you take forge cleric and blade singer wizard. you have 20 in all stats to make this eisier. you cast shield and shield of fiath, and hold a sheild, and tyake defence for your fighting style, and have warforged race

20+7+1+1+1+5=35
AC calculations do not stack so that would not work.
Also you can't use heavy armor as a barbarian or a bladesinger so it wouldn't work anyway.

Bladesinger doesn't provide a different calculation, it just gives an int bonus to AC. However, you are correct that you wouldn't be able to get the bonus from forge or defensive fighting style as getting the 20 AC requires being unarmored. The base AC would then be 20+5+1=26, add spells on top of that.

Fair enough.
However, to get that AC 20 you would need 20's in like everything, while possible, is highly improbable. Also technically you wouldn't be able to be a Bladesinger as a warforge (at least until Tasha's comes out).
Honestly Forge in this build makes no sense...I would go Order domain as it has better level 1 abilities.
Overall even with good rolls on ability scores you are likely looking at maxing that AC at level 12 at the earliest and having to dump every single ASI into CON/DEX to pump it up.
The build I posted would come online a LOT faster and would leave all your ASI's open to take Warcaster which would help keeping Shield of Faith up as even with a godly AC you will still get hit 5% of the time.

Needing 13 at least in wisdom, strength, and intelligence just to multiclass plus the dex and con for AC is difficult and would leave not much for offense.
As for Artificer, it doesn't count as a magical item if it's generated by a class ability. And battle Smith would give the offense needed. After all, that limitation would eliminate Forge Cleric since Blessing of the Forge makes the item magical.
yeah. it would be terrible, and actually impossible to get that many 20s without any ability score improvement. and you do ahve to be elf i guess. but the point is not to be powerful, but to have high AC
Yeah depending on how technical you want to get with it the Artificer Infusions do create magic items albeit ones created by a class feature. Hard to tell if it would violate the spirit of the idea. If they are OK to use then I would amend my warforge build:

Race: Warforged
Build: Fighter 1/Forge Cleric 6/Artificer X
AC:
Plate: 18
Shield: +2 (20)
Warforge integrated armor: +1 (21)
Blessing of the Forge: +1 (22)
Soul of the Forge: +1 (23)
Fighter- Defensive Style: +1 (24)
Artificer Infusions:
Enhanced Defense: +2 AC (25)
Repulsion Shield: +1 AC (26)
Replicate Item: Cloak of Protection +1 AC (27)
27 AC at Will before Spells!
With Spells:
Shield of Faith- Spell: +2 (29) or Haste (+2)
Shield Spell- Reaction: +5 (34)
Total with Spells: 34 AC
Blessing of the Forge and infusions both require non magical items and create magical items. Blessing of the Forge won't work with shields, but enhanced defense will. However, Repulsion Shield would count as magical. Enhanced Defense does eventually become the +2, so it's an auto-include for AC. Blessing of the Forge or Repulsion Shield would therefore not be able to both be used for your AC at the same time. The multiclass prevents a ring of protection. Still, 26 at will and 33 with spells is pretty nifty.

Blessing of the Forge with a Shield is odd....Is a shield considered armor? It is listed under armor but its clearly distinct. I would say its not but its hard to definitely say.

I wasn't thinking of Blessing of the Forge on the shield, I was thinking of Enhanced Defense going on whatever Blessing of the Forge/Repulsion Shield didn't cover.
magic items are banned, but if you had adamite armor, you could get high ac, and be immune to crits
We're not using magic items that aren't provided by class options. The Artificer can imbue magical effects onto mundane items and replicate magical items as part of its class abilities. In essence, it's no different than defensive fighting style or being able to cast Shield.

Yeah I think there could be higher AC builds but this one does seem to be at least close to the max I can think of.

I do, however, see a way to do it:
Race: Warforged
Build: Wizard 1/Fighter 1/Forge Cleric 6
AC:
Plate: 18
Shield: +2 (20)
Warforge integrated armor: +1 (21)
Blessing of the Forge: +1 (22)
Soul of the Forge: +1 (23)
Fighter- Defensive Style: +1 (24)
Shield of Faith- Spell: +2 (26)
Shield Spell- Reaction: +5 (31)
Total = 31 AC with reaction shield casting
You could go even higher with Artificer and infusions but that technically breaks the "no magic items" rule

I did something similar to this, but since I enjoy playing rouge, I added another challenge to make it a functional rouge as well.
20 levels in rouge (Arcane Trickster)
Warforged
Feats:
Defensive Duelist, Moderately Armored, Medium armor master, Fighting Initiate (Defense)
Constant AC: 22 (half-plate, Shield)
Reaction: Defensive duelist (+6 AC), Shield spell (+5 AC) so 33 AC, As a working rouge.
Though with magic items, I can make a working Rouge with ac, During Reaction, up to 50
paladin with magic initiate: plate armor, shield, shield of faith, physical shield, defense fighting style = 28
