Liadon places his right hand on the edge of the counter, casually leaning forward, as his left hand reaches under the vest of his fancy attire. He places down six gold coins into two small piles. Smiling at the orc, he pushes one pile of three coins forward. "For your services," he says kindly.
He makes the paper disappear behind his back. As he slides the other pile of three coins forward, the smile disappears from his lips and his silver eyes stare deeply into hers. His voice becoming cold & succinct, he leans further forward deliberately and states flatly, "For your silence." {Liadon Intimidation: 7}
As quickly as his smile disappeared, it returns, warm and genuine. "Thank you, my dear lady, for your assistance. Should I be in need of further materials, I will surely return to your establishment as well as sing your praises to anyone in need of your wares."

Dordis takes some effort to look for the seals, but eventually overcomes the tapped-out exhaustion and familiarizes himself with the triplicate seal design. Almost retroactively however, Dordis begins to mutter under his breath while reading, incessantly speaking on how he wishes to see Soltris once more and be within his comfort as a friend and apprentice. Eventually, he fixes his slumped posture while turning to the caretaker and saying, "It is by honor as the heir of the Droshiya estate in Faksimile that I am willing to come within the safety of your library," Dordis angles his body to bow slightly before continuing. "if there is any more knowledge I may possible to achieve, I will myself to be a decent citizen of the authority, of which I will tell you if there will be any complications and so on." Dordis winces for a moment at the cookbook before stowing it away and writing down a footnote on the green leather notebook. Dordis seems quite spent, yet his posture, tone and expression seems to hold regality despite not looking like a noble.
Orina and Jogs (Bunny Battalion) | Road to Cordivae
"Revenge?" Orina squeaks. She frowns, thinking hard about what Grr Grr said. "People don't usually says things like that unless a great wrong was done to them first. But... usually when people say that, it ends badly for them, and their families, or tribes, or neighbors... it kind of makes this neverending cycle of people trying to get the last word in, and usually with violence. And I know that sometime's it's necessary, but it isn't always right."
She studies Grr Grr intently. "I know you wouldn't say something like that unless you had a really, really good reason to feel that way. You know you can always share that burden with us. Sometimes talking about things with your friends makes it easier than bearing it all out alone. I feel a lot better after having told you all a little more about me!" She smiles at the gnoll reassuringly. "But if you can't share your secrets, we'll still be your friends anyway. And I hope you'll consider that sometimes, the best revenge is to be nothing like the people who injured you in the first place."
"Work? Well, I suppose I don't have much of a choice. Well, I do live in blueport, but boats aren't exactly-" he notices the wink- "Oh...I see, er...this work doesn't involve, how do I put this...if it's about you know, ferrying your passengers, a cruise for two, giving canoe rides? I'm not that kind of wizard, and I certainly am not intrested in any seafaring with you, if that's what you are getting at." You overjudge the lean on the cart a little, but manage to maintain your posture. Luckily whatever you drank made you pretty dizzy in the head, but not that sick, unless you just want to hurl in the back of this cart for the heck of it...it does sound pretty funny at the moment but then again, so does everything else.
Honour tilted her head and laughed lightly... "Oh my good sir, If you think I'm a harlot, you'd be most mistaken.. I'm merely a deckhand, looking for a crew to sail with" She adjusted her stance so that she didn't place her full weight on the cart so as not to look the fool should it move unexpectedly. "I did however come across a lead, but if your interests lie elsewhere, then feel free to pursue them." she grinned and stifled a belch. "If ye would care to accompany me to this lead, then let us be about it. If not, ye might attempt the tavern down that way.. I believe it's called the "Findtheway Inn" And with that, she proceeded down the road, head upon a swivel, searching out the shop that housed this "Mungam."
Xamodas feels a wave of fatigue, and while it appears he is just drifting to sleep, it feels more like your mind being forcibly punched out of your body. You feel your body hit the sand of a beach and skid for several feet. You feel like a gith again, but you suppose it's just because you are back in your own mind. You can see the scene of the hill drifting away from you as you look up into the sky. MOTHER's voice reaces your ears. "I am sorry, were it anyone else, this would have been much simpler...you did what you could, from here whatever happens, happens; you are bound only to your previous favors...but, if you could ensure that she does not come to harm, from the bottom of my heart, I would be thankful."
Nae grabs the lid of the box, nails spltting causing splinters to fly off in all directions, you cast the lid aside, and in a flash of light the contents of the coffin are revealed.
It is empty.

