She holds up her picture of an island. A large kraken is rearing from the water, approaching a man brandishing a spear and shield. "It's Vali, about to battle Tanagamahkos!"

"Thats a very nice drawing timber," Vega smiles

"Thanks!" Timber adds a couple of tabaxi behind Vali, all firing arrows at the kraken. She points to one. "That's my ancestor, Star!"

"So you were told of this battle?" He asks

"All tabaxi know about Vali! We raised him when we found him in the seas, and when he was resurrected, we retaught him the way of the elements."

"That sounds like a lot of responsability," Vega smiles, since this seemed like a story a child would make up

"It was many years ago, after the age of Jormin."

Phantom glances over at Caramel quickly before returning his attention to the woman. She tried to kill this man. Not sure why yet, and she hasn't given any answers yet.

Timber looks at the girl and sends a calm into her mind. Make a Wisdom save or be charmed.

Phantomizakell appears over the forest next to the tavern, flying slowly and seemingly just enjoying the day.

Caelum soars next to him, also seeming to bask in the sun, but kinda also just to be near Phantom.

"You seem to be much more laid back since we got back from killing that dracolich." Phantom says, glancing over at her.

It's... being near you. You helped me.

Of course. I'm glad to help you. I'm also glad to see that you've stopped addressing me as 'elder'. He says that last part with a playful grin.

What, do you want me to keep doing that? She says with an equally playful smile.

Please don't start it again. He says with a laugh. I do enjoy spending time with you, Caelum. It's not often I find someone who can understand everything like you do. Most do try and act like you did when we first met, and it drives me insane.

It was my culture. And I didn't know how to react when I met someone older than me; it's been so long since I met anyone as old as you or older. Well, besides gods and the GuildMaster, but they're not like you.

Not many beings my age are. Most are like you'd expect in your culture; demanding respect and honor. I'm unique. I enjoy the company of those younger, and want to be their friend, not their superior. I'm even more unique, in that I saw the birth of several of the most powerful deities in my world's pantheon after the Creation War, the very same war in which my father died.

I see the world in much the same way. Those our age are still learning, still growing, adapting. If we cannot bend, we break. The only difference between us and the younger races is our years in which we have seen so much more.

Phantom nods. Indeed. So many of them need our help, and our protection. I help protect an entire region from the aggressive attacks of a rather powerful tribe of orcs the live in the mountains where I made my lair. Phantom spots the lake in the distance. But enough of such serious topics; the time has come for some fun! With that, he takes off towards the lake.

Caelum chases him.

*Gtg soon! I'll be back later, I hope. Although that'll probably be pretty late for all you easterners... ;)*

When Phantom reaches the lake, he looks back to see if Caelum was following, and then dives under the surface, sending up a massive splash and wave.

*Alright, Later!*

Caelum laughs and follows. When they're underwater, she freezes the water above them with a thin layer of ice.

Trying to see which of us can stay underwater longer? Phantom asks with a grin.

Sure. Or, getting some alone time, if you will.

That, I can definitely understand. With that, he snakes his head towards her, and gently bumps into her.

*Insight 24*

She's looking at him a little strangely. She bumps his head right back, and breaks through the surface, gasping for air. *She forgot to take a breath before going under.*

Forget to take a breath Caelum? Phantom asks, an obviously joking tone in his voice.

Yes. I won't forget next time, though.

She twists around to see you, an evil smile on her lips. Make a Dex save.

His tail snakes around her, and tries to grapple her. *38 athletics check to grapple her.*

*Yep, that works*

She is easily coiled around, though managed to hang onto the briefcase

Yekel pries her fingers off the briefcase and tries to open it.

She holds up her picture of an island. A large kraken is rearing from the water, approaching a man brandishing a spear and shield. "It's Vali, about to battle Tanagamahkos!"

"Thats a very nice drawing timber," Vega smiles

"Thanks!" Timber adds a couple of tabaxi behind Vali, all firing arrows at the kraken. She points to one. "That's my ancestor, Star!"

"So you were told of this battle?" He asks

"All tabaxi know about Vali! We raised him when we found him in the seas, and when he was resurrected, we retaught him the way of the elements."

"That sounds like a lot of responsability," Vega smiles, since this seemed like a story a child would make up

"It was many years ago, after the age of Jormin."

"Thats around 600 years or so?"

"Much more. Around, uh... 2000 years ago, I think."

"Thats a long time," Vega murmers

"Time cannot wear down history." Timber says wisely. She draws some extra sparkles from the blast of elemental fire that Star is shooting. "Star was one of the greatest tabaxi heroes of all time... I hope I can reach her legacy someday."
