I have a question about dragon lance campaign setting that has a super natural gift that provides a bonus to will saving throws but I don't know which things in a relevant situation would be appropriate to capitalize on the bonus. Help would be greatly appreciated
Will saving throws would be something that slipped in from 3.x, they don't exist in 5e. It's mostly equivalent to wisdom saves in 5e, though you might also make it int/wis/cha saves.
Was that material maybe for 4e? That edition had a Will defense that was the highest of either Wisdom or Charisma. The 5e equivalent would be a bonus to Wisdom or Charisma saving throws ( or both) depending on the other flavor of the item.
While i'd often hear this still called at game table by players or DMs, it's actually quite surprising to find it printed in a published work by WoTC and seeing it made through developping, editing and playtesting without being caught.
Definitely many failed investigation or perception checks! :)

It was errata’d:
Chapter 7
Dragon Queen’s Will (p. 178). In the third sentence, “Will saving throws” is now “Wisdom saving throws.”
