"No need to be so shy!" Kite smiles. "I could buy you a drink if you'd like?"
She nods, but doesn't look up at her, hood still pulled over her face
Kite hands her a mug of apple cider. "I understand if there's something you want to hide, but I promise I won't judge you. You really don't have to worry about that."
'...promise?" She asks, taking the mug and holding out her other hand in half a pinky promise
Kite nodded, locking her pinky with hers. "Cross my heart, Hazel!"
Hazel hesitantly pulls down her hood, revealing she's a drow elf

A half-drow...unusual... He gently guides her line of sight towards himself, where he's leaning against the bar, eyes slightly narrowed, but definitely curious, and still a bit on edge.

Not quite... I'm a full Drow. He smiles slightly. Yazrin Tlin'Orrza, former firstboy and weapons master of the Twelfth house of Menzoberranzan, now a hunted a hunted rogue. He says, bowing his head slightly.

Yazrin smiles slightly again. Why don't you join me? Tell me some more about yourself and how you came to be here.
Well, i'm having a current conversation.... maybe you can come over?
He chuckles. Sure. He turns to the bar, and downs the majority of a glass of red-tinged feywine in one go before standing and making his way towards her.
She looks up at him, "You're tall." She says

He laughs. "I'm almost 300 years old too." He says, chuckling.

"Thats like... double how long i could live total."
He chuckles. "Well, you're a half-drow, so You don't live quite as long."
Raphael streatches after a while, waking up. "So... Now what?" She says, looking up to Elendon. "Um... we can go.............. fishing?" They say, looking at the lake
Elendon chuckles. "Sure." He reaches into seemingly nowhere and pulls out a pair of fishing rods, already baited.
"Cool... To be honest I have never fished. I was just wanting to suggest something." They say, as they grab one
"And it's been a couple thousand since I last went fishing so we're pretty in the same boat." He chuckles.
"Um.... Sure. But um... well mind if I ask a question?" Raphael asks, stumbling over their words as usual
Elendon chuckles. "You're still nervous around me, aren't you?" He smiles. "And yes, you may."
"I... I am wary of messing up. I doubt that I will do everything correctly. It was easy before, because I had limits and knew what to do, but you don't give me orders (which is perfectly fine and I understand why you would do so) but... I have a lot more ways to mess up." They sigh. "I thought gods were just magically gifted with everything... So you don't need experience in fishing, do you?"
Elendon laughs. "You need to believe in yourself a bit more, Raphael. Yes, I am a deity, but heck, even I have made mistakes before. As for not needing experience in fishing, that's true of those who where created as deities. I am a mortal that was raised to be a deity."
"Oh right." They stand up straight, trying to live up to the angel their deity wants them to be. "How was that? Becoming a deity?"
He pauses. "Unusual...I mean, I died as a mortal, and then woke up in front of Stargazer, the Creator, who had decided to elevate me. and my adventuring companions, to the second rank of the pantheon, directly under himself, and above all other deities in the pantheon."
Raphael lets a sigh of relief after the pause, happy that they didn't strike a cord. "Cool... Do you remember your mortal life?"
"All of it; the good and the bad."
"Um... Nice. Wish I knew mine...." They think for a while. "Um... what was your favorite thing you could do as a mortal but not a god?"

Elendon leans back against the roots of the willow. "Honestly, I don't really know...probably being able to have normal children. Now, if I have a child with anyone, it's either an Empyrean or another form of celestial..." He sighs. "Otherwise, with my rank in the pantheon, I can do just about whatever I want."
"Cool... um... Shall I continue asking you questions?"
Elendon chuckles. "That is up to you."
"Did you get to decide what to be the god of?"
He smiles. "I had some say in it, but it was Stargazer's say in the end. As for my being the General of the Angelic Armies, that was already given me, considering I helped rally the humanoid races, giants, and basically everything that wasn't already in the war, to fight alongside the dragons in the Creation War."
"Cool... Did you always give your angels free will?"
"Not at first, btu I quickly got frustrated with them taking every single thing as an order, even jokes." He sighs. "So I quickly started making that a requirement to serve me. It's gotten much better since then."
"Don't worry, if anyone comes around here and they attack you, it's my job to beat them up!" Kite folded her arms, smiling.
Hazel gives a soft smile, "You're very brave, a paladin right?" She asks
"Devoted follower of Torm, sometimes called the Bearer of Happiness and Rainbows!" Kite strikes a power pose. "But yes. As a paladin, and liscenced officer, I'm responsible for your safety."
She has a very obvious twinkle of wonder in her eyes, "Wow, thats amazing!"
Kite shares her enthusiasm. "So what do you do? Are you an adventurer?"
"Uhhh, i can do a,little bit of spirit magic.... and i'm kinda able to fight," She says, rubbing the back of her head
"Well, what do you like to do?"
"Hmm.... i guess i like reading a bit. I do a work out to keep in shape every once in a while."

Raphael is shaken by guilt, and begins to pick things up. "Where should I put them? I demand to help."
She clutches her stuff, reluctant to let a stranger handle them.

She nods to some books. "On the shelves, sorted with the Dewey Decimal System."
They nod back, before shifting to an owlin and putting them in their right places
She starts and knocks over a stack when he shifts.
"Something wrong?"
"Y-you can change shape?"
"Yes... You want me to be a winged elf?"
"..." She's speechless, but she manages to pull out a journal and begin writing down everything about Raphael.
Raphael finishes organizing the books
She continues to write down everything on him, then pulls out the books he organized, cross-referencing stuff to find out what he is.
"Need any more help?"
"What can you do? What are you? Where do you come from? Who are you? Why are you here? How can you change shape?" She pauses for breath.
