I could barely stay awake. I liked the message, I was just exhausted.
arent you exhausted now? this is why you need sleep Baalze
I'M EXHAUSTED BECAUSE I WOKE UP AT 6:00 AM AND COULDN'T SLEEP, PJ.
I wake up at 5:30 in the morning for school. Every single school day.
that sucks, i get up at like 8:00. Really people need more sleep than that, and going to bed early never works, since its just so hard to fall asleep, something about producing the sleeping chemical later than grownups.. blah blah blah

I get up at . . . like, 11. And I fall asleep at 12 or 1, sometimes 2. In my defense, things are way more interesting at night!

I mean on weekends. I’ll stay up till 12 or 12:30 on school days, and wake up at 6:30. I could wake up later, but I don’t wanna risk being late.
Wonderous Item, Rarity Varies (Requires attunement by a spellcaster)
While delving into the unknown, one often loses sleep. To combat this, many aspiring dark magicians create these devices, which in addition to making particularly good coffee and being generally pleasant to have, are loaded to the brim with magic to keep one safe and sane during long, late-night forays into the occult.
Occasionally appears as a tea press, allowing it to create tea instead of coffee.
Slumbering (Uncommon). You learn a single cantrip of your choice from any spell list you choose. You choose what its spellcasting ability score is. If your attunement to this item ends, you lose that cantrip.
In addition, you can choose the flavor of any coffee you brew using this press. This press also produces up to a gallon of coffee each day without requiring coffee grounds or water.
You can use this coffee press as a spell focus.
Stirring (Rare). The Stirring coffee press has the Slumbering property, and in addition, you can put spell slots into it, causing it to gain charges equal to the level of the spell slot. Treat this as casting a spell. While Stirring, the coffee press can only hold up to four charges. You can expend charges in the following ways:
You can expend any number of charges to give temporary hit points to a creature you can touch. That creature gains a number of temporary hit points equal to 5 times the number of charges expended. While it has these temporary hit points, it ignores the effects of exhaustion until they have at least 5 levels of it.
You can expend one charge to cast Shield of Faith on a creature you can touch.
You can expend three charges to cast Lesser Restoration.
You can expend four charges to cast Haste or Magic Circle.
While attuned to this coffee press, you get a +1 to your spell save DC and spell attack rolls.
Wakened (Very Rare). The Wakened coffee press has the Slumbering and Stirring properties, and in addition, it can now hold up to six charges, and can expend charges in the following ways:
You can expend one charge to cast any spell of 5th level or lower as a ritual, even if you do not have the ritual casting feature.
You can spend 5 charges to gain advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects for one minute, or until you lose concentration (as if concentrating on a spell)
You can expend 6 charges to cast Greater Restoration.
While attuned to this coffee press, you get a +2 to your spell save DC and spell attack rolls.
Ascendant (Legendary). The Ascendant coffee press has the Wakened, Slumbering, and Stirring properties, and in addition, it can now hold up to ten charges. You can expend all 10 charges at once to cast Power Word: Heal. Once this property is used, the coffee press cannot gain charges until the next dawn.
While attuned to this coffee press, you get a +3 to your spell save DC and spell attack rolls.

can anyone suggest a good tavern to me? I want one that doesnt have a TON of lore, and isnt super full already, like 2StoryTavern, so that i wont need to catch up all of that. I havent RPed in a while and im kinda looking to
What about DrakenBrine’s Shopping District? That’s a town trapped in a time loop, but it is high fantasy. I can’t think of any others besides 2ST. Oh, and the Shopping District is a pretty new tavern with not a lot of lore.

Edit: preferably a High Fantasy one, not Sci Fi
The Gay Turnip doesn't really have a ton of lore. I'm kind of making it up as I go, so you could do almost anything.
Except clerics. That's one of the things I have set in stone.

the thing i struggle with in Taverns is Combat, combat in D&D is very ingrained into my brain, and it feels odd to me when i cant attack people (im not a murderhobo or anything, just saying)
anyway, link to the gay turnip? ill check it out

thats understandable, im not the best person for Role Play, i mean sure i can make a good character backstory with interesting stuff about them. But i still enjoy combat (unless it goes on forever) and a lot of my favorite things in D&D require some combat: Heists, Sneaking, Quests, Bounty Hunting, etc. maybe the Taverns arent for me on second thought?

I can run the occasional combat encounter. You'll have to tell me your character's level, though. I get that encounter balance isn't really a thing, but I can at least try.
