[We've still got a few people on the roof that could do something, and if you don't find a solution, I can always do some sort of Deux Ex Machina from somebody somewhere to save you. I'll have it so there's some consequences though, so it isn't just a waste of an encounter.]
Sean steps forward, having successfully climbed the building. He says, “You made a mistake today. You didn’t have a backup plan!” And reaches out, grabbing the man around his neck, the metal claws digging into his neck. (Adv. from restrained and disadv. From cal cancel, but hot dog makes his check with disadv. And -1) 19
(Pretty sure that will be a success. If it somehow fails, disregard this) Sean’s metal claws sparkle in the light as they dig into the man’s neck, and then sparks erupt from them. The hot dog guy levitates a few inches off of the ground, and electricity shoots out of Sean’s hand, blasting into the hot dogs, condiments, and the stand, returning them to their normal state. A couple seconds later, a huge bolt of lightning, phantasmal, shoots off in the direction of the bomb. It deactivates the bomb, assuming it’s related to his power. (Sean’s speed is now 25 feet.)
The Hot Dog Guy gives a strange gasping, guttural noise as this occurs, the claws digging deep with a crackle of unearthly lightning, his body floating up and then dropping back down again as the blast strikes out to cancel out his powers. The rumbling has stopped, and although the building still slightly groans, with cracks running up it, the chilli dog down below has seemingly reverted back to how it was previously, neutralising the explosion. The Hot Dog Guy breathes heavily and looks up to Sean groggily, with a bizarre expression on his face that could show a whole mixture emotions, anywhere from gratitude to distaste, before promptly passing out from exhaustion, slumping forward on the cracked rooftop floor. Seems he's been thoroughly defeated, and having his powers blasted out of him have fully wiped him out.
Sean also slumps a little bit, tired. He handcuffs the man and searches him for anything hot dog related. He then asks for help to carry him down the building, so the arrest can be completed. “Hopefully he’ll give us some info.”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Charles smiles at Roland
, but it’s kind of… empty. He reaches over and opens his laptop, hoping he has a connector to link to the server room. (I guess I’ll roll to see if he does 13 )
[Yeah sorry, I’ve changed my mind and decided everyone will level up together at the end of this whole section, since that makes way more sense if the whole thread advances at an equal rate. Means we won’t end up with some players being stronger than others, even if it’s only for a while, especially since there might be another encounter still to come.
But, I can tell you that when you do level up once the bank is completed, you’ll get advancements tied to the spy stats. I’ll explain it in full when we get there!]

Charles doesn't have a connector on him, but even if he did, he thinks it wouldn't even work then. He expects that a government facility as valuable as this one wouldn't allow public access from unauthorised devices; there's likely only a few devices actually verified to link and sign into these servers. Your best hope is to look about the other two vaults and hope that one holds a device that can connect.
*So, is Athen just going to die when this building drops on him? Does he get another chance to do something before it falls? I just want to know if it’s over for my mechanic boi, also Shiver could we make a pm to help me figure out this character with Persona ability to change people’s hearts.*
[Dunno if you missed it but Sean disabled Hot Dog Guy's power with his own, so you're all good. Also, sure, send me a PM with the ideas you got for it at the moment, and I can help point out any flaws with it and stuff, though I can't actually offer much help with actual creation of the power and how it works, since idk anything about Persona but I can help balance it!]
The head officer tells Cressen 'They're down there gathering any information they can find, and I'm guessing that Hot Dog Guy was sent to distract us while they worked. He seemed completely nuts though, so glad you all got him subdued before he did anything crazy...' he says, as if nearly blowing up a whole building with people inside wasn't crazy enough, 'we'll have to question him in full when he's awake though, back at the station.' He then thanks Sean for cuffing him up, and sends an officer to drop the Hot Dog Guy at the station, taking the police car parked in a nearby alley. As you watch the car disappear up the road, the Hot Dog Guy still cuffed and unconscious in the back, you get the strange feeling that this won't be the last you see of him...

Tam takes the card and swipes his way into the southern room. The door opens with a click and a swoosh, and reveals a sunken room, filled with larger servers and consoles. Stairs descend into the space, directly opposite a large throne like chair facing a wide computer screen. Sat in the chair, seemingly plugged into it, is an inhuman figure that gibbers, clicks and operates. You can't see too much of them since you're looking at them from behind, but they seem to have 6 arms, each incredibly long, spingly and cybernetic, poking away at a hologram that projects from their chest, the cold metal claws connecting files and sorting data seemingly endlessly, along with other cybernetic enhancements all across themself. They're so locked into the process that they don't notice the light entering the room and the door opening; if you want to attack, you have a surprise round. You also notices that next to the stairs, tucked away, is a small living space, with a bed, fridge, oven-stove, and a large, double locker made of stell. Overall it's very bare, but you also notice that some of the appliances are beginning to rust, and the bed is dusty and worn. Clearly this space has not been used in a while; the robotic creature at the chair seems to have been focussed on their work for a long time, mindlessly pouring over the digital screen. Roland whispers 'Seems he's a slave to the government...sent here to work on their data whilst not needing anything to sustain themself. What do we do?'
[The map again since it's been a while and you might want it if you attack]
[Well, since you're not playing classes, character sheets won't work, but if you want to keep a record of your stats (it's entirely optional since we're all running on similar stats and I trust y'all not too lie, but it still could be useful) a Homebrew Stat Block would work really well. Of course, it would have to be listed as Private since you'll be updating it as you progress, unless you want to keep making clones every level up and then overriding previous Public versions. Do you need any help on how to build it? If you do, start with a Commoner Stat Block, then go to the last level up at the end of the Power Plant part and add the adjustments there (they're quite a way back so I'll find them for you) ]
