lol, ez. Vuman -> Magic Initiate- Sorcerer-> Magic Missile and one other. Hexblade Warlock 1.
so BA curse, action Magic missile, dealing 3(d4+3), averaging out at 16.5 damage, including accuracy. everyone else doesn't include accuracy, and while this does less damage, it always hits.
V.Human Life domain cleric take magic initiate, take goodberry from that. Then your disciple of life adds 3 to all of the berries equaling 40 hit points gained from a first level spell.(This is only added during short rests because it takes a while to consume). And if you have spell slots left after you are done adventuring for a day you can put them all into goodberry to have more healing for the next day.

Ever wanted an ARMY of minions casting big spells? Well in this guide I’ll show you how to! At Level 1! So, you see, this can work at level 1, and it’s so ez, your DM will cry!
So let’s go over the character real quick!
So they can either be Variant Human - [Telikenetic Feat] Wizard 1, Knight Background,
Make sure you get the find familiar spell. it must be Fey.
So, why do I care so darn much about the Familiar? Well your familiar is Fey! Can you see where this is going? No? I’m disappointed in you, theoretical internet optimizer.
You make a Fey Contract of course! So you gain Fey Ancestry in exchange for your name. You choose a new name. Your new name is Qwerty. More on this later! [after we go through why the Knight Background was necessary.
Yeah, so murd3r one of your Chaotic Retainers, and pray above their body to Devil McMeanie. So ask for da Wish spell in exchange for Fealty.
(Diabolical Deals)
Well, so what’s Fealty? You gain a level of Warlock, and you must choose Fiend within it. Additional Cheese, maybe: (If you use Tasha’s subclass switching your DM might say you can change it to Genie and get a Ring of Three Wishes. I think that personally it doesn’t work so this doesn’t really work). Oh no, you gained a level! Tragedy, tragedy!
(Ha, ha, free level)
Simulate da Wish Spell -> copies the effects of Mordenkainen’s Magnificent Mansion, which is of course decorated with Wish Scrolls and Time Stop Scrolls and Tomes of (Understanding, Bodily Health, Clear Thought, Gainful Excersice, Leadership + Influence, and Quickness to Action.) Since you cant read them all, just have a lot of them and now you can get 30 in all ability scores. With your wishes, keep on making simulacra AND max out everything. Then that’s great. So you have an army.. Of Level 2 Artlocks.
So? I mean I guess they could all shoot low level blast spells and create a nuke but.. Oh yeah, Find Familiar Contracts (totally RAI). An army of Artlocks that happen to be able to cast a 4TH LEVEL concentration spell + Blasting (Like Sickening Radiance or Evards Black Tentacles)-> then cast Find Greater Steed for a minion..
So now if you only had 99 simulacra (why? You could’ve gotten millions!)
Assuming you only created 99 simulacra, you now have 400 Concentration spells running, (because 1 you + 99 simulacra + your greater steed + 99 simulacra greater steed + 100 familiars!)
Oh, and your buddies are spamming stuff like Ice Storm AoE, Vitriolic Sphere AoE, Blight, and other bam bam spells.
So now if you only made 6, if they all cast Sickening Radiance = Level 6 Exhaustion. So now you have theoretically infinite casts of 4th level spells. I mean like that’s great and all but what about that wizard? Well first of all DON’T group all together, that makes it too ez to Fireball the heck out of ya. If you’re feeling squishy cast Polymorph (4th level spell :P) to get some HP like wild shape. Oh, yes, and we’re being Onyx for no damage taken! And now if you’re polymorphed no more blasting but you can just Onyx when you’re low!
Oh, wow! Thanks to your familiars, and Artlocks, you guys now all have Fey Ancestry. Sweet! Now we can all give Fey Contracts for Level 4 Spells. So now 400 Concentration (you need probably 6 sickening radiance casters for instakills), and you can also cast blasts like Blight on your turn. Oh, and did I mention that you’re only Level 2? (supposed to be level 1 but fealty :P)
yeah, so this is op because infinite simalacrums and at will 4th level spells

