Sub, Fire, VT, SK, and Sedge find themselves walking along a forest path when ahead they see a small girl sitting by the side of the path, curled up under an oak tree. They can hear the sounds of muffled sobbing.
The little girl looks up as Subs walks past her - "Sir, can you help me? I.. I... I ran away from my farm and I cannot find my way out of this forest". She seems to still be sniffling but no longer sobbing as much.
"What's your name, little girl? And which farm was it that you ran away from?" He looks over to SK, "But what if it's a quest hook and the farm is a child mill or a brothel or something. We'd be obligated to help."
"You can't find your way out of the forest? Do you not see the path we are journeying on at this very moment? Have you not thought to travel in one direction or the other to lead your way out of the forest?"
Fire raises an eyebrow. "A farm in the forest? That seems highly unlikely and illogical. Why would there be a farm in the forest? They wouldn't be able to grow any crops out here." She finds a long stick and starts gently poking the kid. "Who are you? Who sent you? I pay my taxes!"
Day 87, I can't go on a freaking vacation without the mods going nuts

Anyway, have fun... cruise ship internet is slow (and expensive) so I'm going to be offline for the rest of the day.
Rescue! We all live! And a cruise ship, to boot! Too bad about Sedge, though.

See, I told you it would be Skizz that rescued us. :P

Subs looks quizzically at the girl, but since he's the anti-social type he fails to ask her what is wrong and continues on by.

SK notes to the others, "I bet this is a classic trap, where we're supposed to feel empathy for the little girl, only for her to lead us into a trap."
