With Omen looking after the scouting party a bleary eyed Ghee mumbles something to say he'll take last watch at camp while those staying behind get a few more hours of rest. Khan issues some orders to Ang and Bleep and quickly prepares to set out. Omen is tasked with accompanying the orange grung and potentially flying back to relay news. Darrik tells everyone else to go back asleep as he'll continue his watch shift (third overall.) Ghee tells his fellow dwarf to wake him up for the final watch which, at this point, is still 100 or so minutes away.
Khan climbs over the portion of the town wall the group used to escape and looks over at the mining district: no changes from before. The area is deserted. She quietly makes her way around and up the hill to reach the edges of the commercial district. Here, the situation is very different and Khan's suspicions are confirmed. Several goblinoids of different sizes and dressed in the traditional Batiri war attire, including fearsome masks, are raiding the town. It seems they have finally produced a siege weapon capable of overcoming the town's walls.
Both the commercial and residential districts are on fire. Townsfolks of many different sizes, races, ages and genders are running, screaming, crying, and bleeding. The few guards that have shown some sort of courage have managed to slow down the Batiri advance, but have now been cornered by a huge ogre carrying a shoddy bamboo construction on its shoulders, which in turn houses several goblins. Another ogre reveals itself from around a flaming corner. This one holds an impossibly heavy-looking battering ram... That must be their "siege" weapon.
Khan notices one more thing: some of the war masks among the Batiri ranks seem familiar. These are the goblins that dismantled her hunting unit and set her on her current path. They killed her original lieutenant and sent all but one of the green grungs into desperate run for survival, which ultimately led them to Weirding.
From this position, Khan has little evidence that the manor has been attacked. Omen stays ready to receive some sort of cue from Khan.
(@Ori: If doing anything else other than leaving via the way you came, you'll need to roll another stealth check.)
The moment Khan makes the connection, its as if a siren starts going off in her head. Small hands are soon balled into tight fists, as more beats join the siren, setting her heart racing into overdrive. Even the small bit of guilt she harbored for thinking even for a second to blame her old lieutenant for somehow failing and doubly assuring their loss started giving way to to rage...
Yet, the flames and feelings of dryness gave her pause to think. The body could not be denied. How long before her skin became too dry from the heat to focus in the coming assassinations? And Her warriors... her were exhausted and no state to remedy the first failure. Did she dare act, and at least alleviate herself of at least one disgrace now?
"Khan.... is.... Patient." She grimaced after forcing the words past her lips. But having now said as much, her course was affirmed, as far as the grung was concerned in the moment. Even so, brown eyes again scanned the scenes for a path or means to yet guide the Batari towards the mansion sooner than later, and hopefully force them into direct conflict with the Lord's guards.
It is then she remembers Omen; and though uncertain if it behaved any similar to parrots, motioned it closer and said, "If connected.. if smart.. uh... Mn... Listen! You fly around village. You say as you fly: Mansion. Safety. Mansion Much Loot!" She catches herself before saying more, and would then start motioning for the bird to fly off; feeling right foolish though for the plan.
Whether it works or not, it was time to return. So without daring look back, least the siren got to her again, the Orange attempted to scuttle back to the camp the same way she entered.
(SR taken and noted on the sheet. Didn't spend any hit die, but recovered Ki points and other noteworthy abilities).
(Also, not sure if the above would require the stealth check, but just in case: 26, and the Animal Handling(if needed): 22. Add another +2 if able to use Persuasion instead.)

