Moneus also rubs his eyes after the brief episode of darkness took his vision momentarily. Looking to his side, he confirms that Chaab is still in the faulty hiding spot he noticed earlier. RESOLVING REACTIONS
Outside, Neya manages to kick the fleeing drow's haunch. He nimbly avoids most of the impact (using his Uncanny Dodge reaction) and continues running away without much difficulty. (Chaab takes 4 magical bludgeoning.)
Inside, Doozey magically forces Caah to use her muscle memory to throw her warclub at a nearby ally:
-> Tribal Warclub vs. Soldier#6 {EX-17}: Attack: 15 Damage: 16
The puppeteering does not go as well as Doozey had hoped. The thrown weapon only hits the sofa.
Edit:Neya did not have a reaction available at this point in time because she used Slow Fall in her turn.
Noticing that Yalek has managed to slip away, Graxx takes the time to pick up and stow away his weapons. He reunites with his allies in the bedroom, asking if anyone knows where Yalek went. A quick look around the room is enough for the barbarian to conclude that he is not in here.
-> Yes, Rage subsides.
Caah groans on the ground. She is unconscious but at no risk of dying.
Both master and beast parry the first attack aimed and them. Both master and beast reveal an opening in their stance while parrying. Both master and beast fall to a second, deeper slash from their first foe. (Doozey takes 6 slashing damage, already halved. Biscuit takes 18 slashing damage. Both are now unconscious, incapacitated, and prone.)
All four soldiers then advance towards the room's door. One one them decides to dash ahead of the others. A different one decides to attack Aleyd on his way. The captain is now completely surrounded:

Litta is the first one to answer Graxx's question: "Is Yalek the drow elf? If so, he jumped out of the window after Neya."
Hearing the fight sounds just outside the room, the white dragonborn then turns and sees a fallen Doozey. From this distance and with so many soldiers in between her and the halfling, all she can do is to send him a simple Healing Word.
Senetir finally makes his comeback, appearing from the east after taking a turn around that edge of the manor {EZ-24}. He is no longer carrying the boy.
(OOC: It took his whole turn to get there, so he's done for now. He is 50 feet above the grass/ground, which is 45 feet above the porch where Neya is. The angles and the fact that most windows are closed make it so only Neya notices Senetir's approach for now.)
(Doozey, Aleyd, and Utar are up next. Biscuit needs to roll a DEATH saving throw. Doozey is in melee with three soldiers, while Utar is in melee with two. If it helps, the four soldier are now in a row in positions {EV-14}, {EV-15}, {EV-16}, {EV-17}.)

Trusting his shield arm to deal with any incoming attacks, Utar takes a moment to recall what Senetir yelled exactly when he sprung his trap. Utar can't recall any of Team CRAP being fingered by him directly... Seeing a chance to rewrite the narrative, or at least sow a little confusion, he hopes to point the rest of the party towards their most likely escape route.
Hoping the Brokengulf guards and the Black Fist are used to taking orders if yelled out loudly enough, Utar gives it his best shot.
"THE ASSASSINS HAVE LEAPT FROM THE WINDOW! CAPTAIN BURRAL! WE MUST NOT LET THEM GET AWAY, OUR INTEL WAS GOOD BUT WE ARRIVED TOO LATE. BROKENGULF! BLACK FIST! OUT THE DOORS! AFTER THEM!"
Before seeing if his partial ruse works, Utar speaks the words of the prayer he uttered for Neya but louder this time, casting mass healing word for 8 healing for Aleyd, Doozey, Biscuit and Graxx.
(OOC That skill check is rough. Was hoping Utar's soldierly background might make it easier, but I doubt it can be made that easy. If deception, performance or persuasion are preferred as skill checks they are all +1, so that makes the check a 3. Doubt Utar can see Neya, but he can, he would share the heals around.)
