The spot looks like a handfull of grass got pulled out, you see a bit of loose earth around, but nothing speacial. There is some dirt on the door of the outhouse and when you look inside, you can see a bunch of grass and herbs down a dark hole swimming on top of a very smelly mix. Naturaly there is not much light down there and it is to deep to make out details. You are small enought to climb down there if you dare though ( and if you got a rope).
Otrov tries dropping something down there - she doesn’t have “to go” yet (lol) - but maybe a rock or something to see what’s there if anything.
She tells Margret her intentions. She is real curious about what is there. She does have a rope but as above she’ll try to drop a few things down there - something alive if possible - before she thinks about dropping herself off at the pool, so to speak.
Karasym gives Margret a deadpanned look, as much as a flying snake can express any emotion, and then flies out and above to rest atop the outhouse. By any onlooker standards, it appears either lost in thought or curious about some random nearby building. But in truth, assuming it was within reach of Nobody, the two would share at least a brief telepathic conversation before its body slumps in defeat.
Whether or not it's able to reach out to the tiefling or not, when it returns to the human and halfling's side, he gives them a long look. Then depending on if within 100ft of the tiefling, its eyes go black before it flies down the hole after having held its breath.
(As a small reminder, it has no dark vision, but it has 10ft blindsight for what it is worth.)
Nobody, you are around 100 ft away, so you can communicate and watch (not going to bother if it is 90 or 110 ft)
Nobody you will see the same as Otrov: It is a very smelly and disgusting mix down there. You see a bunch of riped out grass. But in one corner, mostly submerged in slurry, you notice a single foot sticking out of the dung. Size wise it belonged to a medium sized humanoid. It has more of a sturdy look to it.
Otrov winces in anticipation of what she knows will happen. She’s the smallest and coolest and everyone is depending on her (mostly Margret). “Okay, tie me off and lower me. I’ll try to secure it with this other end. Wait - can someone clean me off afterwards? I mean, unless I’m eaten by a shit monster? Hey! Would a shit monster start out down here? Or move gradually? Huh. Anyways,” and she’ll throw the two ends to Nobody and Margret and start down in the hole.
As soon as Karasym/Nobody had eyes on the foot, the latter of the pair breaks the connection with a final message that would spur the familiar out of the whole and scanning the village from on high once more. By the time Karasym reaches a high enough point, Nobody is scrambling to get his things together, and get OUT of the Inn as soon as possible. Once outside... once outside he'd take a moment to catch his breath, and actually process the spark of insight in mind before rushing to Margret and the rest's position.
"There's another one!" He'd call as soon he's in sight of the duo(trio?). "There's another on the loose!" Is added between breaths.
(Holding off on saying more in case something would happen to Nobody enroute.)

You use Otrovs crowbar to anchor the rope between the door and the frame, it wouldn‘t be the best solution for a Dragonborn or a Goliath, but for the Halfling it will do without a doubt.
Otrov, you slowly climb down watching the muddy surface below you for any movement, but everything is still. The pit is around 10 ft in diameter and you are of center towards 6 o,clock. The foot is towards 3 o‘clock around 4 ft away from the rope.
Everyone with a familiar roll me a d20 please, i assume all three are still flying over the village.

Otrov eyes the outhouses dubiously and with a bit of trepidation, but she’ll go to Investigate the unusual spot - Investigation- 23
She will also bite the bolt and check both outhouses and discern if there is anything interesting or of note in the holes.

Margret looks on with disgust at the thought of someone climbing into a crapper and shakes her head
"No"
she picks a single blade of grass and cast light on it and drops it down the hole

Dain's familiar would be with him, it would have returned after that first time outside and have been with him since.
If you still need the d20 then... 1
She wonders if anyone else ever cast light into an outhouse hole.....

Margret, you completely ignore the stink from the bottom of the hole, but you don‘t spot anything unusual.

(Nobody is back at the Inn)
"I don't think a carrion crawler can fit." Margret replies
Margret grabs the other end of the rope and looks for a anchor
"Why are you going in there?"
