In my campaign, the PCs fight some Lycans and now they are cursed. After some reading I understood the mechanics of the PC Lycans, but what happens in case they cure it?
They lose all traits, ok, but and what about the Strenght gain?
Ex.: A Wizard with Str 8 become a Werewolf and now he has Str 15. When he remove the curse, his Str become 8 again or it still 15?
I am quite certain that the intention is for the ability scores mentioned, along with all other abilities, to be what you have while you're a lycanthrope. When you're cured of the affliction, you return to your normal stats. Similar wordings are used in things like Polymorph.
Otherwise people would be getting werewolves to bite them, get the ability bonus, and then get a Remove Curse. Free ability scores! :p

Sry but I think you're wrong in this case. I was whit the same impression, but after a lot of searching, all people say the score increase ie permanent and for all situations. Its just like the Lycan monsters... The MM doesn't show different ability scores for each form of them...
Thanks for the answer! In other foruns thay said to me in case they are cured, the scores back to normal.
As a lycanthrope you are cursed, with that curse comes the wonderful stat bonuses, but you need to buy a flea collar and some milk bones for your breath.
When the curse is lifted there are 2 possible results presented by this thread:
The stat bonuses remain, but you no longer have the ability to take on the lupine or hybrid forms. Hooray, no more halitosis...maybe.
The character reverts to the form it was prior to the curse, no stat bonus, no transformation, no desire to mark one's territory.
Let's look at different cursed items from D&D:
A necklace of strangulation. When the player puts this cursed necklace on it slowly shrinks, eventually it asphyxiates the person and they die.
When the necklace is decursed it becomes inert and is simply a pretty piece of metal from then on.
Knives of Thievery. They cause an alignment change and eventually turn you into a denizen of the shadow plane.
When the daggers are decursed the attunement to the daggers is removed and all changes are reversed.
In both cases the effect is nullified and there is no lingering effect on the PC. So, with that being said, I would have to say the answer is no, you do not keep the stat changes.
I'd like to think of it more like the Gauntlets of Ogre Power. As long as you're attuned to the gauntlets, you have Strength 19. Ie, as long as you're cursed, you have the Strength of the lycan. As soon as you're cured, it's gone.
