Is there a way to change the weapon properties of a homebrew weapon.
I'm trying to create a longer range musket and I was hoping to vhange the actual range property, not just add the range I want as a note. Is this doable?
(If there is a thread on this topic already, please point me in the right direction to that, I'd live to read whatever current discussions are going on, I was just unable to find anything)

We cannot change the base range or damage on weapons no. As for a thread that already addresses this, please see the Homebrew Items & Equipment FAQ: (https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/dungeons-dragons-discussion/homebrew-house-rules/131411-a-homebrewers-how-to-faq). It contains a great many answers to most of the most commonly asked questions regarding how to homebrew.

As for the question of changing the specific range of a weapon, I have not found a way to do so.

Fantastic, thank you both.
Little disappointed that we can't modify those properties though, ah well. Time to get creative I guess!
