How would you guys build a juggernaut? Some thoughts:
Main features: Big damage. Can tank some hits. Strikes fear into his foes, intimidate his own party members. Muscles, but can also use his brain and social skills to overcome problems.
Popular Characters to inspire: Thanos, Kratos, Arthas (Warcraft), Hulk, Geralt (The Witcher), Kenpachi Zaraki (Bleach), Thor (Marvel), Reinhardt (Overwatch), Venom, Shao Kahn (Mortal Kombat), Achilles, Hercules, Leonidas...
Melee Classes that could fit the role: Paladin, Barbarian or Fighter.
Races: Dragonborn, Half-orc, Goliath, Orc or Human.
My group is running a 1v4 campaign where I’m running as the antagonist and I built a ua rune Knight fighter. High AC plus blug, pier, sla resistance. Can grow larger with a d6 more damage. Fire chains to crowd control. Then my feats I ran tough and heavy armor master just to make him a little bit more tanky 😜😜
barbarian/Paladin (I’m assuming you can divine smite while raging since its not a spell?) Goliath lvl 3 Barbarian bear totem and the rest paladin, tough feat, resilient feat.
V. Human wizard, Toughness, pump Strength and Constitution and call yourself "Louis Armstrong". (Google for "fullmetal alchemist Armstrong", if you don't know him) :D
More serious, Goliath barbarian with Great Weapon Master and Great Sword should work nicely. Totem (bear) if you want to be strong on your own, Ancestral Guardian if you want to "tank" for your group.
How would you guys build a juggernaut? Some thoughts:
Minotaur barbarian - bear totem
Class: Barbarian/Rogue
Race: Goliath, Half Orc, Minotaur, Loxodon
Feats: Athlete, Tavern Brawler, Tough, Charger, Durable
Background: Gladiator, Boros Legionnaire, Mercenary Veteran, Urban Bounty Hunter
Going more tanking kind of juggernaut by level 7
Race irrevant generally human give feat I guess
Preq STR13 and WIS 13
6 level druid moon circle for some of the nasty challenge rating two beasts.
1level barbarian and go from there very selfish build as you be using your spell slots to heal yourself but can still rage in whilst shifted.
Could take tough for level 4 and if human savage attacker aswel your physical stats don't much matter as your be shifting mostly.
Ah, you mean a PC. I just got done making this guy for our upcoming game night.
"Not all those who wander are lost"
Tomnickmully's minotaur riding atop Texasdevin's construct?
Now I'd pay a gold piece to see that before Dashing as fast as I can away.
Boldly go

For fun.
Satyr Barbarian Bard
subclasses: barb UA path of the beast (like a werecreature, natural claws, tail with spikes or fangs when you rage)
bard college of whispers, talk to people and make them afraid (spells like vicious mockery, dissonant whispers and stuff like that)
so on the surface you are this party animal but once you temper gets the better of you...
