Due to the warforged's Integrated Protection racial trait, if you don adamantine armor, you effectively have an adamantine body. And it sounds better than it is - the only difference between normal armor and adamantine armor is that adamantine armor can't get critted against.

That’s better than a kick in the ⚾️⚾️.
Which, incidentally, is one of the ways in which I'd describe a critical hit...

Why the heck isn’t there a “well there ya go” hand gesture emoji?!?
Heavy Armor Master and any heavy armor is already better than a 5e conversion of Adamantine Body would be, so I can't see any reason why they would do a conversion on it. Adamantine body gave an AC boost and damage reduction of 2. Drawbacks were that it could only be taken at 1st level, speed reduced to 20ft, and all the heavy armor penalties from that edition.
Does anyone know if there is a 5e version of the adamantine body feat for warforged
There are not any official racial feats for warforged that I know off.
A fool pulls the leaves. A brute chops the trunk. A sage digs the roots.

Thanks very much, that's what I thought but one of my players was arguing with me about it
