The latter, trust me. I have no wish to leave the Blood War.
How long might the checkup last?
Only a few weeks, here. Maybe a month. It's been days there, though. So, why are you here?
I walked through a portal and decided to stay.
Fair enough. Where did you learn to weave illusions?
A Xaotisect I rather admired.
You're from Sigil?
I wasn't born there.
From what I can tell, few people are. Are you a Xaotisect?
No. I've thought about joining, but the Sensates are tempting, too.
Good. I would hate to have to kill you.
You probably couldn't.
You might be surprised.
So might you.
Not really, no. The energy required to maintain an illusion of this size for an extended period of time is quite large.

Xrorhran is still hiding.
Scyria is still dead.

I am still working on homework (and a possible new character)...
Phantom is sitting on the couch, watching Caelum and Albwin.
Soldaer is thinking about teaching a knight how to ride a horse.
Lhurr is still not drunk while drinking his keg of Gutbuster.
Yazrin is sitting at his usual table still, drinking Cherry Feywine.
Xrorhran is watching with amazement. They tried Gutbuster once. They were out for days... They're also 12.
Lhurr notices him, and chuckles.
*Orc, spent time with dwarves. All but immune to Gutbuster as proven by when he drank an entire mining party under the table.*
Xrorhran notices Lhurr watching them, and hides. (23, min. 27) A moment later they come up next to Lhurr. "That's amazing!"
Lhurr chuckles again. "I spent some time among the dwarves. Drank an entire mining party under with this stuff, and was still standing steady. Once you're able to do that, alcohol doesn't really affect you."

Kai steps past the destroyed door of the spaceship that hornet tore off when they first free'd him. He looks across thee small vessel, the ground littered with destroyed equipment and glass. This vessel was never meant to return with it occupants, that was the most noticeable part of it. No permanent fuel source, no landing gear, and barely any oxygen. If it weren't for the magical containment they were put it, they wouldn't have survived the trip, let alone the fall from the heavens. He sighs, trying to recall the events leading to his imprisonment on this ship, but everything was extremely fuzzy. returning once again to the environment, there was many things that could hide some sort of salvageable material. Kai steps forward, further into the ship's interior. He picks up a few scraps of metal, considering any use for them, before dropping them back to the floor. The next thing that caught his eye was a bookshelf, fallen during the crash. He picks up a few books, stowing them in the bag, before noticing a pile of clothes and a broken picture frame on the ground. He kneels down onto the ground, picking up the fallen photo next to the discarded clothes. He looked at the photo, gritting his teeth as he took in each detail. The smiles of the family before him. A family he should have helped destroy. His features begin to shift, taking on the icon of each person in the photo. A middle-aged man with a scar crossing over his left eye. A women with auburn hair and soft eyes. A boy with white eyes and silver hair. Then back to his original form as sparks snapped up from his fingers, lighting the photo in fire. The light of the flame casts distorted shadow upon the walls, a twisted form made of Kai's shadow. He let go of the photo, letting it drop to the cold metal floor of the ship, slowly burning out. The parts of his finger that touched the flame were seared black, only to be covered by the paper white color that made up the rest of his body. Kai looks up at the ceiling of the ship as he walks, not paying much attention as he traverse the remaining space of the ship. The only thing that draws his attention is when he hears something clink against his shoe and the metal ground beneath it. he looks down to see what he had stepped on, finding a small tube, filled with a glowing red substance, almost blood-like in its color. He picks up the container, twisting it between his fingers for a few small moments, before pocketing it. He looks around one last moment before leaving the ship. Let the scavengers have it, he had no plans for it himself.

*Yep, she's at the tavern.*
Caelum walks up to Mithris and hands her a fancy silver invitation.
Mithris looks up from the book she's reading. "Thank you. What is this for?"
"It's a VIP invite for our - my and Phantom's - wedding."
Mithris looks a bit surprised, but mostly confused. "Someone tried to explain it to me before, but it's still strange to me. Why would people have a wedding if they're already mates?"
"Um... It's a sign of devotion to each other, and a way to make it so others can't tear them apart as easily..."
"It just seems very complicated for no reason. It doesn't actually give you anything, right?"