Zacharias is told "Ah, yes, it's easy to a keen eye, they way they hold themselves, the fact that you don't need to abide by certain natural laws. Do tell me about him, he must be very important to you."
Dordis is simply told by the Caretaker. "Yes, you are free to go there, but as I said, don't make any attempt to leave the jurisdiction without our order, oh, and do enjoy the festival why you are here."
Leshanna does a full 180 and walks back into frame. "Ah, horses to water." says the Caretaker. She reaches into her coat, and pulls out and stack of bills, and hands one to you. "Here, this is a bond, worth 10 GP here when used to purchase goods and services, and can be redeemed at the end of the festival for 5 GP. You can redeem it at a comfortable Inn for room and board for the entire festival.
"I can offer everyone one bond, just to be fair. As for any reward, well...technically, you all need to earn that as a group, there is an area in each district where a Caretakers sit and deal with jobs, info, and requests. Another name for us Caretakers are Crows, so, the locals call these stands are called "Crow Bars". Oh, and there is also "The Crow Bar", which is a tavern where we like to rest our feet, so I'd you all meeting back there in a day or to see if everything's been processed."
"Also, if it's not too much trouble, I'd like one of you to keep an eye on this lady here (Azorha). I left my post back at the musuem, and have two unconcious schmucks that need to be detained so I can figure out if she is in on it. Tried to rob a precious artifact that we don't even have up yet. I can reward extra for whoever takes that offer."
((Oh, and for christ sake, before I forget at this hour, it's like, a months supply of jerky, like, it absolutely lines his pockets and pouches.))

Faksimile - Temple District:
Ulrich: Thus it spins, to where else, but symbol 13, XIII, Death. "So, your goal is to bring things to an end, whatever it may be, and so shall that be your power. Not to be bestowed, but merely found, as you wish, for what you wish for. So long as you remain true, this power is your own." The circle begins to glow, and light envelops you, you can see a fire within you burning, and you here the strangest thing, like a song all of your own.
Ulrich now has the following feature:
Soul Symphonic: Come, Sweet Death: When you deal damage with a cleric spell, you may choose to double its damage and overcome resistances and immunities by expending an encounter point. In addition, you may expend an encounter point so that you and all allies within 120 feet of you deal damage to an undead or nonmagic flesh creature will destroy them instantly based on the threshold of your destroy undead feature for the next minute.
However, these features cannot be used against a creature that knows your true name or something significant about you, and everytime an enemy speaks aloud a different fact about you that you can hear, you lose an encounter point, and if this has been done a number of times equal to your total number of encounter points, you can't cast spells until you finish a long rest. In the case of a very, very significant fact, such as a past failure, the name of a loved one or relative, or some truth you choose to ignore, you may instantly lose the ability to cast spells. ((Although, I will say this is mostly for flavor, unless you are up against a very smart enemy, or maybe other players))
You use this feature by spending"Encounter Points" which are normally equal to half your level, rounded down, and are restored after a short or long rest, or after rolling initiative against a signifiicant threat (enemies with big ol' health bars). There are other features you may acquire that use encounter points, and draw from this shared pool.
However, before everything fades, you see a vision.
A skeleton, a hoard of vines and colorful flowers grow around it, causing it to rise. You are in a city full of people. The skeleton raises it's hand, vines grow from all around, then it slams it down, and everything is destroyed.
You are back at the temple, the head cleric and her handler watching you. "Ah...you survived." she says "That means you are ready to face whatever may come your way...Whatever She chose you for, I know She did not choose wrong."
Resolve:
Voldred: All of your stuff is there. You both walk silently together, until you reach a building built on the base of the tower, it has a red rose painted on it. You both head inside, it is bustling with loads more people than you thought. The cloaked figure stops by the door and glances around, up, left, right. Your not even sure how he does any glancing through that mask. Before you go anywhere, he stops you. "You." goes his deep voice. "Your next question is going to be 'Where does one find some work around here?' isn't it? Unfortunately, the answer is 'Talk to me.'. I'll be upstairs."
Corvidae - Market:
Iam stops a tiefling on the street for directions.
The orc shopkeep teakes the hold, giving a nervous swallow upon taking the second pile. As you head out, Liadon is stopped by someone person with brass armor and a brass mask "Excuse me, which way to the temple district?" they ask.
The Vilemind:
Yaw: "Strange, but...nothing is impossible, but I just don't know what it is. The job was something about, I don't know, a maker, a designer or something." You don't see any damage down here, but you do recall that armor hand it's gauntlet smashed into the pillar back upthere. Your not sure if this thing is hollow or not, it might just have very thick walls. You walk along the platform you can barely see (there are catwalks just below the waters surface), as close to the glow as you can While holding the bone, your hand does not catch fire, but as you part the water aside, it glows, and then stays parted even when the spell ends. It looks like there is some kind of cord sticking out from it.
Road to Corvidae:
Orina and Jogs (Bunny Battalion):
Grr shakes his head. "Understand. Revenge burden. My burden. You try carry, burden crush. Not strong enough. Lost everything, don't want lose you." He grasps his tooth necklace tightly, very tightly, so much that they pierce his hand and leave red stains behind. "Lost, but not gone. Revenge only way."
Hainsley whispers to himself. "hmm. revenge is a purpose too, then...I'd hate for that to be mine."
Greenport:
Honour: "I'm still not sure if you are serious are not, but I suppose bumbling about in a tavern won't be of much use, so I'll stick along- just as long as it doesn't involving any swabbing." You eventually walk around, and find a building with a sign that says. Mungam, Private Investigator. The wizard stops as you do. "What, doing research into martial affairs or something? If I wanted to be working with dirty laundry, I'd've gone to that Inn you were talking about.
And ah, what the heck, make a Con save, just cause.