"Freaking... Numpties.. these lot." Doozey groans out quietly as consciousness returns to him. Using the marginal distraction that was everyone else still standing, Doozey fishes out a scroll and utters a single word in Sylvan. Although he would feel no stronger after, a peculiar current of wind soon surrounded and comfort him in the knowledge the magic had worked as intended.
After that, he gradually got back to his feet. Instinctively, a hand goes for the hilt of Apostle, but the stoutling refrains from drawing it. Rather he says disparagingly, calling more active attention to himself, "Right Numpties they are. Taking the word of that bird and Zhents after they kidnapped the lordling in front of their faces." He spits out a wad of blood off to the side, then looked up at the men glaring this time.
However following a quick count of their numbers, Doozey's risks a glance Biscuit's fallen form. A scene painful too familiar to the weary soul. And yet instead of breaking down like in the past, Doozey took a breath and looked back to the soldiers. "That's right.. I'm talk'n bout you lot. Now if you'll excuse me.. I got real assassins to round up." He'd say just before his form becomes distorted as if partially made of some living wind and dust. In spit seconds, he runs past a forest of legs into the room of the lord, looks around quickly to see no Yalek, Chaab, or Neya, but spying the open window and no secret doors partially open (hopefully with his passive 20 perception), it takes little to put two and two together.
Seeing no other choices for the moment, and assuming the others hadn't found some other exit all this time, Doozey's form again blurs as he rushes to the window, and if possible climbs down for nearby shrubbery to hide amongst.
(@Ori: Accounting for your speed bonus and difficult terrain, you can go as far as hitting the ground at {EX-13} and staying there after climbing down enough to not take fall damage.)
Doozey stands back up slowly, trying to simultaneously account for the few seconds of the battle that he missed and convince his enemies that they are making a mistake. Once he finishes speaking, a realization comes to Doozey: although the words were clear enough in his head, he must have been still speaking falteringly for a few seconds after regaining consciousness. The message was not delivered effectively.
Saving his next words for his escape plan, Doozey reaches for a spell scroll he almost forgot he had. Upon reading it, the parchment becomes ash in his hands, which are then sucked into the quick, whipping gusts of wind now surrounding the ranger. He rushes by the soldiers as well as his allies, taking a moment to look around the room and deduce that the open window is the most likely answer to the question he formulated in his head. He jumps over, climbs down a bit, and then drops right next to Neya and Yalek. He also spots Senetir high in the sky and approaching from the east.
Although unconscious, Biscuit continues to show signs of life. (DEATH saving throws: 1/0.)
Aleyd is hurt, surrounded, and still glowing. Unable to move anywhere, she decides it is time to stand her ground. She yells: "Go, Leave this place. I'll keep them busy!" She touches her chest with her sword hand a closes as many of her slash wounds as she can. Then, she addresses the faulty defense that has been plaguing her in this fight, at least temporarily. She casts Sanctuary on herself.
-> Aleyd pumps all of her remaining Lay on Hands on herself. (Aleyd heals for 35 HP.)
Before deciding if he is ready to leave the captain behind, Utar pulls a card from his sleeve. He pokes a head through the doorway, simultaneously casting a healing spell on several allies and analyzing the enemies that are still standing. Then, he impersonates something of an officer himself, commanding both allied and enemy soldiers to chase the real assassins.
-> Neya and Doozey are both out of visual range, but the others still benefit from the spell. (Graxx, Aleyd, and Biscuit each heal for 5 HP.)
Unfortunately, most of the soldiers are not exactly trained to make these on-the-spot, join-your-foe types of decisions. They simply continue to follow the latest orders of the leadership figures they know and trust (either Senetir or the Black Fist Officer in this case.) Nonetheless, Utar's words are not entirely wasted. In the back of the cue, the Red Tiefling who was already confused and suspicious of the entire situation takes a moment to reflect...
Biscuit groans and stops moving. (Biscuit takes 8 piercing damage and is unconscious and incapacitated again.)
