Tommary the Unworthy withdraws the tile slowly from the slot, if no light of either sort he will insert the tile again and withdraw the tile rapidly, then will begin a series of perumutations of inserting and pulling the tile are varying rates of speed until he gets a light of the party tells him to knock it off.

"............anybody got any potatoes? We could drop a potato in each hole an' see which ones get viciously mauled by horrible monsters?"
You see a large room paneled in silvery metal and white lacquer. There is a boarder along the floor about 5 feet wide. The central section of the floor is divided into fifteen 15 by 15 foot raised squares (about 1 foot higher than you). The squares have broad bands of color on them - blue brown, red, and white. In addition, on each square there appears to be a glass case. Within most of the glass cases are creatures that seem to be sleeping or boxes and bottles. The automatons seem to be pushing the squares about the room always leaving a square open.
There are three other doors leaving into the room in the center of each wall.
The automatons turn to Tommary and stop. They ask in a strange accent, "Instructions."

OOC: I didn’t get a screencap fast enough the first time, so I had to solve the darned thing twice! Lol🤣😂🤣
IC: “Hey, maybe if you put that one over there, and then slide those three over thataway, an’ then slide those ones thisaway, an’ then slide that one over there…. Yeah, that’s the way!”
Elyona stares confusedly at the moving blocks. The others can see her moving her hands as if moving the blocks and muttering to herself. Her mutters become increasingly frustrated until she throws up her hands in disgust at herself. She looks enviously at Toots, who seems to have this figured out.
OOC: I don’t think I’ve ever managed to solve one of those kind of puzzles. My brain doesn’t handle spatial manipulation well. To be clear, since text doesn’t convey tone well, I’m not upset or annoyed with the puzzle choice, just aware of my own limitations. I did give it a try, but didn’t get anywhere.

OOC: Don’t envy Toots’ player at all, it took me almost 40 minutes to solve the first time through. I’m not usually get good at those things either. I wonder if my new ADHD meds helped this time.
The constructs start move to the closest container to the door, examine for a few seconds - it is empty, then move to the next closest container which has what looks like a sleeping lizard. The creature has 8 legs and grey hide, with spikes along the back. They lift the container and move towards the door.

The constructs take the container out to the cave and dump out the lizard leaving it lying among the vines. They then bring the container back into the metal room.

"Hmmm, but if we do that, deliver the Basilisk to the Spider Queen, we could inadvertently turn the balance of power between the neighboring frog and spider nations. I mean what if we drop off the basilisk, explore these mechanical rooms more and when we come back all this spider space is now the domain of the frogs? I might have my priorities confused, Spock, I mean Toots, do we have a Waywatcher Confederation Prime Directive?"
