Villonah would see Doozey start to smile reassuringly, before then freezing in place almost a split second prior to Taters doing the same thing at his side. A moment later, the stoutling grabs the gnome by the hand, whispering a terse, "Hide" while pulling her into cover within him behind one of the recently shifted barrels. He needed not give the Almiraj the same command, as the beast was on the same wavelength or simply acted on impulse in taking cover across the way from the pair, nuzzling up into the shadows.
Even as some part of him yet doubted having acted swift enough to not drawn at least some attention in their hurry, fear is given no footing, as he focused first a finger to his lips for Villonah's sake, then looked partially away as keen ears tried to keep trace of the noise and a held tight on Apostle; ready to draw and strike in enemy to come and look too closely at their hiding spot.
After taking in the scene within the barracks, the group decides this was an ill-fated side trip after all. Neya regroups with Graxx and Utar and the three leave the room. Yalek stays behind to go get Rhonda.
Once outside, the trio has to hold in a collective gasp. They see the hobgoblin officer commanding one of four subordinates to open the door to the supply room. Two other hobgoblins are still perched on the catwalk, ready to shoot their bows if need be. The one soldier does as commanded, but his reaction upon opening the door betrays no immediate discovery.
Inside the room, Doozey, Taters, and Villonah are all crouching behind some barrels or tucking into some shadowy corner (not hidden, mechanically speaking, but behind full cover.) The commander makes a coded gesture to his subordinates and they begin to move in for a more thorough inspection.
(OOC: I'll pause here to see if anyone wants to do anything in the next two seconds. Otherwise, Doozey's readied attack will trigger very soon.)
"Hey! I already brought you food personally you Hob! You trying to take more than your fair share going in the supply room while we were in the barracks?! Trying to take food from my tribe?!"

Following Graxx's lead, Utar presses his amulet into his hand and says a silent prayer to Torm. Knowing his own talents, he surely needs to borrow some moxie and casts guidance hoping to stifle any light created with his cloak.
Putting his head around the door to the barracks, Utar tries his best to create a voice that might come from any one of them, he hopes.
"'Ere! These 'obgoblins iz tryin' ta pull a fast one! 'Elpin' theyselves to the stores n' supplies we so kindly went an' stole for 'em while theys seen to we're kept locked up like common criminals. I says it's high time for a redistribution of wealth, show these 'obgoblins who's really in charge 'ere!"

(@MB: I'd say that's more of a persuasion roll, or maybe deception or even performance due to the acting you attempted. All of these have just a +1 bonus for Utar, as you mentioned, so your final roll comes to a 10.)
"How dare you?" The hobgoblin officer turns to face Graxx. His voice shows indignation, but his eyes reveal a bit of embarrassment from being caught in the act of snooping. "I owe you and your suspicious set of mercenaries no explanation. Also, aren't you a cultist, mountain man? Why are you doing the work we assigned to the mercenaries? Where is that ogre in chains that belonged to this group?" He pauses, noticing that by asking questions he is indeed giving Graxx a type of explanation. He looks at his subordinates, who have all turned to face Graxx, Utar, and Neya and have at least temporarily lost interest in the supply closet: "Seize them and we'll get our answers!"
Just about then, the doors to the barracks begin opening. Utar's little attempt at sowing intrigue seems to have worked at first, but only Yalek emerges from the other side. Before noticing the group is already in danger, he explains: "Rhonda has refused to come and threatened making a scene if I were to insist."
Remembering that these hobgoblins are known for their archery skills, Neya decides that their archers would take priority. After memorizing where the archers are, her shadow shrinks visibly as a small, inky-black mass gathers in her hand. She then sends it up towards the wall (to CP-54) and where it then blooms to a much larger volume (2 ki points used to cast darkness). Following that, she moves into the nearest shadow (whether if it's the tree's -if its real - or the fort's shadow) and uses it to travel to the edge of the the mass of shadow she created (CP-57).
Reasonably sure where the nearest hobgoblin is, Neya throws a punch in its direction (disadvantage cancelled out by Shadow Step's advantage).
(@Drache: Just to be clear, according to your placement, the darkness sphere covers only one of the archers, and part of Neya after she teleports. The second archer is not within the sphere.)
Neya reacts first, aiming a darkness sphere such that it obstructs the archers's direct line of sight to the fight that is about to break on the ground floor. Knowing that this would be, at most, a temporary hurdle, she then teleports onto the catwalk and swings an arm into the darkness. Although the hobgoblin has no idea the attack is coming, his heavy armor does its job and completely absorbs the punch.
The hobgoblin officer unsheathes an incredibly large sword and points it toward Graxx, Yalek, and Utar. "Whoever incapacitates them will be considered for a promotion." His subordinates yell in response to the additional incentive, and unsheathe their own, less impressive, blades. They all seem invigorated by their leader's words.
OOC: Posting Yalek's turn, which is to be resolved after Utar's.
