In a show of tactics the events rush within the span of six seconds and then silence. First Wolfstine shoots an arrow straight through the eye socket of one of the masked cultists' faces, knocking the charging, scimitar wielding raider dead to the ground. His second arrow has his aim off and instead gets the cultist in the clavicle, forcing the armored and masked humanoid to stumble. Within a second later Vitre's bullet in his sling is released with such force and accuracy that it takes out the second charging cultist as he stumbles down toward the ground, also now dead.
Thufir, the only one so far heeding the call from Wolfstine, rushes forward upon the Acolyte, the only surviving member of the group, and before the robed being can get a spell off slams the butt of his longswoard sharply against their head, knocking them unconscious immediately.
"Hold Gae-Al! We need to tie this one up and take em with us"
Wolfstine says as he approaches the spell caster to tie em up and gag em
"Someone grab the Masks and robes while I do this, they may come in handy."
If the spell caster has anything he'll take the robe and mask from this person while he's tying them up and check to see if they have a spell focus and take it
Thufir pulls one of the ropes he'd taken from the armory, and with Wolfstein, quickly hog ties the unconscious cultist. He makes it a point to not take the robes or mask though doesn't stop anyone else from doing so if they wish. He's then immediately on his feet again, leaving the tied cultist on the ground for later, and running towards the mill.
Wolfstine is able to fish out one of his arrows from the cultists that he shot at, but the other is sadly too damaged to be of any further use. This group is carrying nothing except for arms and armor, those who search notice. The two cultists killed are carrying scimitars, the one knocked out has a measly club. There are two pieces of decent condition leather armor on the two dead cultists as well.
The remaining hundred feet to the mill passes by rather uneventfully, although the closer you get you can see four of the masked raiders in leather armor with torches aloft, and one guard-looking raider in chainmail keeping a watchful eye out. There are a few fires burning around the mill itself already.
If you are trying to be sneaky roll a stealth with a DC of 12 to not be seen. If you are decided to just straight attack roll initiative. Any other choices or actions please state and I will inform if a dice roll is needed. I will put up a DM post on Friday after work/Saturday morning no matter how many people have posted. If everyone gets a post in before then I will try to get a DM post up sooner.
Gae-Al whispers to the others, "I shall sneak forward and put them to sleep." Glancing over the group, she whispers a rousing tale of an archer hero who slew a giant to Wolfstine (You gain a d6 bardic inspiration). She quickly moves for the cover of the trees and slowly begins sneaking towards the cultists.
Wolfstine shakes his head then quietly says to the dragonborn. " No I'm afraid I don't have a bucket. I know we're adventurers. But we need to start communicating to each other. Not acting on impulse, unless it need be. You're our leader Thufir you should have a talk with us."
Aiming at the cultists he draws a bead with his bow waiting for the noise making Goliath to do what she wants to do but ready to back her up
Thufir blinks, but grins, at being called leader, thinking, "That's sudden... What would Leto think of me now?" He then nods, and tightens his grip on his sword, ready to charge in the moment it appears their presence is known, and says, "It seems you are having the talk with yourself already. And you are correct. Planning for battle is important. At the moment though, time is not on our side."
Wolfstine, you do notice as you observe that the cultists who are supposedly setting fire to the mill are not actually setting fire to the mill. It is more that they are miming the actions of setting fire to the mill, and the fires that are there there look to be easy to extinguish and more for show. You also notice that the chainmail dressed cultist has his eyes firmly set upon Gae-Al and looks to be ready to draw attention of his masked companions.
After hearing what Wolfstine said, the half orc looks at the cultist for a moment and tries to get close to Gae-Al without been noticed.
Stealth:18
As soon as he is close enough to be heard by the goliath, he wispers to her "Wait, Wolfstine says that you are walking to a trap. It might be better to regroup before doing something".
Upon hearing that it is a trap, Gae-Al pauses. "Do we not need to save the mill?" She glances back towards the mill to see if she can tell what is going on (Perception 10)
Gae-Al does not notice anything about the mill or any sort of trap. What she can see is the cultists preparing to start a fire, and one staring out in her general direction. He seems alert out of the five cultists present.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Gae-Al attempts to cast sleep on him hoping to catch them off guard saying to Steven, "We need to stop them from burning that. Don't worry, they won't know what hit them."

The group watches with bated breath as two of the masked cultists drop off into a sudden slumber. As soon as the two go down, their torches fall to the floor and ignite the bit of hay they were standing beside. The guard moves in to engage Gae-Al being closest to them, while Wolfstine's attack goes off to the side and pings against the mill's siding.
Vitre, just from his observations is unfortunately unable to determine a reason for the cultists' pretense of lighting the mill on fire.
Game will now be going by initiative order for posting. If you have not already rolled, please roll for initiative. If I do not have all initiative rolls by Tuesday evening I will roll for you.
