Khan had already been growing incensed by the man's tone by the time Ang finally chimed in with her 2 cents. So much so, in fact, that had Ang not made the remark about being a 'his' AND having less potent poison, the barely three foot tall frog humanoid might've grabbed old toothless and tried dragging him to the arena on the spot. Instead, both confused and put off by the remark, she crosses her arms, narrowed her eyes, and cocked her head slightly to the side at Ang.
But any chance she had on interjecting is robbed the moment Ang shouted across the room, furthering her blow. It is then, Khan silently resigned herself, and just looked expectant towards the man until he made for the arena. Khan is quick on his heels, cracking her knuckles, and even rolling her shoulders in antipcation. The very instant it 'seems' time for the match to start Khan only just catches Ang's hint in grung. And still bitter or not, years of trust wouldn't allow her to dismiss Ang's advice out of hand.
And so it was that she struck, punch right for the throat, before dipping slightly for several blows to the junk for good measure. Was it dirty? Yes. Did it go against likely 85% of her training? Maaaaybe. But did this stop her from exacting some revenge for his daring to insult one of her own? Not the least bit. And even if she couldn't quite keep up the momentum for below the table, she'd be just as quick to adjust and aim for other vulnerable areas.

Saros approaches the gnome betting on the fight. He is a nervous wreck, and only notices Saros after a few seconds. "Oh, hi! Deep gnome! I haven't seen one of you cousins in many many years... You'll not drag me underground, will you?"He does't wait for and answer and turns to look around for the thugs, making sure none of them are near him at this very moment. "I'm betting on Toothless. He is a sturdy fellow... and that frogling is shorter than I am! I'd advise you to do the same, but the truth is that luck has not been on my side today... or ever, really. I'm Gnator Gnimmcap, by the way... You?" As he speaks, he trembles, and fidgets. His drink spills everywhere.
Meanwhile, Ghee approaches Gregor Forskog and gets the following reply: "Toothless is the favorite. I'm paying 1.2 to 1 on him. The frog is a flat 2 to 1 on the odds, I'd say. But these are payouts before bookie's fees; don't say I didn't warn you before hand." Gregor says all of this without looking at Ghee. He is staring at the ring attentively instead. Perhaps that's for the better. Ghee's pale completion has earned him the quick disaffection of some folk in the past.
Having his answer, Ghee places 10gpon Khan. Bleep and Ang each do the same. Darrik is left to drink many mugs back at the original table, at least for now.
The crowd yells a thousand demands and hints at both of the contenders, but Khan knows how to pick out the trustworthy tactics shouted by Ang among the rabble. Much faster than her opponent, the orange grung leaps though an opening in the man's defenses as pointed out by Ang and delivers a swift punch to Toothless' throat. This immediately opens the rest of his defenses. (Toothless takes 5 bludgeoning damage.)
Despite having an even easier target to hit, Khan lands a bit awkwardly after her leap and punches only air in her second attempt. This only encourages her to do better. She aims for the man's nether regions and delivers two accurate kicks. The crowd let's out a collective "Oooooohhh." (Toothless takes 11 bludgeoning damage.)
The stunned opponent has no response to Khan's attacks.
(@Ori: That was 2 Ki points used in total. It is Khan's turn again.)
Even with her opponent reeling for a second, Khan keeps up the assault with little remorse. One punch to the gut is followed by an elbow across the face. Though the last strike nearly off-balances her, the momentum of her recover is thrown into a hard headbutt to the gut again, pushing the man back and hopefully into a wall. In the last moments in which he just starts to recover, Khan had already entered a one legged stance, waiting for that vague since of recognition to enter the man's eyes... before springing up into a final jump kick to the chin!

