Hey all, so liek the title says the tooltips aren't working in homwbrew. I've been scouring the forums and Reddit for about an hour and found the correct formatting is Petrified . I've tried different variotions of this and nothing has worked. Can anyone help me out?
Edit: The tooltip works when viewing the homebrew item when browsing the item in collections, but in a character sheet it appears as [condition]Petrified[/condition]
No. Snippets are for adding state based numbers to action or feature text that's displayed on the character sheet. Where are you trying to use tooltips? Because your OP said you were in the character sheet and it was displaying [condition]Petrified[/condition
Tooltips only work on the description pages for homebrew, or these forums. Tooltips don't work in the character builder or character sheet's. Properly formatted tooltips are stripped out of the character builder and character sheet side panel.
I don't believe there is a way to use tooltips in the character sheet
Mairondil is correct. In addition, tooltips specifically do not work at all in snippet fields.
They are upgrading things behind the scenes, so this all ma change, but for now no. You could hyperlink the Tooltips in the description fields and make them bold and italicized, but you would not be allowed to publish it. If you don’t care about publishing and just want a direct reference in the character sheet that works.

I've seen that, can you display spells, conditions, etc. through snippets? If so how?
