I like Cyan Bloodbane too. He’s from the Dragonlance saga, which I personally love, and his plans are truly intelligent and diabolical, as befits a true dragon.

She watches people from crystal balls daily like someone binges a TV show, and the city of silverymoon made an illusion to make it more dramatic for her without her realizing, the main character basically just being a shapeshifted, male version of Old Gnawbone.
