Anyone know a thing or two about Skyrim? If so I’ll elaborate
(just to be clear I know nothing about Skyrim, so like if you have any knowledge it’s helpful)

So, we switched TTRPGs to Elder Scrolls.. which means that’s the setting. My character is a Nord and I kinda wanna know about the Nord structure, like how do the Holds work? And are they kinda like dumb violent people or civilized Vikings? I was told they’re like Vikings but idk how true it is, DM said I can add some lore but I don’t want to uproot it all
Idk much about Skyrim but I would go with civilized Vikings, maybe merchants and traders and like great seafarers, over dumb violent people. There’s a lot more potential for rp there.
I mean yeah I wouldn’t make a dumb violent character just because of that, pretty sure there was some trading. I’m just really stuck on a backstory.. idk what to do. The current character is a swashbuckler who left home, in the OG idea he was a pirate who had a change of heart but idk

I was at a party and there was a game of truth or dare, and the truth was to give your honest opinion on everyone in the room (each player had to do it) and I got positive responses, which really made me have better self esteem. Sometimes after a long time without someone just reassuring you you’re not a loser you kinda end up thinking you are one. You’re pretty cool yourself
