Is it attached to a leg? Is there only one? How reachable is it?
Margret looks around for a likely pole to attach a rope to
"I need a ten foot pole so I can tie a rope to pull the dwarf out. Nobody can you move mud with that spell? If the monster you said the Nothic told you about is still in Phandilin and hopefully has not seen us, do this!"
She thinks for a second
"We somehow need to get all the dwarves in one area. If we can't discover the identity of this one. We are going to have to get every one in our group together also, for safety"
once a pole or equivalent stick is found she ties a hangman's noose and tries to retrieve the body if there is one.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Nobody never deems to answer Otrav's question; especially after the pun, which under better circumstances he might've at least chuckled. Once he was truly set to work, it all became quite a serious matter for him. But would it draw attention? Likely. Did he care either way? No. Either the one responsible for the corpse would run away if they should know, or remain blissfully ignorant. Regardless of which the case may be, little thought is spent actively on the subject during the escvataion.
And after it, he wanted nothing more than to finish climbing out of the pit. But at Margret's last request, he sighs and would at least devote a few minutes more towards clearing out what earth and sludge could still be cleared out around the leg and body that can be done so saftely. Then if anyone ELSE had rope and looped it up good, he would mage hand it over a leg for Margret and the rest to pull taut and start pulling. "There's probably not all that mean dwarves. S-seen more halflings and humans. Which m-means... o-odds are this could be one of the missing brothers, e-even. Gundren's brother, if..." He trailed off from there, just shakes his head, and is soon again crawling out the pit.
With a thought, he sent again Karasym the urgency to keep a closer eye on things about the time, flying by windows if necessary. And if that meant going outside his telepathy range for a brief while then so be it.So long as he noted the passage of any dwarves in the area; Gundren included.
In a combined effort you manage to put a rope around the foot and you manage to pull the body out of the slurry. It was a female dwarf. She was wearing some light under garment or night dress when she was dumped down there. The body is swollen, bloated and discolored, but it is reasonably save to say that before you lies the corpse of Grista, the Owner of the Sleeping Giant Taphouse.
Because of where the body was dumped, it is hard ti make out details, but it seams as if the back of her skull is broken. Takeing into account that she was a dwarf, this is remarkable. Beside that, it is to hard to tell.
"Well guess we best be getting the sheriff to look into this." Dain says with a frown at the dwarf woman. He glances to the others. "I'll go to get him, someone want to go with?"
Nobody just nods in agreement. He needed to wait for Karasym to return into message range for his report anyhow, so in the meantime, began restructuring the excavated earth into short barricades about the pit. Just in case things yet proved more direct with a much larger force at play in town.

Otrov looks at Nobody wistfully, I always loved making sand towers when I was young.... She gets an idea - "Hey! Think you could sculpt one of me? Hold on, hold on," Otrov strikes a magnificent pose with The Prick in both hands, looking absolutely terrifying (in her own mind). Be the Viper, Be the Viper. Without moving, she speaks out of the corner of her mouth, "How is this? Is it okay? Are you getting this? How long do you need? Nobody? Is anybody there? Err, is Nobody there? Do I look good? Hey do you think all the kings had to do this too? You know, when they get their statues?" She gasps aloud, "Hey! Will we have to do this too when we get really famous? What should we be called? How about Otrov and Nobody's Business? Oooh, how about The Prick's Chicks? Well, not everyone is female I guess...hmmm, what do you think Nobody? Nobody?" Wizards sure don't talk much...
Dain will frown at Margret's plan. "If you think that is needed..." he says. He will send Sabastian off to the sheriff, with instructions to get him here by whatever means necessary.
An already startled Nobody could only give Otrov a dumbfounded look. Which then eventually leads to him growing flustered at all the questions to follow. Out all of which, the 'Do I look good?' leaves him truly staring wide-eyed and perhaps even blushing beneath that obsidian skin. The stupor it in fact leaves him is powerful enough that it took hearing his name a couple of times to finally sake out of it. "Wha-what? Uh-uhm... mmn... well... i-in reverse order, uh... I'm not sure about either of those names, or what we'd call ourselves. I-I'm not sure about us getting statues, though I-I wouldn't be surprised, as-su-ssuming we got so famous. I know at least a number of kings did have to do these, er, that sort of thing before, and--"
He hesitates, realizing what the next answer would be, and so looked away pretending to focus on shaping a mound in Otrav's image. "Y-you look very pretty --A-and, uh, I'm here, clealry, and I should only need a minute or so to, well... *ahem*... yeah.. whichever pose feel best for you should be fine."

If you want to create an earth statue of Otrov, please roll me an arcana check to see how well you manipulated the spell.
Margret, you send Marco high up in the sky, from where he can watch the whole area (roll me a perception for him please). You carefully approach the front door and knock, only to realise that the door is not locked. You carefully open it an inch. Everything seams quiet inside.
Well earth is not the best medium and the spell is not really made for sculptures, but you do manage to create a female halfling in Otrovs pose. The details are a bit lost though and you already need to know who it is supposed to be to recognize any resemblance.
Dain will again help anyone working to carry the body out of the hole, sending a rope down and helping to pull on the rope as the body is lifted out.
Is it attached to a leg? Is there only one? How reachable is it?

She shakes her head
"This could of been Grista, Nobody or one of the two miners I heard was in town. Just don't go telling everyone let's talk to Sildar first"
she says as gently pulls on the rope, testing it.
"Garaele said she can cast a spell to determine the truth"
Then she decides to poof Marco to her side to find out what he has seen

She points to the Sleeping Giant
"This body looks to have been here more than a day."
"Dain lets go to the front and I'll knock on the door send our familiars to watch the other two sides of the building
Nobody and Otrov you stay back here and keep watch. If you see anything strange like Grista coming out the back... Whatever you do stay together"

Otrov takes her crowbar and rope back stows it away, then gives Margret a salute. She readies her Prick for any unpleasantness.
