The human nods to Avery, and goes to the notice board and puts up a poster that reads:

WANTED: APPLICANTS FOR A MISSION IN THE SHADOWFELL. REQUIREMENTS: ENOUGH POWER TO FIND A LICH. REWARD: VARIES, INCLUDES POWERFUL MAGIC ITEMS AND AT LEAST 10,000 GOLD. IF YOU’RE INTERESTED, KNOCK ON THE BOARD AND I’LL KNOW.

Caelum *I'll split her again because most of my encounters are over now* walks up to the human.

"Hello. I may be interested... What is your name?"

Caelum is a ~5' 5" elvish woman with silver hair and silver clothes. She doesn't seem to be carrying weapons. *She looks a bit different with truesight, though. Also, does the human look different with truesight?*

*Nah, he looks the same. He does have truesight tho.*

He nods “I am Erevan. You are?”

"Caelum. Caelum Argenti, of the Silver City."

She is a silver greatwyrm, massive, easily dwarfing the Tavern. Quite a bit like Phantomizakell, actually, except more silvery and a little younger looking if he knows anything about dragon ages.

Erevan smiles “Interesting. Well, please give me your application when you’re ready. I’ll be hanging around here.”

*What’s her CR?*

*28. But she also has armies at her beck and call.*

"Application? What, this is a job? I mean, long term, etc.? I mean, I don't have to come..."

*Oh crud. She’s a bit OP for this. As a matter of fact, she’d steamroll it and dwarf all the other characters. I’m afraid she’s to powerful to be in this encounter. Sorry.*

Erevan shrugs “It shouldn’t be very long. But I feel like this is a little beneath you.”

*Then the same's true for Phantomizakell, my dragon who's outside the tavern, lol. CR 29 homebrewed dragon type.*

*Honestly, I think you'll find 75% of all the characters here are on a similar power level...*

*Nope. Just you two and Alaric. I raised my kenku's level for the encounter, but other than that, I have a weak level 3, weak level 13, and strong CR 1/2. Most other people are similar, or manage powerful characters better.*

*Agreed. Chase is CR 1/2, Mithris is level 13 with literally no ranged attacks, and Xorius is... stronger, but still not that strong.*

*K. Imma clear some stuff up. While CR 28 and 29 are powerFUL they arent powerCREEPed. For those who havent been around here, theres a very large difference. Powercreep involves the abuse of power, usually to sway things ending how you want them to. The dragon characters have mostly been fine, because this hasnt been the case. Theyre powerful, but not powercreeped. Also.... Legos thing was definitely over CR 30 in most of our opinions..*

*I got a lv 5/11, a lv 12(almost 13) currently in Sigil, and a literal commoner. The sword swarm is a plot villain thing, so its a bit higher, but I can tell you the final fight us designed for mid level characters.*

*Gooooooood morning!!!*

Adder was camping out on the roof of the tavern. He was leaned on the side of the chimney, head tilted back to watch the sky above him. A candle in a brass lantern started to flicker before dying out in a puddle of liquid wax. Adder blinked his eyes and stretched a bit, waking up.

Penny was inside. She was wearing a pale blue long-sleeved shirt, black high-waisted jeans that was attached to rainbow suspenders that were strapped around her shoulders, and thick boots. She was working on a small trinket she held in her hand, it was the sized of her fist ad gave off a strange warmth to those who stared at it directly, The trinket itself looked like a stone of amber but it glowed with lines and layers of gold and fiery essence.

Oval was sitting outside, they were digging in the dirt and making a rather large hole in the frosty ground. They looked like they were searching for something.
