// were we given descriptions of the things we are looking for? //
Ink quotes in the original giant he heard it in, then stops half way, apologizes and starts again in common....
This is what was said by the oracle: “First, you must prove yourself! When human barbarians came to these lands, they fought our kind and stole our relics, burying them in the ground. The humans built altars to Uthgar, their god-king, atop these relics and surrounded their altars with burial mounds. Go to these mounds, retrieve one or more of our lost relics, and bring them here as tribute. Do this, and your path will be made clear. There are many paths you can take. The more relics you deliver, the more paths you will have to choose from. Several evil giant lords stand ready to oppose you. You can ruin all of their plans by defeating just one of them. Which one that is remains to be seen.”
Situated between the Neverwinter Wood and the Crags, Morgur’s Mound is a sight to behold, although it appears long deserted.
From the sky, you can see that grass-covered mound is shaped like a crude, long-necked beast of some sort. A ridge of dragon bones juts from the head, neck, back, and tail of the mound. Enormous cairns encircle the mound out to a range of a quarter mile.
Several abandoned dig sites attest to the mound’s popularity among treasure hunters, and suggest that it has been plundered quite extensively.
Quill eventually comes back with a dead rabbit in her talons, while Edgar comes back giving Don a feeling of fear. Don can tell that it’s more an animal thing than anything concrete. Both birds exude the sense that there is no one around the mound, save for small wildlife.
"Maybe... I didn't want to do this so early, but now your raven has me concerned," Ink comments.
Ink absently minded pets Quill and tells her, "Enjoy your meal, and have your fill... Edgar may want some after you're done - ravens are opportunistic feeders."
Ink then focuses and casts SENDING targeting Harshnag... "Harshnag. What could you tell us about Morgur's Mound? Strategically speaking. We are here now. Twenty five word or less, please. Thank you."
After he sends the message Ink says, "Let's head down while we're waiting for a response. Everyone, grab a shovel."
Don looks toward the shovels extends a hand and makes a grasping motion. The nearest shovel lifts smoothly into the air then he calmly directs it over to the mound that would be the "head".
He repeats this until all the shovels are down then begins to climb down to join Ink.
The bone-strewn hill, which is shaped in totality kind of like wingless dragon, sprawls unevenly across the land here, with huge bleached dragon bones rising out of its high ridges, like the stylized spikes of some sort of mythic beast.
Many digs have been started on this hill already, some looking fairly recent, with upturned dirt and rocks piled around gaping pits and holes.
Ink can make a Wisdom (Perception) check while looking through the spyglass.
When Ink contacts the giant Harshnag, the telepathic reply comes hesitantly, but purposeful: <Hello... this... is... Harshnag... Morgur’s... Mound... named... after... Uthgar’s... brother... it... belongs... to... Thunderbeast... clans... who... all... went... into... hiding... years... ago.>
In the last couple words of the reply, you get a fleeting sense of a satisfied smile.

Ink relays Harshnag's message.... "Thunderbeast..... Thunderbeast.... Those aren't dragons. There are stories out of Chult... I think I've heard thunderbeast mentioned. Great reptiles, but not dragons. Those are just stories though - the only large reptiles I know of are dragons."
Ink isn’t sure where to start digging or even looking, but he knows that it will likely take a while, and you still have about 8 hours of daylight left.
Edgar, meanwhile, responds to Don’s command and takes to the skies with a keen eye.

"Fair enough," Ink replies to Flint.
"Delsephine," Ink asks, "would allow me use of your spyglass once more?"
Ink searches for altars or runes or variances in the ground level (like depressions or rises among the otherwise flat area).
He nods to Quill, saying, "Fly a search pattern, girl, be on the lookout for anything alive or moving."

He nods at Ink.