The Vilemind: (Thanks for the reminder about the hole up top! I completely forgot!)
Yaw: "It worked! Rattles, if we're holding on to one of these bones, I think that we can cast spells! see how the water is holding its shape though? I'm not the one doing that. There is still more to be understood about this place"
I reach out as far as I can to get a hold on this cord and taking a closer look into what exactly it could be. Investigation: 18
I pick a handful of bones. I can only imagine that it used to be some sort of claw. It isn't difficult for me as I break it into its pieces, pocketing the knucklebones and tossing the rest.
If I can't reach the cord, I climb back up the column to the power room. The armored man is still standing there, just as menacing as the first time I laid eyes on him. What an evil man to destroy an entire ship dedicated to saving a species. I suppose I can never know his true motives but I can do my best to rectify the damage he's caused. I grab onto his gauntlet and yank it free from the pillar.
"Rattles! Come on back up here! I think I can fix this!" Once Rattles has joined me, I reach into my pocket, holding the knucklebones, and cast a mending spell on the broken portion.

The Astral Beach
Xamodas spits into the sand. He was in his astral form once again, but it already felt like it fit wrong. Red Dragon and MOTHER had changed him, and such a change was not easily reversed. Not by him. He lurches to his feet and shouts into the sky. There was no face to spit into, to rage against, to scream at, but the fire within him burned just as much as the inferno in his chest had during the fight.
"I cannot," he insists, defiant. "Once, I would have accepted this favor. This bargain."
"Fear. Confusion. Desperation. Indignation. Determination."He recites the list dutifully, at first, but there is vitriol in his tongue. Not hatred for MOTHER, but for defeat. Once again, defeat. Once again, he had tried to do what he had been asked. Once again, he had been punished for it. Memories of years long past stirred in him, stoking the forge of rage. "Above all else, I was fedwrath. This cretin ignored my warnings, attacked me, deprived me of the gift I was given, and I'm supposed to prevent her from harm? I'd do her a favor to send her to you. More merciful than whatever fate she'd blunder into otherwise."
A small part of him was pulling at back of his mind, warning him that, even though she was waning, this entity could revoke his gift. But that voice had been sacrificed the moment he agreed to MOTHER's terms. It was a small child, trying to hold the reins of a maddened stallion.
Voldred looks at the man, thinking about all the ways he could respond to someone who presumes to assume his actions, but after a few seconds Voldred decides to just stay quiet for now and find the man upstairs. Once he does, Voldred will say:
"Actually, my next question was going to be either "how much for a meal?" to an innkeeper or "are you sure it's a good idea?" to a mugger. But now that I'm here, my next question is...what's your offer?"
Zacharias smiles warmly. "For years, I have served Perseverance, seeking his wisdom and looking for ways to ease the pain and suffering of others in his name. For you see, he brings healing and comfort to the hurt, the broken-hearted, and the troubled. He wishes for all to be whole and content. For only those who are, may truly help others be the same. Here on this mortal soil, it can be difficult to know for sure whether you are doing the will of Perseverance. But if you are following his will and staying in constant communion with him, he will make his will known to you. I recently had the extreme honor of talking with Perseverance in person. It was an amazing experience. And now, I have returned to continue my work in his name: healing the sick, protecting the innocent, and spreading the word."
Dordis shows an expression of interest at the mention of a festival, before pressing themself to remember the reason he came to Corvidae in the first place. Mustering his composure, he looks up in a form of second-hand nobility to the rest of them, and then calms their thoughts before replying, "Well, I do think it would be wise to rest for the day before we go any further? Where is a suitable inn we may all recuperate in if possible? A comfortable lodging for the night would be greatful for what we had to face today—" Dordis trails off his voice as his mind comes back to Soltris, having to wince some of that self-resentment and regret pushes him to focus. "Perhaps after that, we may visit this 'Crow's Bar'? I have a person to investigate of their missing status." Dordis examines the jerky for a moment, and then takes a small munch out of one of them in the obvious sense of hunger while looking up to the sky. Dordis' mind shifts to some memories of his time with Soltris, including those waning moments with his father. Dordis always viewed his father as too overbearing and protective, often feeling that his shadow as a great researcher and mage in the wizard's college Glanyrafon always follows him.Father was always quite different in his form of affectione, care, and perspective, as opposed to Soltris... The thought continues for a moment in some of his own silence.

Chloro Hills:
Wagon Park:
Everyone else...in this post also...

Determination." He recites the list dutifully, at first, but there is vitriol in his tongue. Not hatred for MOTHER, but for defeat. Once again, defeat. Once again, he had tried to do what he had been asked. Once again, he had been punished for it. Memories of years long past stirred in him, stoking the forge of rage. "Above all else, I was fed wrath.
Another medical problem. Indefinite hiatus. Sorry, all.
Resolve:

Dordis Falthenfyern
