Found a Toriko dnd homebrew and I was super excited about it... but the last update was Jan 19th and they haven't made any classes or anything like that even though that was next on their list, so...
The world is run by megacorporations. They are far more powerful than the world's governments in just about every way, possibly because every mascot is not-so-secretly an eldritch god that allows for biomods and magical items to be created.
Magical items are all corporate merch, and players can make their own corporations with their own gods, biomod types, and cuisine. For example, Arch presented me with:
Dandy’s Candy
“it’s Sinfully Delicious/Don’t give me that conscience, Nonsense!”
God: Dandazius, Or Mr. Dandy, as it’s called. (Takes the form of a desiccated, Mummified corpse made of sweets, with syrup for blood, fondant for skin, jawbreakers for eyes, licorice hair, and the like. It is in a state of constant sugary agony and it wants others to share in its suffering by feeding the masses delightful sweets that seriously don’t give you much in terms of nutrients, they’re super unhealthy but they’re really good. Dandazius’ body is in need of constant ‘feeding,’ in the form of adding new layers to it that are almost immediately sucked dry and desiccated.)
Powers: Leeching
Signature: Candy canes (come in quite large sizes!)
Oooh, maybe a PR agency commissioned by multiple megacorps to spread propaganda. Sometimes they might work for multiple companies to aid them in disenfranchising each other. That’d be interesting.
