Seeing the fighter brave a flurry of strikes, Nenne darts into the room, grabs his arm, and pulls him backward out of harm's way. She arches her spine as the gargoyle bites into her shoulder as she passes, but she manages to wrench out of its jaws without endangering Allister further.
"Leave the gargoyle to the troll! The real enemy is the one we cannot see," she says through the pain. "I can put up a mighty shield, but it may hedge you all out as well. Keep that invisible thing in this tunnel and stay away from the large creatures!"
Seeing his arrow not being as effective as he had hoped, Glimbul reluctantly moves closer to get within range. Hiding amongst the chaos in the hallway, he throws his dart into the neck. It seems to stick well and see the pain on his face.
The gargoyle is clearly wounded as it desperately tries to get through Allister and away from certain destruction. Using its massive body like a battering ram it charges forward, but it can’t gain enough momentum to barrel Allister over. Instead it finds its skull pierced by the flaming blade and staggers a step back. Allister jumps up and forward, stabbing the rapier into the gargoyle‘s throat. Its howl of pain is stopped as black blood fills its windpipe and it finally collapses on the floor
The troll lodges itself into the passage snapping fruitlessly at Allister madly. The little stumps of its arms are definitely frowing back, but they are far from complete.
Boosey tries once more to fire a crossbow bolt, this time at the troll. Again, his hands get in the way and he pulls the shot, missing completely. He closes the gap between himself and Glimbul
Allister hacks and slashes at the troll that advanced towards and scores solid hits with the rapier, leaving deep burning wounds. It falls to the ground once more and he slashes the cutlass across the giant’s face
The Chultan man, the one that ran away from the fight quiet some time ago, arrives slowly but obvious to the party. Cowering behind a wall while the gnome casts his ritual, the man begins speaking in a weird dialect. He raises his hands showing he has nothing in them, but violently shakes in fear. It is obvious he will run if showed any aggression whatsoever.
Nenne steps in front of Boosey protectively, holding out a palm in a pacifying gesture toward the frightened man. "We mean you no harm if you mean us none," she says in Common, trying to look as self-controlled and reasonable as she can.
She cocks her head as if listening to something and says over her shoulder, "Moa says he seeks sanctuary. He is confused." She pauses, brow furrowing. "Allister, when you were trapped in the mirror, did this man cause you any harm?"
Once the hut is cast and the party settled, Boosey looks at the Chultan with a fair amount of suspicion. Not understanding a word, he sighs and begins another ritual, this time to cast comprehend languages, and after another ten minutes or so he's finished.
Once the spell is cast, he turns to the Chultan. "Can you understand me now?" He doesn't wait for an answer. "If you can, tell us your name, friend, but give me some time to rest first. There is something else I have to do in the mean time."
With his hands almost like cloven hooves, Boosey struggles to pull out his flute from his pack. Eventually he gets it free, then looks between the instrument and his hands, cursing softly. Experimentally, he places his fingers over the keys on the instrument and tries to play, a few airy notes and squeaks coming out of at first. He then shuts his eyes and carefully begins to play a very simple melody, something simple and recognisable. Once he has stopped he turns back to the Chultan.
"I think we would all hear your story now. How did you come to be in that mirror with all of those others?"
The man, who looks to be young- mid twenties at the most- yells and stampers as his eyes go wide, "N- no harm! I- I mean no harm!" After Nenne's question to Allister, he yells, "No harm! I- I caused no harm!" The man gets no closer, however falls on his rear when trying to explain himself. He cowers and covers his head, thinking harm is to come.
As the gnome leaves, the man hurries to introduce himself. "My name is Biff! Biff Longsteel! I- I mean no harm! I was trapped as the same as the rest of them! I swear! I... I can't remember how I got stuck... I swear on my life!" Hyperventilating, the man tries to calm himself down. "I just want to leave! I don't care what is going on, I just want to be out of this place!"
Boosey looks like he will explode for a moment, and as he stands, face like thunder, he gains control of himself taking deep breaths and closing his eyes. "Just...just sit there," and he points to where the man is sitting, "and don't move, don't even twitch. Anything untoward, and you answer to him," and Boosey points towards Allister. "Otherwise get some rest. This day has been exceptionally......trying"
Nenne regards the man soberly before lowering her mace. "That is not a wish we can grant, I am afraid. This tomb sealed us in. Our only escape is to defeat the one who rules it. My apologies."
"Also, I am Nenne Amharat, cleric of Kelemvor. Forgive my manners, but what year do you think it is?"
What Boosey says to the man obviously frightens him once more. However, he keeps his ears open and listens to what Nenne has to say. "Wh-what..?" He manages to whisper to himself, trying to calm himself down. He looks to the elf and says, "There is no other way...? Who says? What says? One can always find another exsit-" to which he points to the mirror- "like to that one! I was so scared.... so.... lonely..."

Yet again the troll revives and bites the gargoyle.
Boosey sends another bolt skittering down the passage towards the gargoyle. Once again the clumsy goat fingers make him pull his shot wide.
Seeing his arrow not being as effective as he had hoped, Glimbul reluctantly moves closer to get within range. Hiding amongst the chaos in the hallway, he throws his dart into the neck. It seems to stick well and see the pain on his face.

Its howl of pain is stopped as black blood fills its windpipe and it finally collapses on the floor
Nenne reaches a weary hand into her pack and tugs her blanket free. "Well done, warrior, but stay vigilant. This fight may not be over."
She readies herself to throw the cloth over anything that might strike her or her friends and waits.
The troll lodges itself into the passage snapping fruitlessly at Allister madly. The little stumps of its arms are definitely frowing back, but they are far from complete.

The hallway settles into silence. Everyone is tense for a time just waiting for the invisible creature to show itself, but it never does.
Before anyone can relax, Boosey immediately starts the ritual casting of tiny hut, hoping that the group will be unmolested during the casting time.
Nenne grips her mace and stands ready to strike at anything that might cause harm to her friends.