Yalek peeks at the crescent-and-skull tattoo on the back of his hand. Both the crescent and his eyes flash red for a brief moment. Without moving, the half-orc throws two darts at one of the nearby hobgoblin soldiers:
-> Dart vs. Hobgoblin Soldier {CQ-45}: Attack: 22 Damage: 11
-> Dart vs. Hobgoblin Soldier {CQ-45}: Attack: 14 Damage: 11
Seeking to spread out, Yalek then moves to the side of the barracks {CL-52} and hides. (Cunning Action: 22.)
Knowing his ruse was unlikely to bring the mercenaries to their side, he decides on another way to bring the fight to the hobgoblins. Specifically he hopes to bring some old friends to the fight with the hobgoblins.
Casting spirit guardians, Utar steps forward flanked by his former allies. Tapping Lightbringer against the edge of his shield, he clashes against the hobgoblin at CQ,48.
Graxx roars for Tempus in response to the Hobgoblins' cheers. He takes a step forward and thrusts his long weapon into the closest soldier, puncturing his armor twice. A blast of red-hot, rage-fueled divine energy pops within the hobgoblin's chest plate. He collapses a second later. (Hobgoblin Soldier #4 takes 40 magical piercing and radiant damage and is DEFEATED.)
Utar then overcorrects for the numbers disadvantage and summons four former allies. The hobgoblin officer warns his soldiers: "Block!" but they can only respond so fast (Damage roll: 13):
Grewalt shoots a spectral crossbow bolt at the officer's knee, but it is only a glancing hit. (Hobgoblin Officer takes 6 radiant damage.)
Burga smashes her morningstar against one of the soldier's skull (Hobgoblin Soldier #3 take 13 radiant damage.)
Ilim conjures some holy flames, but they only lick a soldier's arm before he raises his shield. (Hobgoblin Soldier #5 takes 6 radiant damage.)
Abet smashes his greatclub on the ground, sending spectral debris toward another soldier. (Hobgoblin Soldier #6 takes 6 radiant damage.)
Utar joins in the fun, smashing the soldier that had just avoided a full hit from Abet's club. (Hobgoblin Soldier #6 takes 10 magical bludgeoning damage.)
Yalek tries to contribute to the damage-fest, but both of his darts are stopped by a soldier's shield. The half-orc then tries to hide around the corner from some of the hobgoblins.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Upon seeing one too many hobgoblins hit the dirt faster than Doozey can count, the stoutling gives Villonah one last curt nod, and then is creeping forward at a fairly fast pace. As he did so, a thought comes unbidden by conscious effort. He recalled in those last few moments the sylvan phrase inscribed upon the weapon he now wielded, and as if by instinct, said in mind:
'Wird Leben geben, um das Leben zu schützen... Will Give Life, To Protect Life.'
As he did so, he would feel strength briefly leave him as the blade turn red. Yet, he never missed a step, and is soon behind the officer, aiming to catch in the back of the knee twice over. Even when he can't quite do it a second time, he doesn't lose his never, but simply snaps his fingers twice and low to the ground. Out came Taters second later, racing along the wall in a zig zag sort of pattern and anticipation of danger.
Bonus Action: Activate Crimson Rite(Storm) on Apostle, taking 2 damage.
Movement: To CR-46.
Action: Furious Stabbing with Apostle. (Lethal, Hidden?, FF)Shortsword - Attack: 23 Damage: 9 magical piercing to Hobgoblin Officer. (Lethal)Shortsword - Attack: 11 Damage: 17 magical piercing to Hobgoblin Officer.
(@Ori: It looks like you forgot to remove 1d4 from the second attack's non-crit damage roll calculation.)
Doozey decides to go on the offensive and test his new blade. He jumps over the body of a fallen soldier and lands while striking the back of the officer's knee, a famously unarmored body part. The blood-infused magical strike hits like a surprise from the officer's perspective. As he jerks away, Doozey's follow-up strike meets only the metal of the hobgoblin's shin plate. (Hobgoblin Officer takes 12 magical piercing and lightning damage; Doozey takes 3 damage.)
A courageous Taters shows up a second later, ready to dodge any incoming attacks. Almost as if he had done it several times before, the horned-bunny enters Neya's sphere of darkness without any hesitation.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Villonah shrugs and follows the halfling, albeit only partially. She finds a vantage point within the supply room {CS-43}, materializes her bonded crossbow in her arms, and immediately releases a bolt toward the hobgoblin standing in front of Doozey.
-> Light Crossbow vs. Hobgoblin Officer: Attack: 19 Damage: 4
Her bolt finds a different gap in the officer's armor. (Hobgoblin Officer takes 10 piercing damage.)
Neya allows her darkness sphere to fade away while punching the hobgoblin in front of her a few more times. However, the archer is well-armored and the monk is struggling to pack enough force in her strikes to bludgeon the flesh beneath the metal. Noticing this, Neyaprepares for any possible retaliation.