Q: how high were you when you made this?
also no, it says no were that it can make a fey contract, which turns an object into a magic item, also fey contracts are wierd and require dm fiat.
Finally, "Once the fey and the mortal have come to verbal agreement (with or without a written contract), the fey gives the mortal an object, a kiss, or the like to signify the sealing of the contract. From that moment forward, both parties are bound by the contract, even if the mortal loses the signifying object", from HERE, which is the first result when you google "fey contract dnd"
In other words, since it cannot speak common, you cannot come to a verbal agreement with it.
Here is another thing, you cant get wishes from devils or fey, because wishes are granted by the Celestial Bureaucracy in the forgotten realms.
finally, just cause its raw, doesnt mean its rai. Literally every dm i know would kick you out if you tried this, therefor it is not overpowered, it is unplayable.
Few reasonable GMs allow this.
RAW the spell creates berries. The spell does no healing. Consuming the berries heals, not casting the spell.
You can shout Sage Advice all you want but again, few GMs allow that ruling.

I’m surprised you read through the thread with various suggestions throughout and responded by downplaying life-berry.
Would a DM who allows these features to work together be unreasonable? Do you think it’s silly? Do you think it’s overpowered? Where are we pulling metrics from to say “…few GMs allow that ruling.”?

If a PC ate all the berries - how many hp would they heal? How many times could you do this? What is the healing comparison to other healing spells of the same level?

I shouldn't even need to point his out, but Cure Wounds heals 1d8+WIS hit points with the same level slot.
Do you really need to ask if they think it's overpowered? It heals roughly 5x the hit points and can be cast ahead of time and distributed and applied however - and by whoever - you like. It makes all other healing spells completely obsolete. New DMs high on Rule 0 might allow it, but once you've been playing a while and get a grasp of the way unbalanced things erode the fun of the game over the long term, you come around to the ruling that no, it doesn't work that way.

It’s not unbalanced. What value does preparing it before hand make r having an near endless supply of goodberrys do when it takes an action to heal 1 hp at a time during combat.
doing almost anything else is better than spending an action on a good berry.

The argument is that Life Cleric abilities affect the spell and make each good berry heal for 4hp. Everybody can do the math on how much this heals for 1 lvl 1 spell slot and how it compares to higher level healing spells.

keeping the party topped off between battles isn’t a big deal.
I’d say that the part that makes it magically satisfy food requirements is more impactful than the healing in or out of combat.

It is apparently so hard to program Aberrant Mind and Clockwork Soul spell-swapping into dndbeyond they had to remake the game without it rather than implement it.
1. Hex Monk: Get a feat that gives you spellcasting, and take Hex. Use it on an opponent, and use a quarterstaff. 1d8+3+1d4+3+1d6. And if you min-max, you can get a 16 AC.
2. Ultimate Sniper: Owlin with basically any ranged weapon, and the archery feat.
Flying speed +120 feet dark vision. It can only fly with light armor, which fits a Dex-based build. And it gets better, especially in the later levels. It combos incredibly well with the gloom stalker ranger, increasing that already amazing dark vision, allowing you to make extra attacks, and making you invisible while you're in darkness. It's the ultimate stealth ranger, and you have flying speed, so even if you aren't in the dark, you can just swoop away and snipe from a distance. And this is just 3rd level, this is not even addressing getting free saving throw proficiency, giving you the ability to infinitely reroll attacks, and the ability to give attacks against you disadvantage.

Can confirm, Owlin is an absolutely broken race.
And its even more OP with Gloom Stalker
Then add in 3 levels of Samurai.
Toss in a bit of Rogue for fun (and Expertise as your 1st level)
Not really. Aaracokra and fairy don't get dark vision. The only one that's also good for the build is winged tiefling, but their dark vision is only 60 feet, not 120. Also, they have an ability where they can wear medium armor, which does provide extra protection, but they'll have worse stealth, for a slightly better AC
edit: worse stealth if you're using scale mail/half plate. But if you're using chain shirt, a +1 to AC over insane dark vision is NOT worth it..

2014 5E mostly
3.5 maybe.
No other flying race is as broken?
