So I'm not crazy into Critical Role lore, so the only way I see myself buying the new book is if the subclass and other game options sound tempting.
What do you think the odds that one of the subclasses in the book is an official gunslinger? Im assuming they'll include a Dunemancy School for the wizard, but what else do you think they'll have?
My guess might be an update to Way of the Cobalt Soul since Matt's changed it in the time since the Tal'dorei guide was published. The description on *zon makes me pessimistic because it sounds like it might just have a lot of stuff from the Tal'dorei guide since it mentions vestiges of divergence. Unless Matt's introducing more vestiges that didn't appear in the Tal'dorei guide.
Another guess is that we'll get some sort of character option for a consecuted soul since that's a big thing with the Dynasty. I'll be interested to see what that entails but I'm going to wait to decide on whether to buy the new guide until we know how much overlap there is with the Tal'dorei guide. Since that one was through a 3rd party and not WOTC, I'm hesitant.

Another thing I just thought of is that since the Tal'dorei guide was through a third party, there might be a lot of overlap so that the content can launch on DDB.
I saw it suggested on Tumblr that it might also include some of the magic items Matt's given the players, like Fjord's original falchion, Molly's sword that he swallowed and merged with his falchion, Yasha's two swords, Dwueth'var, etc.
Character options I thought of that might get included would be a Cerberus Assembly background (since that's pretty Wildemount-specific) and maybe a Voellstrecker background.
The same Tumblr user posited a fighter subclass that calls primarily on the dunamancy spell that Essek taught Caleb where he can create a shadow copy of himself. Hopefully we get a whole slew of dunamancy spells and some of the homebrew spells that Liam and Matt have come up with recently.
Let me say up front that I have no opinion good/bad, just expect this:
1) Fair amount of Tal'Dorei guide stuff as WotC will want to support play with only this + core3.
2) No Dunemancy as a subclass or school with full spell list. This would be the largest change to magic system since 5e launched, and WotC would never allow without multiple rounds of playtesting. At most, a couple of spells reskinned into existing schools.
3) Less playtest means less major magic (spells & items), less subclasses, and more worldbuilding stuff.
4) Based on above and the amount of playtest on the Artificer, no gunslinger.
What do you think?

I think that since Gunslinger is available in DnDB already, they might have polished it up slightly to fully release it in this one. That said, if it is solely on Wildmount and little on the rest of Exandria, it may not. I'm excited to see it, but despite my love for CR, I'm holding off the 'I NEED this' urge.
Guess we wait till tomorrow to know for sure, not a whole lot of reason to speculate when it will have more details tomorrow, but I think you guys are on the right track, a decent number of material from the Tal Dorei guide will be rereleased, some new dunemancy type spells, updated Cobalt Soul, but I would guess Gunslinger will show up in it (unless there is a problem with rights with DMs guild)/ Lets see what they have to say tomorrow, i look forward to it.

Just watched Critical Role - nothing about this. Checked Critical Role website, nothng about this. Checking their twitter, nothing about this. Checking D&D Beyond twitter, nothing about this. Checking the marketplace, nothing about this. Checking WotC, nothing about this.
Based on the article EddyJ linked, it looks like it's primarily going to be a world building book, the official print release of the Gunslinger subclass and Bloodhunter main class, maybe some other CR sublcasses (if they exist, I don't watch the series) and a bunch of items and monsters. Nothing earth-shattering. And it sounds like a lot of this exists in other locations of the internet? So it's just consolidating this official third party content into a single official release.

Except the listing literally calls out Dunemancy being included as the "new spells" being added with this book.

I have to question why was this done in this way? An "unnamed listing" - that then became this book, with no announcement from anyone and Matt Mercer - who literally created everything this book would contain and owns all copyright to - being listed merely as "contributor".
I'd love a new Critical Role book (have the Tal'Dorei one and it's great) but this one is being released in such a quiet shady manner and based on a campaign that's only halfway through. makes me question so much.

My thoughts amount to:

Gunslinger
... other than that, I've got nothing.
Partway through the quest for absolute truth.

They were gonna do a big announcement but it got leaked.
I think Matt said (in the interview) three or four subclasses relating to Dunamancy.
"Not all those who wander are lost"

I was wrong about Dunemancy, but primarily because my ideas of what it included was WRONG and we have seen playtest...
