Also, just helped a guy with creating his character. Was a fun experience. (We ended up using DDB.) Gonna run the Grammy's Apple Pies one-shot. (wizard wants you to get the recipe)
When we got to races he saw the aarkocra and was like, "Wait. So would I be able to fly?" Considering I chose an aarakocra as the race for the first character I made myself for the exact same reason I couldn't help but smile.
Then he chose a Knowledge Domain cleric for his class and was looking into the background tab of the character sheet with the faith. Showed him where he could find some info on gods and whatnot but was like, "But hey, if you think of something you want to do that's fine too." Well the wheels in his head turned to be like, "What would be a good fruit to represent knowledge?"
And thus were born the Newtonites. Worshipping Netwon, the god of apples and gravity!
On Monday gonna get together with some other guys from the group and I am looking forward to it!

In comp sci were learning basic python right now, and weights was a choice cause I need to get to the gym more regularly

One guy surprised me somewhat. He'd initially thought he'd be a simpler spellcaster (I suggested warlock) but today he decided he wants to go more an assassin-type route so we made a rogue for him. And when he wasn't sure what race to pick his friend was like, "You could always just be a man." So he's a V-Human and since he says he often has terrible luck in games he was quite happy to learn about the Lucky feat.
Other guy wasn't too sure initially but then the idea of wildshape was intriguing to him. (lv 1 one-shot, so that'll come the time after) So helped him with making a druid. And he took a liking to frostbite so will see that.
