[You small, and I also small. But I made all out of rage. Rage as big as anything. Here and now, I a goblin made of goblin stuff. All squishy and small with tiny bones and big feelings. But when the rage comes, no room left for fear or hunger or pain. Only rage. I wear it like armor and swing it like sword.]

"Me no rage....me fear" signs Twiglet
When he calms down, he will help to search the dead goblins...maybe he'll find something the others miss, as he knows the hiding spots (unless goblins have a different place to hide things!)
Twiglet finds hidden in various pockets and pouches on the dead goblins some gold teeth, several rings, a necklace with a dark stone and a handful of copper pieces. The hoard is worth 13GP 7SP 6CP (or 1376 CP as 1GP == 10SP == 100CP)
XiaoLong is worried about Twiglet's reaction but wants to get on with the journey. There's still some distance to cover. He's going to be alright, with Ro taking care of him.
"Gundren, Sildar, have you heard about this clan and would you know why they were after you ?"
Humblodt whistles at the hoard Twiglet has uncovered. That is some significant coin for an indisciplined band of raiding goblins clad in cast off garb. Either they have seen some rich pickings of late, or else they have been paid well. He expresses this opinion to the others.
He is also uncomfortably aware that the encounter could have easily gone much worse, but keeps that to himself.
"I have not XiaoLong, but Nundro did mention in his letter that supply wagons to Phandelin were being attacked. We might have found those responsible. As to why they targeted us, if I had to guess, someone believes Gundren's story about the Lost Mine and seeks to claim it for themselves. They may also be behind Iarno's disappearance and don't want me asking questions." SIldar pauses in thought, then asks the captured goblin "If you have been capturing wagons, what have you been doing with what you take?"
The goblin replies "Take things to lair. Klarg the Magnificent take best shiny things for himself and we get rest to fight over. Then send things to rest of clan at castle."
Twiglet awkwardly accepts the hug...but is privately wondering how killing goblins to getting hugged by one happens so quickly....and that there must be some compelling reason why Ro is happy in her rage and happy to kill other goblins without any apparent regret
So the goblin can not hear him Tallanvor adresses the group,
"Light willing there be naught else in store fer our party along this route. Tis not likely whoever set this trap for Gundren has anything else in store for us.
If these goblins have this much coin, like as not they have been attacking near as not erry traveler that comes down this road. We should find out the location of this lair or set this goblin free and follow him back to his lair. Klarg the magnificent should be stopped. We be bound by honor to the light to put an end to this."
"Tallanvor is correct. We cannot allow this lair of theirs to remain, especially so close to Phandelin. I would very much like to accompany you and help clear it out. However I do not think it is wise for us to take Gundren with us. We both still have bounties on our heads with this clan and he is no adventurer. We got lucky this time. I do not wish to tempt fate. If it is alright with you all. I will accompany him to Phandelin, secure him safe lodging to recover, then catch up with you."
Ilduarana notices some branches in the thicket on the side of the path look broken. As she moves them out of the way and steps pass them she finds a well worn path covered in goblin tracks leading off into the forest.
"Less than 20 at the lair including Klarg the ..." It pauses for a second, "Fantastic? He Bugbear. More at Castle. It further in forest. I never been there. Only heard from messengers. That where strongest and smartest are. Maybe 30 there? We have many traps on path to cave, pits and ropes. Also secret guard post at entrance and mighty flood to wash out invaders."
"Will Gundren be able to make it to town safely unaccompanied? Twould be unwise to tackle the goblins without our combined might. 20 do sound manageable twere they taken in small groups. Twould be another story to storm a castle."
He directs his question to Sildar.
"We may need to rest to regain our strength before taking on the main force. Can your friends wait at the forge whist we root out these goblins?"
"I think I can survive the ride to town, but I am likely to collapse into the first bed I see. I will deliver this wagon to Barthen's, then locate somewhere to stay. You can bring the other when you clear out the bandits." Gundren looks at SIldar, smiling weakly, "Don't worry Sildar, I will try to keep a low profile in case those Redbrand thugs are around."
"If you say so, Gundren. I agree that we could use a rest, but I do not think we can wait too long here. They may wonder what is taking the raiding party so long to return and come to investigate."
A short rest is about an hour, a long rest is around 8 hours. You can have as many short rests as you like in a day. A long rest usually ends the day. You can click the short or long rest buttons on the character sheet if the group agree to have one. Just remember that time passes while you are resting, so other things can happen. For example if you have along rest now, the goblins will get curious about what happened to their friends and sending another group to have a look.

Ro pulls out a pencil and scrap of paper and hastily scribbles a note. She taps Tallanvor on the arm and passes it to him. It reads:
"Ask him how many goblins in his clan. Also ask about traps. Goblins big fan of traps."

They come through this path... Should we follow?
Twiglet gradually comes closer to the conversation, his arms wrapped tightly around himself in his oldest self-comforting manner.
Sniffing away some last tears, he looks at the others. “If you asked me, I think this goblin is being a bit too...free with the information.”
