GB hears the voice calling out but is unable to understand of identify it.  After hearing Aregarak try to respond, GB shouts out in common

"No harm from us, I GB, you understand?"

GB tries to focus his eyes in the light and identify the source of the voice.

Bel yells out in common, elvish, and orc “we mean no harm to those that mean us no harm” then quickly ducks into the shadows near by to await a response.

Stealth 19

// Lana speaks Undercommon...we'll wait for her if she has any input. //

Lana hears the voices and she speaks in Undercommon "We are here in peace and wish to speak with you". Not feeling her bow warning her she feels that there is not much danger ahead.

A disembodied voice comes now from somewhere in front of you, laden with suspicion. The voice is female, albeit very gruff. She speaks in halting, heavily-accented Common. 

"What...do you want? Why are you here? We have...no business with you, un-less you bring...riches."

Aregarak opens his mouth to say something....but then closes it abruptly, looks at the rest of his party and shrugs

Lana looks at the other "We may have somethings to trade if you have information or other things to barter with" she replied.

GB hands Lana his share of the silver pieces from the stores of Great Ulef the ogre (?) they defeated ealier.

"GB has coin." he whispers "dont tell them how much just shake the bag and let them now we have coinage.  GB prefers to see who we are talking too."

Bel will remain hidden just in case.

Lana takes the bag and jingles it as GB suggest "We are looking for things here and we would like to trade" she repeats herself.

Spirits ears perk up as she looks around.

"We have information...and we can trade for gold or gems," says the gruff female voice. Upon hearing the bag of coins jingling, the speaker reveals herself to be standing not 10 feet from you, in the middle of the firelit room. She is short and stocky, no taller than the average dwarf but a tad thinner. Equipped with studded leathers, she wears a pair of fine shortswords in subtly gilded leather hilts, and the small crossbow on her back is obviously expertly crafted. Her skin is a dull grey, her head is bald, and she wears a distrustful expression on her face as her milky eyes dart furtively between the four of you.

// You don't have to offer a bribe of course! Or if you have a better idea for an ability check, throw it at me! Just let me know me know how you'd like to proceed. //

Bel walks over to Lana leans in close whispering in elven “fiddle around with you things but make sure she gets quick look of the gem you picked up earlier. Maybe it will loosen her lips” then he steps aside shrugging his shoulders like he isn’t sure what to do.

that should have been a plus 4 not 2 but it’s a good roll either way.

The small dwarf-like creature seems put off-balance by Bel's sudden appearance from the shadows and brief interaction with Lana, but struggles to regain her composure. She says to Lana, trying (but failing) to appear disinterested, "It sounds like you have something of worth there...as I said, we can trade information for the valuables, if they are valuable enough."

Lana looks at the others and back to the dwarf like creature "Yes I have some fine gifts that you may find interesting for the right amount of information that is" she says to the woman.

Aregarak grips the hilt of his greatsword a little tighter carefully watching the surroundings
