I am making a barbarian build and I would love to make his strikes deal magical damage. I took the unarmed fighting style from my race feat (variant human) but I'm out of options for what else to do.
There’s probably a magic item that does it (I’m pretty sure one of the new tattoos does it, but I might be wrong). Another way would be to take enough levels in monk, which would get you a d6 unarmed die anyways.
eldritch claw tattoo can make your unarmed strikes magical. Its only uncommon. By the time this sort of effect usually comes into play (level 5/6), I think it'd be reasonable for you to attempt to seek it out. Completely depends on how your DM handles downtime and player-driven activity, though.

Insignia of Claws is the other item that can do this.
