Tyde will lead the way down the pillared corridor.
"Follow me! We should stick together and keep moving just in case someone does come to investigate my Talos' greeting."

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
"Shoot, man, sounds good to me. Ain't like we got many directions to go off of aside from looking deeper for folk." Xanranzan replied as he kept to a fairly clipped pace to keep up with Tyde and whoever else would be beside the wizard. "Also, whose Talos? He an old friend of ya'lls that I ain't meet yet, or somethin' else altogether just out of curiosity. 'cause, uh, he might've been a questionable influence on ya bud."

"What's all this about? Are we getting melancholy all of a sudden? I'm not sure what... experience you're referring to, or who I'm supposed to help? And when what happens exactly?" Tyde doesn't follow the thread of the conversation and gets lost entirely so will need references of some kind to understand what's going on.
"Mel-Melancholy?" Kethra just tilts her head. She may know her way around fights, smithing and adventure...but philosophy? She was completely blindsided. The village girl stays quiet and listens to the learned, giving him a placating smile as he urges them to move on.
Marros chimes in responding to Xan's question. "Talos, my rocky friend, is a god from the old days".
The white-haired village girl stays back and quietly listens as the other three talk about religion. She had always been vocal in believing that there's a greater power of good...after all, didn't the village priest always say, "God will look in favor upon all who follows his decrees, from the richest of kings to the one with the cursed soul!"
As Kethra hides her 'cursed' white hair with her hood, she smiles as she remembers her first major encounter with the supernatural. A ghost of a knight, who despite his frightening appearance turned out to be quite the gentleman. And as they rounded the corner to the hallway with the pillars, she suddenly remembered that despite the ghost turning out to be a 'good' spirit, his tomb was being used by that...creature to ambush the party!
Coming to a sudden stop, she practically runs into invisible Rubin, saved by stepping into the torchlight. Nodding at the path ahead, she wordlessly signals him to be at the ready as she scans the hallway.
When you get closer to the pillars, you can see them more clearly. They're actually three tapered obelisks, their sides inscribed with ancient pictographs, standing in a row, their peaks scraping the fifteen-foot-high ceiling. Each obelisk has a gaunt human tied to its base. Around the obelisks, a colored cobblestone mosaic depicts Moradin, a huge warhammer slung over his shoulder.

Rubin hangs back, watching as the others move forward, ready to shoot anything hostile that appears. He is a bit concerned about prisoners tied to these pillars and where their keepers might be. (I assume there is light here yet, so he is not invisible.)
"Oh, right. One of'em Powers. That makes more sense." Xanranzan commented, and for a moment even looked as if he might added more before catching the words and just awkwardly smiling to play things off. The smile quickly fades seeing the apparent prisoners; and, short of Kethra signaling him and the others to avoid approaching, the earth genasi would thoughtlessly fall in after Tyde, ready to offer his waterskin as the wizard undid their binds.

To the tied up human secured to the farthest obelisk, they see a cloaked figure runs up to them, keeping a wary eye from her 21 perception roll. She checks them over and asks, "What's going on here?"
She takes out Reszur to cut the person loose but first waits for an answer before doing so. If they need a medicine check to stabilize them, here's one: 10
"How long have you been strung up here?" Tyde is curious if this was meant as some sort of punishment or to delay any followers.
"This may be a trap or delay of some kind, be wary!" He will call out loud enough for his allies to hear.

Hearing this, Kethra looks over the person in front of her and cringed at the WORST case of dry and flaky skin she's ever seen. But if they could still talk, then not all of their skin would have dried up...
"Oh poor you," she said with sarcasm as a mischievous smile started to form all over her face, "And you probably haven't been touched by anything but the cold stone and chafing ropes aaaaall this time...I can only imagine how this would feel!"
Without warning, she gives the bound person in front of her a tickle right in the armpits. Her quarry's raspy but defenseless laughter joined with Kethra's own mischievous noises would probably make the other tied up people feel a bit more cooperative with talking to the nicer looking people in front of them instead of waiting to see if they'll be the next victim of this seemingly crazy girl. Seemingly.
((lol....so basically this whole post is all flavor for Kethra's Help action to anyone who wants to persuade or intimidate their guy into telling them more about this place or who they're with. Kethra would've positioned this poor victim so that they're facing the others to direct the echo if that counts for anything, and will start attacking if it gets too loud.))

Once the bound made clear their alliances Xanranzan scowled at them and almost immediately backed away, withdrawing the offer of water. Not that any of them would care for their precious ceremony. For all of his initial distaste, seeing Kehtra's antics sort of appeared to throw him off enough to start to feel maybe... bad for them? Conflicted? He at least couldn't put a word to it, and had his face kind of scrunched up from the effort alone. Then, he startles a bit, before taking a more active interest in the interrogation. His hope being to discover signs that the bound were somehow on a little indoctrinated, but recoverable in someway.Apart from that though, he held his tongue while trying to process it all.

Xan just sighs and shakes his head. He called himself trying to piece together some hopeful clues that might suggest helping the bound cast aside their nutty choice. But unable to find anything he didn't dare even bother wasting the words on trying to coax them off the path. So wordlessly he just followed after Rubin and Tyde, and forced himself to avoid so much as glancing the cultist along the way.

As everyone gets ready to move on, Kethra takes one of the strands of rope holding her victim in place to gag their mouth from talking any further, then overlaps the cords to keep the rope nice and taut so it will be difficult to yell for help. She does the same with the next one, leaving the one Xanranzan was Insight'ing for last.
Then catching up to the downcast earth genasi, she hooks him by the elbow before he leaves and tries to cheer him up with a smile. A mischievous smile. "Maybe a little bit of music will get them in the mood for talking? Do you know any songs that lasts close to 1 minute, to keep it quick?" she nods towards Mr. Tyde already moving forward.
Then turning around to the man who is most definitely...definitely-probably a cultist she puts one hand on her ear and asks, "Do you hear that?"
Allowing a few seconds, she lets the initiate hear the sounds of his struggling gagged comrades and she shrugs and continues, "You have to understand, we can't have any of you calling your little music playing friends. I mean, with this you can still breathe to stay alive...so I wouldn't say it's any torture other than what you've already inflicted upon yourselves?" She looks back at Xanranzan and gives him a thumbs up.
"But IF you can't breathe as much air as possible wouldn't that interfere in your weird little initiation?"
Taking the top strand of the rope and inching it closer to his mouth, Kethra switches to a deadpan voice. "We don't have that much time, so you have 1 minute to tell us as much as you can about your...organization. You're not related to the Crushing Wave, are you? And tell us why you set up shop here out of all places."
The Blacksmith smugly tilts her head back to face The Cobbler and gives him a nod. "When my friend here is finished playing his song, time's up."
