However we can say that you traveled the short distance across the desert to arrive at Hoeb. You are allowed in through the Sword Gate which faces the coast on the west. It becomes apparent to you that the gate gets its name due to the army barracks that are right inside of it. The entry is swarming with guards but you are allowed in without difficulty and you are able to pass through the gate without bending over even at your great height. Carved into the sandstone walls are figures of ancient warriors and strange beasts with human heads, eagle wings, and the bodies of a bull. You find that this gate is also the closest to the bazaar.

The giants who go shopping in the bazaar come across tea shops and cloth merchants and stands containing dried fruits and nuts. Several shops offer magnificent rugs covered in patterns and designs that make them vibrant, fields of some dreamland of Hoeb. You notice merchants from Bolgimerez selling jewels and metals and several merchants from nearby neighboring countries. Wooden racks display beaded ornaments and barrels of melons huddle in crouched clusters. You occasionally must stop to allow a caravan of camels with sagging humps to plod by or for a goatherd to herd his goats.
