My dice were against me and i need to know what i can do i have the class i want and race drow and i can start at level 4 so i took the feat alert here is what i rolled i rolled 16 13 10 10 14 18 there is only 2 good numbers there i know to put the 18 in wiz and 16 in the dex but where should i put the others with the fact there all crap rolls
Those are not bad rolls. Average on 3D6 is 10.5. You have 2 rolls that are basically average, and 4 rolls above it. Compare yours to the Standard Array:
Yours: 18, 16, 14, 13, 10, 10
Standard: 15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8.
With Point Buy you can't even go above 15, and it would cost all your points to do something like 15, 15, 14, 10, 8, 8. Your rolls out-do point buy on 4 of 6 scores, and the standard-array in every one of those slots except one (the 10, which it equals). Why would you think this are bad rolls? What are you expecting, nothing below a 15??
As for where you would put things, that depends on what you would intend to do. 18 in WIS, yes. For the DEX -- are you planning on using a finesse or ranged weapon like a rapier or a bow? If so then DEX makes sense. If you're planning on using a STR-based weapon then you might want to look at CON (for HP) and STR. You can use medium armor and a shield as a cleric, so your AC is not as DEX dependent as someone like a Wizard. Personally I'd probably go 18 WIS, 16 CON, 14 STR, 13 DEX, 10 INT, 10 CHA.

As Biowizard said, these are good rolls: significantly better than either standard array or point buy. Remember that Drow get a +2 to the Dex score and a +1 to Charisma.
Depending on whether I wanted the character to be melee (STR) or ranged/finesse (Dex) for combat, as BioWizard laid out for you, and whether I wanted to be more tough/hardy/have more HP or be better at my chosen "combat" stat, I would do one of the following:
STR/Melee + better combat stat:
18 WIS 16 STR 14 CON 15(13+2) DEX 10 INT 11(10+1) CHA
STR/Melee + tough
18 WIS 16 STR 14 CON 15(13+2) DEX 10 INT 11(10+1) CHA
DEX/Ranged better combat
18 WIS 18(16+2) DEX 14 CON 13 STR 10 INT 11(10+1) CHA
Or you could swap STR and CHA for 10 STR and 14(13+1) CHA since CHA is your casting stat for your Drow spells. That would improve your spell save DC for faerie fire, and improve your bonuses for persuasion, deception, etc. which thematically fits Trickery Cleric. It also opens up the possibility of multi-classing into a CHA based caster later if that is of interest. The more I think about it, the more certain I am I would definitely boost CHA and put STR at 10.
DEX/Ranged Tough/higher HP
18 WIS 16 CON 16(14+2) DEX 14 (13+1) CHA 10 STR 10 INT
You can see here I went ahead and opted for a higher charisma "sacrificing" strength, but you could swap those around and have the same STR & CHA numbers as the DEX better combat stat above.
I tend to lean more toward finesse/ranged weapons myself for most of my characters. Not for optimization purposes, just because it fits the characters I tend to play better. Since Drow get proficiency in Rapiers (finesse), shortswords (finesse), and hand crossbows (ranged), I would definitely opt for DEX over STR unless it didn't fit my character concept.
Assuming you were rolling 4d6 and droppingthe lowest you rolled amazingly WELL.
Only 10% of the time would you expect to have and 18 as your top stat. On average you would only expect one score of 16 or more you have two. On average half the abilities would be 12 or less you only have 2 less than 12 On average half the time you would expect to have a negative modifier (roll less than 10) and you managed to avoid that.
Anyway regarding stats,I would agree with biowizard 18 Wisdom, 16 Con.
If you want to be as effective as possible I would not got strength based, as you can't wear heavy armor. You might end up with most of your attacks being wis based (cantrips and leveled spells) but dex is still useful for initiative and saves. Which is more important than strength unless you want to be in melee grappling opponents.
Normally if you are wearing medium armor you would not put your Dex beyond 14 but if you want to be Drow with your roll you have the luxury of getting it to 16.
What you do with the others stats is entirely up to you, your drow +1 to Charisma would enable you to have a +2 in charisma which would be very useful if noone in the party has high charisma less so otherwise. (Having 11 charisma is exactly the same as having 10). Putting the 13 in intelligence would be useful for a lot of common ability checks such as religion, arcana and investigation. Putting it into strength can help you get out of some traps and help your jumping distances and carrying capacity (if used by your GM).
With 16 Dex you might also consider the medium Armor master feat at some point though this would be competing with getting your wisdom (and possibly con) up to 20 and other very useful feats like warcaster.
In summary I would go with: 18 Wis, 16 Con, 14(+2) Dex others however you like
As others have said, those stats are actually pretty amazing. Do people rolling for stats expect straight 18s? Kinda blows my mind...
10str 14(+2)dex 16con 10int 18wis 13(+1)cha looks great to me. Feel free to swap con and dex and shuffle str/int/cha as you like to fit your character concept.
I feel like this is a flex disguised as a complaint... This kind of array is why we don't roll cause you may totally overshadow an ally who rolled poorly. But congrats regardless.
I agree with those recommending DEX for your combat stat. It's way more useful in general because it contributes to initiative and lots of skills that are likely aligned with your character concept.
In my mind strength v con is nearly always the same decision as heavy or armor or not.
If you go heavy armor (unless you are a dwarf) you have to invest in at least 13 strength, and 15 strength by level 8 (ideally 4 or maybe 6 if you are a fighter) in order to wear plate. If you are not going to wear heavy armor, unless you are something like a tortle you will want to have at least 14 dex for the AC bonus. Investing that much in strength or dex and making the other your attack stat just makes you too MAD.
Actually I do have an idea to play a cleric at some point with low strength and dex. A hill dwarf wearing heavy armor and purly using spells to attack. He would lose out on initiative and one of the more important saves but he would be able to put points into INT for the religion, Arcana and investigation rolls.
Well rolls on that i just finished rolling as i was reading through was this 17 15 17 16 10 12. I am going to use this on a todem bar/ echo fighter no armor 2 handed great axe level 2 in fighter and level 2 in bar.