@Khan: You devise and quickly put your plan into motion. Omen's head cocks to the side and, a second or two later, the bird takes it to the air. Without waiting to visually confirm your plan's success or failure, you expertly sneak your way out of the village and back into the camp. Darrik is still on watch, the third shift of the night. You share with him your discoveries but keep your plan a secret.
REST OF THE THIRD WATCH
Darrik continues to keep an eye out for another hour or so. Now armed with the knowledge that the town is under attack, he begins to worry about the Watchers' chances of retrieving both the tome and the kenku they came in here to find. Regardless, their best chance now is to rest and wait for a better chance at a full frontal attack... or something similar... probably.
Khan goes off to a lonely corner to catch some shuteye, bathe, or at least quietly plan ahead some more.
Saros pops up awake at some point, albeit only briefly, with the feeling of having an empty stomach. He understands this to mean that Omen is not coming back to camp on his own. Saros goes back to sleep, knowing that his strength will be needed come the morrow.
FINAL WATCH
Ghee takes over from Darrik, who shares with him that the Batiri have attacked the town. Screams of horror and pain can still be heard on the background for most of Ghee's watch, but the party's camp is never in danger.
Dawn comes and with it the party wakes up, brakes fast, and begins to undo the campsite. The grungs also make sure to moisten their skin a bit more and destroy their temporary bathing-beds. By the time the group is ready to go, nearly a full hour has passed since dawn.
(OOC: Everyone but Khan benefits from a Full Rest. Make sure to hit the button in the character sheet.)
Ang finishes her morning cleaning and moistening and asks: "So, should we go check on the village and try a different approach for the manor ? I think they might have guarded the tunnel we used to escape by now. "
"Maybe. Maybe not. Exit blocked either way."A bleary-eyed Khan remarks. "Unless coward use them. Escape Mansion. Escape Invaders."She chuckled. "Should expect goblin remaining. Goblins or Ogres. So, we take same way back in village. But, we be quiet. We be careful. We avoid looks, least survivors uninvolved see us as cause." There's a roll of the eyes at that last statement, but Khan's hunters would know the truth.
But then in a look to Stabby, her expression falters for a moment. "Need find safe place for him too along way. Either way, we need return inside village first. Grey one! Gn-... Sa-ros... You summon strange bird, yes? They scout ahead this time as we go once in village? If so, we go soon, yes?"She stated more than ask, but at least did him the courtesy of waiting for a response before going through the rigamarole of strapping Stabby back in place for her to carry.

Bleep shows a desire to go take stock of the aftermath firsthand, while Ang voices her reservations about trying to use the underground tunnels to reach the manor. Khan is not so convinced. The orange grung makes some suggestions/statements regarding the next immediate steps and straps Blip to her back once more.
During the packing of the camp, Saros trusted the menial work to the others and focuses instead on re-summoningOmen.

After some reflexion, Ang calls the group. "Here me out, I may have one plan. It seems that we now have to deal with two different ennemies. Maybe we could drive them one toward the other one ? The more they fight, the weaker they get, and we just swoop at the end to finish them. This is not a fight we will win being frontal."
"We need to drive the goblins toward the manor and make it so that the doors of the manors are open." Ang draws then on the soil a battle map. "So, if we manage to stealthily go to the Manor's doors and open then, I can then disguise B'leep in a Goblin. I think I have enough in my kit to make you somewhat resembling to one of those nasty creature. B'leep you would just have to call them out, shouting that the Manor is open and free for looting. I am pretty sure they won't resist it."
Ang raises her head and look to each of her companions. "What do you say?"

Saros nods at the logic of the plan, then adds that he has some spells that might help them take the gate without force, outlining the below options for consideration to flesh out a plan, which might be a plan B if the grungs can't get the gate open by stealth/force....
OOC: Saros also has the Eyes of Charming, soooo, if he was feeling brave he might be able to use Disguise Self to look like Mez, get close to the walls and use the Eyes of Charming (avoid the Advantage on spell save) on the first guard he sees on approaching the gates and then get them to open the gates.....or alternatively he could just Misty Step into the compound as Mez and try the same.....of course this would be a problem if Mez was already visible in the courtyard herself.....
OOC: Alternatively, get Saros close enough and he could throw Sleep at a higher spell level (if 3rd level it would affect 9d8 worth of HP) to take out a 40ft sphere of guards.....not sure this would be the most useful option, but throwing it out there

Ang disguises Bleep, who speaks the Goblin language, to look like a Batiri Goblin by ways of a disguise kit. Let's call this a performance roll with tool proficiency added.
Omen flies over the entire town, at a safe vertical distance, to gather visual intelligence.
Party infiltrates the town stealthily through the Mining District's portion of the wall they have been using, finds a place for Stabby-Blip to hide, then separates into at least two teams.
The idea of rallying the townsfolk to the party's side is not being executed.
If step 6 fails, Saros may just put guards to Sleep or Team A infiltrates the Manor's courtyard by force.
Team B, which includes Bleep, will persuade the goblins to ransack the manor once the path is open.
Two sets of enemies fight it out.
...
Profit.
Is this right? If so, I'll need some rolls as indicated above, at least for the steps you are ready to take.
IN-GAME
The group makes its way to the portion of the wall they have been using to go in and out of town in a surreptitious manner. Before they start jumping/climbing/helping others with rope, the party can already hear some noises from the other side of the wall. Hours have passed and the Mining District is no longer empty.

Applying a little make up from his disguise kit to make his skin tone a little less pale and a little more... healthier? It's at this point he decides that packing a mirror might have been useful...
(OOC Not sure what you want to about this check, @Lerus. Ghee is plus 3 to performance but doesn't have proficiency with his disguise kit. Here's another roll incase that means disadvantage: 14)