Ghee watches on silently. His pupil has become a master in their own right. It makes him proud to know his teachings such as 'Everyone has a plan until ye punch them in the mooth' and 'Aim tae try and land least one good hit tae the groin' did not fall on deaf ears. Not that grung have ears.
Bleep reclines in his seat. His leader had his number the moment she stepped into the pit. As far as he is concerned, the fight was merely a formality.
Ghee, Ang, Darrik, and Bleep watch on with a mix of pride, confidence, and pity for the opponent in their eyes.
Saros continues his conversation with a half-attentive Gnator. The resident gnome switches from staring at the fight and speaking to his fellow gnome. He notices how the bout is developing and lets out a small curse: "Filth buckets! You are right. the frogling knows how to fight. Toothless hasn't even been able to react! Oh.... When Saros changes the subject to the potential presence of other gnomes in town, Gnator replies: "Well, you are the third gnome in town, and definitely the first svirfneblin for that matter. I arrived here many years ago with Balick, my long time friend. We both came on the promise of getting steady jobs at a new mining village, at the time." Gnator continues to fidget furiously while speaking. "Back then, luck was on our side. He became an assistant at the local supply and sundries shop, managing to eventually save enough to buy the store on his own, which is quite commendable." He smiles a bit, still trembling: "And I... I got the best job in town. I became the grounds keeper at the Weirding Manor! Good pay but, unlike Balick, well... I couldn't save much. I like the fights and the malty ale a bit too much, I guess."His expression changes to one of an embarrassed smile, though he is not being apologetic about his vices.
The fight continues and Khan lands another four blows before Toothless is even capable of realizing what is happening. A fist, an elbow, a forehead, and a foot form a medley of pain that continues to stunKhan's human opponent. (Toothless takes another 27 bludgeoning damage.)
Some spectators begin to voice requests for mercy, but Toothless somehow still manages to stay upright.
(@Ori: That was another 2 Ki points used. It is Khan's turn once more.)
Khan was neither hearing it or having it. All of her frustrations over the past few days were starting to surface without some kind of breaker for it; be it pain or the advice of her master. All of her hard work? Spoiled. Her dedication to the climb? Corrupted. Her huntsman? Scattered. And worst of all -- Worst of all was having to work with some smug forgein 'goblin' that didn't even have the decency to own up to it, and had the nerve to take advantage of her kindness in allowing him to yet walk as ally to her!
It's in that moment toothless' face got replaced by Saros in her mind, and with battle croak loud enough to make nearby glass tremble. In the next, Khan gets toothless in a headlock and drags him closer to the ground, coating him well and good with her poisons as she pummeled the absolute mess out of his head.
And only by the grace of the gods did she yet show enough restraint to stop if he should stop moving enough or managed to squeeze out a surrender.

The tall Lizardfolk lackey snaps his maw a few times for effect.

A second finger "Then would it be possible possible to have some large waterbath in our room please. Us Grung love water". Ang slide another 2 gold pieces across the bar. Khan smirks at her banning, and silently hoped Gregor or one of his lackeys had some kind of artistic background to draw her picture for good measure. A few moments later the smirk falls away fro a more thoughtful look, as it occurs to her that she was yet being hunted, and thus could perhaps use less attention.
The Orange Grung is quickly shaken from her thoughts at the whistle. And in seeing Saros at least loosely wrapped up in the affairs of some human kid. Or wait, did she hear Gregor call them a gnome? Is that what an actual gnome looks like?
....
'Huh... No wonder Saros is confused about his lineage' She thought, nodding sagely to herself, before abruptly startling upon realizing she'd been standing and staring from afar from too long. After a quick look around to see if Derrick noticed the potential incident and might step in for his fellow outsider if needed, Khan would either saddle up closer to better hear what's going on and MAYBE intervene in some way. Or, if Derricks ont he case, leave the two to solve the issue while she returned to their table and actually enjoy her ale.

(Gonna assume Ghee catches Khan while she was distracted, negating any interference. Which is fine!)
Surprised, Khan's first instinct is to ball her other hand into a fist and ready to strike her grappler. Because poison or not, one did not take chances (typically) in an unknown envirotnment. Fortunately for all involved she fails to adjust to the awkward positioning before realizing it was just Ghee. "Mmmaybe. Mmmaybe not. Need find brethren first. Then, Khan focus more. Prove future." She said, blushing as much as an amphibian based humanoid can even blush.
It takes a moment more, but eventually she remembers and reminds Ghee of the poison while trying to slip from his grasp. "Others listening, Khan thanks. Master listening as well? Hear talk of passing Grung while Khan fights?"

Pocketing his winnings Ghee moves to congratulate Khan, raising her fist in the air in triumph.
"Threw a few new moves in there didn't ya? Ah think the pupil might soon be a master."
(OOC For someone who should know better, Ghee does touch the grungs a lot.)
