"Nice hammer there, that should do nicely. No daggers though 'eh?" Don smirks slightly. "A good nights sleep then how about we go find that dragon and make sure Marav's put to rest."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ink quietly comments to Flint as they're walking, "I'm fully on-board with honoring Marav, but I don't understand the revenge bit against the dragon. Marav sought it out in its home."

If the party decides to rest for the remainder of the day, Ink will spend it at his room in the tavern researching ALL his books, and using comprehend languages as needed, looking for references to Darksteel, the enchantment thereof, and revisit the references and his notes on how those weapons were crafted.
// Let me know if there’s anything else you guys want to take care of before resting. Also, I’m assuming you’re sleeping aboard your airship (free) unless otherwise noted. Your dragon cultist airship crew takes care of provisioning, so you don’t need to restock the vessel. //
During his reading, Ink doesn’t discover much mention of darksteel except for a passing reference about it being good for enchanting. (Researcher trait) Ink knows that Candlekeep would be his best bet for researching the relatively obscure metal.
"It isn't revenge against the dragon per say. This dragon has allied with the barbarians who kidnapped your friends family. They are part of this. This white dragon will be an issue again. You see Ink, I am a worshiper of Bahamut. White dragons are evil to the core. Having one set up his lair this close to man means he is intent on no good." he pauses, takes a deep breath, "and he killed my friend."

Next time they gather Ink asks the group, "Any of you heard of Candlekeep?"
"Oh, before we leave, I'm going to purchase a second book I can use as a spell book - in case my original one is damaged... As well as some "normal" writing supplies to use for his transcripts (see below) and to journalize their travels and experiences, as Rip would have done - although with Ink's personality stamped through it all, including more "realistic" drawings (like an anatomy book).
Ink buys a few arrows, too, to get his total number up to twenty.

Having grown tired of having to review a book he has trouble understanding, Ink will restart his initial efforts of transcribing it in its entirety from the languages its written in to mostly elvish. The only time Ink won't do this is when he needs to transcribe spells to his book. He will do this throughout all his free time, preferably in private.

"You have supremely excellent hearing, it seems, Don," Ink replies.
As he continues walking he mentions, "And last time I was in Waterdeep, there was a cloud giant castle flying overhead."
"How about this Ink, we will table this conversation. The dragon will live a long time. There are some pressing matters that are happening..." he sighs and seems to visibly deflate. "I will kill that evil beast, but it doesn't have to be right now. Though I fear we will see him again."
Anyone paying attention will notice that Don now looks as though he has never been in a fight, his wounds are gone his clothes are pristine. "A good rest though might do us all some good before we leave."
Flint looks at Don. "Mine too lad." Looking to Crownsguard and Matrix he asks "where do ye stand on it?"
Crownsguard assumes a standing ‘thinker’ pose, “According to my understanding, Marav does indeed hold a right to be avenged. However, at the same time, from what I have heard, revenge is a dangerous subject. Yet, meanwhile, my own internal thoughts as of late raise the issues of whether to give into that desire for revenge and justice. Processing. Processing. Processing. Results inconclusive. Yesss?”

"Revenge is indeed a tricky business. It can lead you down a dark path. You must be careful not to let your actions become evil in the process."
"You guys mind if we stop by Lionshield Coster? It's here in town, I want to see if I can get a few potions, I seem to be out of them and I think we might have need again before too long."
"Here's 100gp - that should cover two healing potions for me... Maybe if you buy enough they'll give you a discount," Ink tells Don.
He tells the group at large, "I'm heading to the airship so that they can start making preparations."
As he walks away, he puts a hand on Crownsguard's shoulder and says, "Revenge is an act of passion; vengeance of justice. Injuries are revenged; crimes are avenged."
"Wouldn't be the first dragon I've killed.... wait, did... did you say airship?" Matrix seems slightly out of sorts at the mention of the airship. "Hmmm well I need to buy a length of chain before we leave, Flint would you go with me so I get a good quality chain? Also to show me to your.... airship. Oh, Don get me some potions while your at it" Matrix hands don 150 gold
//matrix wants a strong but light chain of about 30-40 feet in length//
Matrix is able to find a chain of 40 feet in length from your friendly neighborhood blacksmith, the dwarf Tyrek. He keeps a few long lengths on hand for the odd occasion, and he sells the entire length to you for 20 gold pieces.
Meanwhile, Don finds the Lionshield Coster close to the west gate. It is a single-story stone structure, recently constructed in the Mierren dwarven style, with the iconic blue shield emblazoned on a wooden sign outside.
Inside the shop, a few humans run things, busily unpacking crates and stocking shelves behind the sales counter. If asked about healing potions, the female clerk behind the counter will offer the friendly reply, “Yes! We absolutely sell potions of healing, locally sourced and brewed. They are 10 bars apiece.”
(The currency in Mirabar revolves around Mierren “trade bars,” which are marked with the seal of the queen and carry a value of 5 gp each)
As Matrix approaches the airship, pulling his little cart you notice that the stoic monk seems to be... nervous an emotion he didn't show in the face of the demon earlier. As he looks up at the ship he noticeably pales "We're traveling in that? This is madness, if man was meant to fly we would have wings... you there, crewman! Help me get this stuff in the hold, carefully now or you could accidentally kill us all."
As the airship takes off the paleness is almost immediately replaced by a greenish tinge "I'm going inside... I don't like this at..." he suddenly runs to the railing and tosses up his breakfast "this is going to be....*herp* going to be fun..."
25 Uktar, the banks of the River Mirar, two miles northeast of Mirabar.
——
The six members of the airship crew all look confused by the arrival of the new adventurers, but once all five of you are aboard, they set off at your command and ask no questions about the change in party composition.
Laz, the second for the ship, explains to you that the ship is provisioned and ready to take you wherever you wish to go.
The gem cutter has an excess of diamonds, it turns out, and is happy to trade straight across for other precious stones. He asks how many diamonds you are looking for.

"If I buy 5 of them can you give me a break on price? We are trying to stop the orcs and giants from moving north toward here, they've already overrun Goldenfields."
When given the opportunity, Flint will attune with the hammer.
"Nice hammer there, that should do nicely. No daggers though 'eh?" Don smirks slightly. "A good nights sleep then how about we go find that dragon and make sure Marav's put to rest."
