For me I recall elementary/middle school having the full week off. Not sure with high school if it was the full week or Wednesday+. (But double-checked their current schedule and it's just the Wed+) and college was also Wed+ only. (Though they were majority commuter schools, so makes sense they didn't need to give students time to travel to/fro home.)
