or in Erric's magic hut.

So, not knowing how long the Lockforges sleep, how are you going to attempt to dispel the hut before they wake?
Erric would have included them in the spell - they can come in and out if it. He made it transparent, so he’s not sure they’d even know it was there…

Got it, yeah, Erric holds off on the hut.
