Eight of the skeletons disintegrate instantly as they behold Flint's holy symbol, burning to nothingness under the power of divine fire. The remaining four advance on the dwarf...

Ink will skirt to one of the skeletons on the outside ( // I imagined them kind of closing in on Flint in a semi-circle fashion // ), and draws Blood and Undeath using the swords to tear and rend into the skeleton like the teeth of hunting cat... the swordplay, a departure from the whirling dervish of the Red Tiger, is more reminiscent of the older and more visceral, aggressive style of the Leopard.
Marav kills another skeleton, while his blood hawk companion zooms in and harries another skeleton.
Suddenly, without any prompting from Marav, Steele breaks off from the skeleton and flies up to the rafters in the ceiling, hiding his face in his wings.
Appearing from behind the tall chair at the far end of the table, and advancing on Ink and Flint, comes an unsightly horror...a gaunt, withered figure. Its mouth, if it could be called that, is drawn out, stretched inhumanly in a permanent scream. Its eyes are sunken and hollow, like the wights you met earlier. The gaunt figure turns its gaze on Flint while pointing. "You...that carry the hammer...are you worthy?" The hollow voice matches the one you heard earlier.

Meanwhile, in the hallway outside, Angel hears a grunt and turns to see that the dwarf castellan has cut his way through the cords with a small knife. He draws a longsword and runs yelling at Angel!
From the far end of the room, still outside of the reach of your darkvision, arrows come flying towards you. Raucous, harsh, empty laughter follows the arrows from out of the darkness.
At the beginning of your turn, this new, gaunt undead (a bodak) will enact its death gazeon you, as long as you are within 30 feet of the creature (you four are all currently within 30 feet). Given that the creature has only just appeared from out of hiding, you are considered "surprised" and must make the save. Next round you will be able to avert your eyes if you like.
Death Gaze. When a creature that can see the bodak’s eyes starts its turn within 30 feet of the bodak, the bodak forces it to make a DC 13 Constitution saving throw if the bodak isn’t incapacitated and can see the creature. If the saving throw fails by 5 or more, the creature is reduced to 0 hit points, unless it is immune to the frightened condition. Otherwise, a creature takes 16 psychic damage on a failed save.
The bodak is within 30 feet of you all, while the skeletons are at melee range. The arrows are coming from at least 60 feet away, probably further.
Angel seeing the dwarf come at him with a sword gets out his quarterstaff and charges towards the dwarf unleashing two quick strikes with it followed by a roundhouse rick.
OOC: I don’t remember if Bless is still in effect so I’m rolling that separate for each roll. Plus it’ll let me know more easily if I get a crit since I’m on mobile currently.
The dwarf is hit twice by Angel's quarterstaff, his breastplate failing to absorb the blows. He stumbles back momentarily and gathers himself to charge.
